Had the same thought when playing the beginning. Flashing lights and stuff all around, couldn't see anything, didn't even realized the game was going already. Will seriously need to get used to that first. On the other side, I had a similar feeling when playing Unreal Tournament 3 for the very first time. There had been so many objects and stuff in the maps, it was so hard to look at anything important, because my brain wasn't used to all the details on screen.

I wasn't softbanned (how do you get that anyway?), but in the DLCs are rarely other players. It's probably also getting into the calculation that I am lvl 192. It's probably a lot higher than other more or less generic players.

Only if you buy into this nonsense about GamerGate being about misogyny. I believe that back when this was only about Zoe Quinn that I made my position on her as "someone who doesn't matter" quite clear. She's not the problem. Wu's not the problem. Sarkeesian isn't the problem. Well, I don't buy into this "GG is about misogyny" stuff, but I also find the other side hilarious. Both sides make it easy to lol about them, especially because both sides can very easily be manipulated by generic internet trolls. People are trying so hard to argue in a serious manner with trolls, it's almost as if everyone is new to the internet.

Just beat the third Dark Souls 2 DLC. Have to say the DLCs are kind of annoying when it comes to coop play. They seem to be more crafted towards multiple players doing it, but as I was unable to summon human players most of the time, I had to rely on the bots, and they just suck at everything. Now I dunno. Probably going to toy around with some of the left over optional bosses, and then I'll look into NewGame+. I am lvl 192 right now, and my savegame says 87 hours. Holy fu. Guess it is time to start doing something else again... but then again, NewGame+ ....

Had a few people telling me to write a book too, because I've got some crazy ideas every once in a while. I would love to write something big... but truth is, I suck at writing. I can write like maybe 500 words and then I've said everything I wanted to say and my brain feel empty. Much sadness.

You should get all weapons back with talking to that woman. Sometimes she is a little slow and still inside of the base when you are already outside. So it's good to wait a little bit inside / watch her walking outside. Then when outside again, talk to her and get all your stuff back.

So, anyone tried this Lords of the Fallen already and can share some thoughts about it? Heard it is pretty much a Dark Souls ripoff, but "without a soul" and full with bugs.

No games for one whole day! Such a task must take an incredible amount of willpower. It's *online* games. Also, count me out of it. I am still addicted to Dark Souls 2 and I like to coop the bosses with other players after a hard workday that has me out of the house for 12 hours. Yeah, approx half an hour ago. Did it with 2 other human players and it was actually pretty easy. *Much* easier than the smelter demon. As far as I can see, the only boss left to kill in that DLC is this samurai dude. In theory he shouldn't be that much of a problem either. Got him down to approx 1/4 of his hitpoints already before he totally pwned me. Will try again tomorrow.

Finally beat the damn smelter demon in the second Dark Souls 2 DLC. It took quite some time, but finally worked out... Only because I found a competent human player. Each of us distracted the boss always when the other had to heal himself. Also we both had good weapons with lightning damage. This way we could get him down reasonable fast. It was good- this is actually when DS2 is the most fun.
