  1. So it is 2015 soon and I am sitting at home, having no idea what to do. Hmm. Guess I could go to bed early...
  2. Quake on an oscilloscope. So hardcore.
  3. I sure hope Clear Sky wasn't the first Stalker game you tried, because really, that one was a horribly buggy pile of...well, bugs. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't already a fan of the series, and even then I'd add a warning label. Personally I greatly prefer the first one (SoC) for its atmosphere and the sense of mystery, though the third (CoP) one had vastly better mechanics (well, they basically fixed the rather broken "gun upgrades" stuff from Clear Sky). Unfortunately the mod packs I used to use on SoC (OLmod fwiw) no longer works on the latest patch (yeah, it really is that old), it did stuff like add repair to shops and allow silencer to be used on a lot of guns that they didn't work on in SoC (like the Russian ARs). Though I think Stalker Complete added some of the same stuff, I should probably look up which mods I used last time through). I still remember how me and two friends were playing SoC not too long after its release and we all got slaughtered trying to take out the bandits with just a pistol, over and over again... Of the three I was the only one that actually made it past that part and continued to play the game, I don't think the others ever believed me when I told them I easily took out those bandits nowadays on hardest difficulty. Man, that first fight used to be so intense... Or getting past the Cordon, the hard way, with just a pistol and a sewn off dual barrel shotgun. Hehe, so many memorable moments in that game... Played the first game a lot back in the days. This is also one of the reasons why I am so burned out. It was pretty much the same- I was in love with the setting, but the game just couldn't make up what it should have been. Made some mods for it too, but that was it then. Clear Sky came and made me ragequit. Then CoP came and I was out of that genre / universe already.
  4. I thought he was in jail already / had no money anymore / his Mega thingy is going down?
  5. You could try Scientology.
  6. I pretty much only used the sword (classic version) in the new Shadow Warrior game. It was most fun.
  7. I am still so Stalker-burned out. All the bugs and linearity and bleh. So much potential, but they didn't used it. I restarted Clear Sky about 7 or 8 times, and even with the latest patch I was unable to play through the game because of script errors. CoP was better, but at that point, the Stalker games became way too annoying to me already. Won't play a new Stalker game. It would get zero motivation from me and that probably will stay a while like that.
  8. Well, I certainly would have banned you for that.
  9. I didn't know there is a WW1 multiplayer shooter.
  10. Dunno. Possible. Didn't know the holiday sale started again. This sale probably won't be better than the last one, and I don't have anything planned to buy (other than MGS5 for PC), so I'll skip it for now. :>
  11. MGS5 Ground Zeroes gets released and it kills the Steam store.
  12. Hitch****'s The Birds was p.cool, imo. Good that the planned remake of it didn't worked out. /Edit: Oh lawl. Poor Alfred. Can't get his name on this boards.
  13. That press-text slideshow felt silly to me, but other than that it looks interesting, and I'll probably check it out.
  14. What is this with you people and your screenshots with fonts for ants.
  15. New Rome 2 dlc is out. Started a new campaign yesterday, will probably continue it on weekend.
  16. Lift some concrete blocks instead.
  17. Some people make my brain bleed. Pretty sure that team would take any woman *if* the necessary skills are there. Just like Carmack said.
  18. Young Ciri from behind looks like a very small man with long white hair. :>
  19. Wasteland 2 a few months ago... haven't gotten the box yet, though. Oh, and Bayonetta & Dark Souls for PS3. The HDD of my PS3 isn't big enough to download everything onto it...

What exactly is this gem system anyway and why would I want to care about it?
  21. Nah, I started to look like some kind of old hippy from the late 70s. For a while that might have been my style, but not anymore. :>
  22. Funny, got pretty much the same hair cut. My sides are getting very "fluffy" fast, which looks crappy and annoys the hell out of me... so I let 'em getting cut that short at least every 3 weeks. Had super long hair just a few years back, but I started to get bald (yay...), so everything had to go. All in all, I think my head looks a lot better with short hair, but the balding still doesn't help it really. :>
  23. That's why it is a spin-off. This doesn't turn me off that much, because I know and see it as just that: A spin-off. But I find the controls somewhat wonky. Also most of the time I feel like I am just mashing buttons, hoping to hit something. Also somehow the game wants me to go stealthy, but as far as I've experienced, this is pretty much not possible most of the time, or it just doesn't make much sense.
  24. Metal Gear Rising. It is... interesting. I'll probably continue playing, but it doesn't get me that much, to be honest. Guess the only reason why I continue playing is because it's set in the Metal Gear universe.
  25. Nope, FNV doesn't really take much from the old Van Buren. I don't think it's a good idea to make a non-Fallout Van Buren "Remake". I find it kind of pointless.
