  1. I never finished TW2 with the Iorveth play through, to be honest. I started it for the third time since release, but I just find it extremely hard to get motivated in that chapter 2. All the caves and paths and stuff, I find it so extremely annoying. I really want to play through this, but damn... The Roche path was not such a pain for me.
  2. Heh, that stuff works. Had to disable DoF because it was horrible, but other than that I didn't noticed a worse performance.
  3. The maddest man. When TW2 came out, I actually liked Geralt the most with his default TW2 hair. Now that I am replaying it, somehow I became a huge fan of the undercut-style. Never liked the loose hair, because it looked so fake / stiff to me. Now that I am thinking about it, are there any hair mods for TW1? Might start to play it again, if I can change Geralts appearance.
  4. Was this posted already? There's some new gameplay stuff at the beginning. It's not much, but looks p.cool, imo. Though, I am sure you can create similar looking enviroments already with the Witcher 2 RedKit, if you are skilled with shaders and environmental lightning.
  5. Still doing Rome 2. Played a while as Macedon, now doing a Athens campaign again.
  6. Oh god, let's post some red (brown?) hair-ish woman. She has the same eye color as me, by the way. That means we will be close some day. I know it.
  7. Started watching Crow's Zero, because people said it's good. After half of it I kicked it out. Can't remember when I've seen something this stupid the last time.
  8. For a while I was toying with the idea of getting a Pogona / Bartagame. Dropped it later, because I don't know for how long I will still be in my current housing + there might not be enough free room for the terrarium in the next one. Much sadness. And another one while I am at it:
  9. Wait, are there multiple endings or something? I finished it once and thought that's how it is.
  10. Btw, reminds me of this: About that new AC game... Well, played a bit of that one with the native american dude, but the beginning was so boring (no idea when you actually start playing that native american dude...) that I quit fast and never felt motivated to try again. Long story short, probably won't even try that new thing. :>
  11. I am not much a fan of huge cities, because it usually means maze-like citystreets and I hate navigating through that stuff.
  12. Didn't worked in TW1 and TW2, so I'll guess he won't be able to do this in TW3.
  13. If it doesn't feature a ballistic shield, I am not interested. :/
  14. Yep, I am stealing threads + going a step further. Just check out this majestic manliness: And yeah: Geckos are the best:
  15. I really don't care about choices being taken over or not. Actually, I probably prefer if they aren't taken over. This "import yer savegame from the older games" thingy makes me always think about Mass Effect and how silly the "consequences" had been done. They could have scrapped all that stuff and I wouldn't have felt like anything is missing. And truth is, you probably can't do much more than what was done in Mass Effect, simply due to development time and money. Same reason why The Walking Dead games only offer a truckton of "fake-choices" from game-to-game and not much else.
  16. Yeah, it makes my heart feel very heay when I see a game that has all the features I'd love to see in a new tactical / police singleplayer game... but is actually multiplayer. I just don't want to play this. Most of the time, such games are fun for me only temporary. That means, a day or two... and that's not really worth it.
  17. If I try to remember back, then I just don't remember any situation where using the silver sword vs. monsters in TW2 was not effective.
  18. Was there any monster in TW2 (didn't finished TW1) that actually needed the steel sword? It always annoyed me a bit that everyone assumed the steel was against humans and silver against monsters. But I think the games never did anything against this talk, no?
  19. Meh. Same as the Rainbow Six stuff. So heavily scripted, I've never seen a single multiplayer game that was remotely like that. The reality is, everyone spawns, everyone runs around like crazy, someone starts shooting, everyone wants to have the first / best kills, etc. Multiplayer games just don't work like shown in the videos.
  20. Looks great, but I'll doubt the game will play like that. Truth is, probably everyone will rush around right after start and then die. Especially on public servers of course. Bleh, make it a bit slower and singleplayer and I would be jumping circles now. /Edit: That Mass Effect stuff is so much PR bla bla, it's not even funny anymore. :D /Edit2: Evil villain Bryko in FarCry 4 looks interesting, but his crazyness reminds me a bit too much of that guy in FarCry 3.
  21. To me it looks like it's probably still part of the intro. Because right after the health bar was down, the cutscene started and Geralt was walking into the city. I've seen that stuff usually only at the beginning of a game, when you are still able to get force-teleported around without the player being angry about it for whatever reason.
  22. Damnation, is it 11 years already?
  23. Hotline Miami 2 will get a map editor for release: Only question is, will this be for single missions only, or will it be possible to make custom campaigns with cutscenes and all that stuff. /Edit: The trailer music is here: http://myor.bandcamp.com/track/blizzard
  24. Yes, of course, that's how you can call it as well if you'd like to. Well, right now it's a waste of money. And considering how such games usually work out, I'll guess it will take at least 2 years till you could consider buying it.
  25. Nope, haven't done it. Always thought there weren't many choices taken over anyway (other than some items you would get anyway to the end of TW1?). And I still wonder if any of that will have influence on W3.
