"What you did at the Doc today"-Thread. I am out of the hospital now, by the way. Now 3 weeks that stuff on my arm, then it can get removed. After 6 weeks I will be able to use my hand again as normal, kinda wondering how long it will take to fully move my fingers again, though. In any case I am extremely excited that the pain is nearly nonexistent anymore. Will still have to visit the Doc like once every week, but oh well, got nothing else to do anyway. I promise I will be more careful with my hands from now on. :>

Should have used napalm, imo.

You make it sound as if this happened last week, but the "sandbox" thing is since the game is running in alpha.

Btw. They are advertising arma3 as "military sandbox" and not simulation. They are aware that the game isn't on par with a true simulation.

Driving Ai had improved extremely in arma3. Just to compare: in arma2 the Ai most of the time wasn't even able to get around corners. I like arma3 a lot. It's offering only improvements over arma2 and I like the setting and all that jazz. Also I feel too lazy to complain about everything, so I just take it how it is. :>

Looking at some of the nurses here, i wouldn't be surprised if I will have some sexytyme in my dreams tonight. %-)

Was falling from my bike, because of the bad road. It wasn't even with a lot force, but I've been very unlucky with it. Right now my hand still feels better, though. The surgery was totally worth it.

I am in the hospital since yesterday. Surgery went good as far as I could hear. Don't know for how long I will be here, though. But so far it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Also I get lots of painkiller stuff, which is awesome.

I want this arm thingy so hard.

Not the new Wolfenstein, but I also like to know what game this is.

Can't edit my post anymore. Such madness. Just got back from Doc. I'll need a surgical intervention, because my finger bones might rotate. Now that means I am probably out of the game for at least 5 or 6 weeks. Guess how happy I am about this news...

I successfully passed one week of broken hand. It's madness. Not much the pain, but I am so extremely bored, and I feel like I am becoming more depressed each day. Never in my life I would be more happy to be at work right now. At least two more weeks to go. Probably even three weeks. :/

I dunno. I feel like we are becoming more extreme. People either don't care at all or they care too much.

The first thing coming into my mind when reading the thread title.... "Avcon... Avellone.... does he have his own convention now?"

Soccer is super boring. But sports is currently off limits anyway, because my leg still pains me too, and my left ellbow (and my bike needs fiding). I've been falling from the bike really stupid. Might be able to do some jogging in a week or two. Maybe I do a new playthrough of Incubation today. Haven't done this in 2014 yet. This one I can try to play with my left hand.

Still dealing with my right hand. Getting through the day is so slow and painfully boring. I can't do anything that is fun and watching stupid TV all day kills me.

I know the loud lethality is a bit contrived, but they did it because dead people, unlike unconscious ones, can't be brought back to hunt you down when discovered Really? I guess that makes sense, but not really still... I don't think anyone got revived during my game, but I did drag the bodies out of sight. Yeah, I played on highest difficult setting and never ever had anyone being resurrected. Either I am too good or the game is still too easy.

It is said to be approx 3 weeks. Which sucks a lot, because it is really bad timing for my job and all. I can't even hold a pen now and typing with left hand only slowly becomes quite annoying zo me. I am not used to typing this slow. /Edit: Managed to put on my pants alone. Great success. It aint easy if you cant use the right hand and the left shoulder hurts like hell (too).

If I can do that with my left hand only, I might consider it.

Broke my right hand yesterday when falling from my bike. It hurts.

I think you could open doors with grenades in JA2 too. But then again, I haven't tried this since ages, because there always had been other ways. For walls on the other hand you needed bigger explosives.
