Once last year I got hit by a thunderstorm when I had approx half the way behind me. It was rather hardcore, especially because it became extremely dark in less than 5 minutes and of course I've been in the middle of nowhere. When I was back home, I've been totally done with the day and I was smelling like a dirty ocean. Mudd was to be found even on the back of my helmet.

For me too it is the first ride in the new year where it hurts a bit, but usually it's not a problem anymore when I do the next tour a day or two later. Damn, the weather right now is pretty good, even in the late evening. It's like the best phase of summer has started. Wondering if I should buy a crossbow. Wanted to get me a new compound bow since 2 years already, but never could get me to... I'd also like to try something like tomahawk throwing. This looks quite fun to me.

I didn't even know there's a new Expendables movie.

I never take cold showers. I am not man enough for this. Cold showers are like self punishment. I don't feel motivated for such stuff. No-no.

Pff, do it more often and you get used to it. Take enough water with you, though. I actually find it great to get home after feeling totally destroyed and then taking a shower. Of course it feels better if you don't break your bones while cycling the tour...

I think that stuff needs to be custom built or something. It's not really what shops sell that often. Why do you need 100lbs anyway? That stuff is hard to draw.

"What you did at the Doc today"-Thread. I am out of the hospital now, by the way. Now 3 weeks that stuff on my arm, then it can get removed. After 6 weeks I will be able to use my hand again as normal, kinda wondering how long it will take to fully move my fingers again, though. In any case I am extremely excited that the pain is nearly nonexistent anymore. Will still have to visit the Doc like once every week, but oh well, got nothing else to do anyway. I promise I will be more careful with my hands from now on. :>

You make it sound as if this happened last week, but the "sandbox" thing is since the game is running in alpha.

Btw. They are advertising arma3 as "military sandbox" and not simulation. They are aware that the game isn't on par with a true simulation.

Driving Ai had improved extremely in arma3. Just to compare: in arma2 the Ai most of the time wasn't even able to get around corners. I like arma3 a lot. It's offering only improvements over arma2 and I like the setting and all that jazz. Also I feel too lazy to complain about everything, so I just take it how it is. :>

Looking at some of the nurses here, i wouldn't be surprised if I will have some sexytyme in my dreams tonight. %-)

Was falling from my bike, because of the bad road. It wasn't even with a lot force, but I've been very unlucky with it. Right now my hand still feels better, though. The surgery was totally worth it.

I am in the hospital since yesterday. Surgery went good as far as I could hear. Don't know for how long I will be here, though. But so far it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Also I get lots of painkiller stuff, which is awesome.

I want this arm thingy so hard.

Can't edit my post anymore. Such madness. Just got back from Doc. I'll need a surgical intervention, because my finger bones might rotate. Now that means I am probably out of the game for at least 5 or 6 weeks. Guess how happy I am about this news...

I successfully passed one week of broken hand. It's madness. Not much the pain, but I am so extremely bored, and I feel like I am becoming more depressed each day. Never in my life I would be more happy to be at work right now. At least two more weeks to go. Probably even three weeks. :/
