When I was younger, of course I loved RE2. It was pretty much exactly what fans of RE1 wanted: More zombies, more guns, more action! Keep in mind, zombie themed games like that were pretty much not existing back then. Damn, I played RE1 so often, I could paint a detailed map of the house out of my memory and speak most of the cheesy dialogue passages 1:1 with my limited english skills. Years later I realized that RE2 already started the decline of the franchise... The games became more and more about action and guns and shooting monsters. RE3 was even worse regarding that. It's not a bad game, but it's just not what RE "has been" to me. Never played RE4, never played any RE game ever since. The RE1 remake is awesome. I think they did pretty much everything right. Kinda sucks that the PC / remasted release isn't *that* much improved over it (visually). Still, great to have it finally on PC... no reason to keep that crappy gamecube with that horrible controller any longer. /Edit: And yeah, RE1 is highly inspired by Alone in the Dark. The whole pre-rendered background thing, the haunted house theme, etc. is just the obvious parts.

I am disappointed with S2 of The Expanse. I am disappointed because apparently it only has 5 episodes. :/

You are wrong! I mean, I disagree. Should have written "You are wrong. FACT." :>

Nice Guys was ok. Watched it yesterday. If this is the second best film of 2016, which one is the best?

God damnit, I hate this Jill skin so much. Nothing can top the original clothes that somehow never made much sense to me, as apparently everyone in STARS has his own custom uniform.. :> -
Somehow I was just wondering about obyknven and if he has lost his job at the russian troll factory. Haven't read any of his pro-russian stuff in a while now.
-
I didn't know the zombies had boobs. :>

But if the game has 100 and 200 hours and turns out to be half a turd, will you still spend all that time on it?
-
Makes me wonder if PETA people were loling about it while writing the letter.

tbh, it doesn't surprise me. For some reason DX:MD really didn't grab my attention either and the DLC crap didn't helped either. And I've played DX:HR a lot back in the days, liked it a lot.

I guess this is the kind of game you seriously should play with TrackIR. -
So basically it is like Resident Evil 1 but in first person?

I've finally managed to sink a few ships. Tiny ones, but still. I've activated every helper tool that I could. This way I was able to better identify the target, movement, timer of the torpedo, etc. which allowed me to better predict its path. Still required me to reload a few times... at least I feel like I've learned a bit about the controls. It was just weird how every torpedo seems to miss the target, no matter the depth I've set, unless I activated the magnet targeting function... If I can't hit crap without it, then why make it a toggle button in the first place.

Huh? This would make sense for the original PoE, but it is pretty clear what tue sequel will play like and they had more gameplay and graphics in the trailer than before. 3 years is also probably a realistic timeline. They might actually hit it. edit: Where did you get 2020? It says 2018. 2020 was that Apocalypse Now game, if I remember right. :> /Edit: Which is still at barely 100k as I see right now. I really expected people to go more wild about it. Maybe not enough advertisement or something?

Trying Silent Hunter 5 with the Wolves of Steel mod, but I am so, so bad. Restarted 3 times already, but I just can't work it out. Can't hit anything, getting spotted easily or run out of fuel because I am under water for too long while trying to get closer to any ship. I really haven't figured it out yet.

Wondered why the Obsidian board runs like crap, then found out they apparently announced PoE2.

Looks quite rough still, but I don't complain.

Never played SWAT1, but played 2 a lot before I even knew there was a third game. Never finished the terrorist campaign, because it got so damn hard after just a few missions.
-
Feeling like repeating myself, but... I really want a good new SWAT game, with ballistic shields and dogs and all that jazz. :/

Do we get a Star Wars movie per year now?
-
Well what else? At that point they won't be able to change the game anymore at all, so feedback would be kinda useless.

So I finally got my 100mbit/s connection since last week and boy, does it feel like overkill. :D Now I download huge amount of gb's in mere minutes when it took hours before. Like, updating Star Citizen took a full night, getting latest ArmA3 dev branch updates took at least half an hour, etc... I start Steam now, do something else and when I am back 5 minutes later, every game update has been finished. Feels really weird to me, heh. Now I get why there is this "turn your unused capacity into a free internet hot spot" service thing in the contract ... my connection is in idle mode most of the time now, as everything is done so quick. Just sucks for everyone around that the router range is extremely short. :>

A real wild west RPG, now that would be something I'd be really all over about. Now I am not talking about games like Red Dead... imagine Fallout or Arcanum as a true wild west experience. Something where you arent necessarily a generic genre gunslinger, but maybe a doctor or slave or whatever character. So far someone has yet to create that.

Meh, if it's some fantasy game again, I am out.

20 hours, even 15 is ok if the game has a great deal of replayability. 60 hours and more is a guarantee that I wont finish it unless we're talking about my game of the millenium, which is very unlikely to come around.
