  1. The only Hitman game I ever played was the second one, I think. It had one feature that I thought was really dumb: If you solve a mission silently, you'd get bonus weapons... which you would never use, because that would mean not being able to solve the mission silently.
  2. Couldn't find if it is real or not and how old it is, but obviously he doesn't look like that right now. /edit: Found some news with the picture now. It's from may 20, 2013.
  3. What's that, a mobile phone simulator?
  4. Also they try to market with New Vegas now. "It's Like Fallout: New Vegas on acid in Vietnam". Truth told, I am very interested in this project... I just don't want to back it.
  5. Just noticed... after playing through the beta, I am actually really hooked now. Totally want to continue playing, but I seriously have to force myself not to touch that game again until the 28th. Damn. Shouldn't have started.. who would have expected that? Certainly not me.
  6. That extra year sure was worth it, imo.
  7. Why would it be? There was never a sign of it possibly never getting finished.

    65°C is quite harsh, imo.
  9. Still sad about the lack of Cadegund. Thanks for reminding me.
  10. I dont mind the change so far, as i hated nearly every combat scene in the original.
  11. Well, I just played through the beta yesterday and the day before, because I couldn't wait anymore. Took me about 7 hours, faster than I thought (if it's really 1/3 of the game). It actually hooked me up quite well and I really want to know how it's going to continue. Based on that, I'd rate the game to be pretty good already. Much better than Wasteland 2 from the visuals and production value (W2 always felt... somewhat off, probably because the different graphic assets never really fit well together). Also I'd rate it higher than PoE so far, simply because it doesn't have real time with pause AND it doesn't have that truckton of generic filler trash-mob combat. In fact, I had about two battles in the whole beta- everything else I could solve with talking. The only really negative thing I've noticed so far is that there often is *so much* boring, unnecessary filler text. At some point I've stopped reading the introduction descriptions in dialogue, and it felt like I was actually missing out on nothing at all. Really, at times I feel like this game has huge amounts of text just to be able to say it has huge amounts of text... Hint: Sometimes less is more.
  12. The difference is that Erdogan sued, Trump did not.
  13. Well, that's dumb.
  14. So, I am curious-- can I play the game with gamepad on the couch now or is that console stuff really only for the console version?
  15. It is. Before that, nobody really remembered the law exists at all. No idea what happens next. I guess they will go into revision or something, because the reasoning and what exactly has been banned is very shaky. Also, as far as I've read about it now, the ruling pretty much goes against the other court rulings that happened before in this case.
  16. Really depends on the price. If it's too high, it could as well be a blockage for smaller teams, if it's too low, it means nothing (isn't it already $100 right now for Greenlight?).
  17. When I was younger, of course I loved RE2. It was pretty much exactly what fans of RE1 wanted: More zombies, more guns, more action! Keep in mind, zombie themed games like that were pretty much not existing back then. Damn, I played RE1 so often, I could paint a detailed map of the house out of my memory and speak most of the cheesy dialogue passages 1:1 with my limited english skills. Years later I realized that RE2 already started the decline of the franchise... The games became more and more about action and guns and shooting monsters. RE3 was even worse regarding that. It's not a bad game, but it's just not what RE "has been" to me. Never played RE4, never played any RE game ever since. The RE1 remake is awesome. I think they did pretty much everything right. Kinda sucks that the PC / remasted release isn't *that* much improved over it (visually). Still, great to have it finally on PC... no reason to keep that crappy gamecube with that horrible controller any longer. /Edit: And yeah, RE1 is highly inspired by Alone in the Dark. The whole pre-rendered background thing, the haunted house theme, etc. is just the obvious parts.
  18. I am disappointed with S2 of The Expanse. I am disappointed because apparently it only has 5 episodes. :/
  19. You are wrong! I mean, I disagree. Should have written "You are wrong. FACT." :>
  20. Nice Guys was ok. Watched it yesterday. If this is the second best film of 2016, which one is the best?
  21. God damnit, I hate this Jill skin so much. Nothing can top the original clothes that somehow never made much sense to me, as apparently everyone in STARS has his own custom uniform.. :>

Somehow I was just wondering about obyknven and if he has lost his job at the russian troll factory. Haven't read any of his pro-russian stuff in a while now.
  23. I didn't know the zombies had boobs. :>
  24. But if the game has 100 and 200 hours and turns out to be half a turd, will you still spend all that time on it?
  25. Makes me wonder if PETA people were loling about it while writing the letter.
