I actually got this game already in some AMD "chose 3 games" bundle or something for 30 or so dollar, I think. It was around the end of december 2013, so I am not 100% sure anymore about the price... For the game beeing not even released yet it was super cheap, though. Makes me not worying a lot about the games quality.

Seeing that even the cheapest horse in the game already costs 17k money, I'd rather pick the horse than the useless mudcrab. :>

Max Payne 3 was about 30gb! I still don't know what exactly made the game so big, though.

True, it won't ever be the same if I can't get wieners in my game. Though, there actually is a "add-ons" button in the main menu. But it's probably just for interface stuff.

I am level 7 now and the game starts to take off, finally. I am finding more armors and weapons and I can finally craft some interesting things.

For me, the starting location in teso is the one *after* the intro that is the same for every race. I played two of the three so far and both were so-Lala. It's ok for MMO gameplay, I'll guess. And yeah, crafting at level 6, that's where I started as well. But it took me too long to get to that point, with too much running around, hacking through whatever quests I found. That's what I find extremely boring here, because I am simply not feeling the variation up to this point. I didn't found any new clothes or stuff, rarely a different weapon or whatever. Anyway, keep in mind that I usually don't like MMOs. If I had to choose between Neverwinter and TESO, I'd take TESO right now, though.

Think? So far it was only about finding enemies to grind for the materials. It is super annoying, imo. But that's probably why I just don't like MMOs. It's just such a huge timewaste. In this case especially, because I am not planning to buy the game and a subscription.
-
Agreed, but the beginning is super slow and boring, imo. Also I heard you can't play with people from other factions if you don't have a subscription(?) of some sort? Right now I find it extremely annoying to find the items to craft basic stuff (and it took me a few hours before even that was possible, I think). Also I have no idea how to study new styles, etc.

Played the TESO Beta for a while. Graphics are good for an MMO, and it does look a bit like Skyrim. Other than that, I find it super boring, just as the Neverwinter MMO. Maybe I am just not open for this type of game anymore nowadays, no idea. In any case, paying 50 dollar for it and then another 15 dollar per month would be a huge no-go for me.

Never forget the 500 endings of Fallout 3.

I am working in a team of 12 women. I am one of 5 men in the whole building and It's awesome. Being young and in school (or something similar) and the only male in class sounds even more awesome, to be honest.

I wonder why everyone wants importing saves so hard. Me personally, I couldn't care less about it, especially because such a feature will never have big impact on the game.

I'm amazed to hear that they do. https://www.google.com/search?q=skyrim+best+writing+award&oq=skyrim+best+writing+award&aqs=chrome..69i57.4325j0j8&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8 Google's not coming up with anything of the sort for Skyrim. http://www.gamechoiceawards.com/archive/writing.html Fallout 3. I did think it was more than one of their games. *shrug* Though it was funny seeing people praise the Skyrim Thieves Guild questline here and there after I read Shamus Young's breakdown of how stupid the questline is. http://www.shamusyoung.com/twentysidedtale/?p=14422 Heh, that quest made me lol. By the way: I actually think this could be quite funny at the end of players life. There are so many quests in the game that apparently link you up with some god after your death that when you finally die, you would have all these gods trying to get your soul. It just screams for a super big clusterfck and I am highly interested in what the outcome would be.

I'd say one must watch Fight Club and then wait a few months. Then you watch it again and realize how your world is breaking together.

That's so super creepy.

I don't know what I see there.

I hope the new book gets a German translation soon.

Oh god, I played this a lot like a million years ago.

Did some Rome 2 again. With the latest beta patch, some things actually changed a lot for the better now. For real.

Re-watched Tremors yesterday. I like all the 4 movies and will continue with Tremors 2 now.

Yeah, changing the cell type to "text" usually fixes/ workarounds this stuff. It's still super annoying, though.

Is that the original? I don't recall a Brenda's Lab in the second. (If so, what's the original like compared to the second?) Definitely the original. It is much rougher than JA2, but it has quite a bit of charm to it. JA1 and JA2 play quite different though, because JA2 added all the stuff like soldier stances, "real" travel on worldmap at any time, training militia, etc. If JA1 would have been released last year and JA2 this year, people would rage about the heresy and all the changes. :>

That looks pretty good. Makes me wish to have the skills to do stuff like this too.

Watched Kick Ass 2. Not a bad movie. Was pretty much what I've expected.
