  1. Using Soul Appease is the easy way to kill the rats. Do you play online? The rat kings covenant pvp area are my favorite. I've got that online stuff running, but honestly, I have no idea how exactly it works. The game isn't really explaining it very good. So far I like the hint texts from other players. It's pretty useful. Killed some players who invaded my shait already, which wasn't such a big deal. No idea how to play in coop, though. So far I haven't seen any markings and stuff. Then again, I had some oath sworn up until now that actually made enemies hit harder and prevented that coop stuff (I think), which was like... well, I was facepalming a lot when I found out about this...
  2. Continue working on Torment. With the money, without the Gullet.
  3. Pretty sure this is nothing but hot air anyway.
  4. Heh, this one was good: And it's damn true. These people, they do nothing but talk. All day long. If they would spend that energy on creating cool games, the situation would look a lot different.
  5. Just beat the first rat boss in DS2. I made 23k souls with that one, because I had to kill so, so, so many rats. Obviously died quite a few times, but at least I was smart enough to collect the dropped souls again. So that one was a pretty good reward, I'd say.
  6. Whats this, a porn movie?
  7. I finally downed the Pursuer. Level'd up a bit more, then finally was able to stun him in his first attack, stormed to the balliste and fired two bolts and him. Now with level 50+ it was not the hardest shait anymore, but still pretty annoying. Now onto the next boss!
  8. No. Manhunt really is different. It at least has some kind of point. By the way, I find that The Last of Us reminds me a lot of Manhunt. It doesn't feature the "wait a bit for harsher execution"-scenes, but the death scenes are still very brutal and the pure gameplay is actually very similar. You hide in the shadow, you try to knock out enemies from behind with stealth, usually you sneak around everywhere, strong enemies with sight cones patroling specific areas and who can kill you fast if you don't keep a low profile or have much better weapons available... More than once I felt like playing an upgrade of Manhunt in a post apocalyptic setting (with a better story and deeper characters).
  9. That Hatred trailer looks pretty boring, imo.
  10. Will see how that is going to work out.
  11. That's quite a trainwreck. Also it feels like one of these chat flamewars we had 15 years ago. Just that this thing is kind of escalating more and more into the public... kinda funny of some sort. Also that guy is in a wheelchair and his nickname is hotwheels? That's pretty of awesome, imo.
  12. But does it also work with tower shields? The small shields are looking like they have a "bash" attack, while the big one only shakes the ground- but this doesn't seem to interest the pursuer.
  13. Beer with me? Beerbros? The Crystal Glass? The Common Hops? Something along the lines...
  14. Got the next mini-boss down. Some slow guy with a hellebarde. He was quite easy with blocking and waiting till he attacks me. Much easier than the puruser in any case. Though even he doesn't seem to be that impossible anymore now. It's just that I find it very hard to dodge him. Everyone writes about using the balliste to get him down, but in reality that really isn't so easy. Guess I will have to figure out how to party his attack to stun him...
  15. The game needs a good GPU. Processor power is not *that* important, as far as I can tell.

First episode was so bad, I probably won't ever watch this show again.
  17. Oh man, I just found out how useful my shield in DS2 is. Blocking doesn't even drain that much stamina anymore. Guess because I leveld the stats up. When I tried shields the first time it was rather... underwhelming. Now even that huge sword whatever monsters aren't a *that* huge threat anymore to me.
  18. Reading that, I just want to cry.
  19. Well, if we are in a simulation, then I'd say my player is incompetent and I want someone else.
  20. God damnit, it's hard to spot.
  21. You can skip The Pursuer until later, though you can find an armor with a fancy cape after beating him. To be fair, he is the hardest boss until Velstadt (if you skip the Belfry Gargoyles, who are optional). Tried to ignore him for now, and walked to that lighthouse whatever area with the huge whatever monsters. Now I can beat maybe two of them if I keep calm, but then that's it again. Also I totally really, really, really, really hate all the backtracking in this location. There is no fireplace around, so everytime I die, I've got to walk that loooong way from the city down the tunnels and further, just to get beaten up by the huge whatever monsters again. That's draining my motivation a lot right now. The mobs aren't that hard, but you totally have to learn the movement and stuff, and I totally lack the required skills with controllers. Maybe I should buy a truckton of crossbow bolts and lame it out from the distance, in the hope to see a new fireplace at some point. This game really is addictive, but I just hate that "learn the maps" kind of stuff. Also a part of me is yelling "just quit that shait" all the time.
  22. Still doing Dark Souls 2. Can't believe that I am still sticking with it. Just beat the last of that giants boss monster. It actually wasn't that hard. But the next boss right around the corner totally pwned me of course. Meh. I like the look of the armors so far. They look heavy and stuff, which I love quite a bit. Hopefully I am going to find something fancy with a huge cape or fur or something later. Coz that's how I usually roll.
  23. It is the only thing that makes any sense.
  24. Didn't even reached lvl 40 on my first playthrough.
  25. Also it is a song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWs8kdGUgDg
