  1. Also people, that does look more like a Q&A to me (questions collected send over to him for answers), and not an interview. Which of course explains why the 'interviewer' is keeping his type of questions the way they are. Not necessarily because he totally wants to weasel some out of MCA, but simply because that's the form he got.

    Westworld

And dont forget there are naked people sitting around all the time. Especially Dolores!
  3. Still just some story elements (NCR-BoS war, etc). Even MT is nothing like anything in Van Buren. You might argue it is similar to Boulder / Dome City or so, but seeing the whole picture, it is not either (it actually resembles the cut EPA location from Fallout 2 way more). Hoover Dam is completely different as well, except for the conflict with the Legion. The Burned Man was completely different too, except for "he was with the Legion and got kicked out." Also what ending are you talking about? Van Buren's main story would end in multiple cities getting exterminated by space missiles, based on where the player character went and spread the new plague virus.
  4. No it really is not. The DLCs have hardly anything in common with Van Buren, and so does New Vegas. It takes a few basic elements, but other than that it's really not the same.
  5. I've read the interview now and I can't help but feel like MCA isn't happy about all this stuff. Anyway, what I agree with, though, is the Jet thing. Myron was a big arse and he could as well just have stumbled over the recipe. Earlier than anyone else. He is also quite eager to follow the player away from his "prison" at the Reno stables.... He isn't dumb, so he might as well know that he won't be able to keep that lie up forever. Therefore the player taking him as a companion suits his interest (to survive) quite well.
  6. Yeah but I think that was great. Fo3/4s ever ongoing apocalypse is just so lazy and out of place now, imo.
  7. "especially when you could make a step in a direction that mattered for the franchise" Anyone knows what that's supposed to mean?
  8. What is it that Tyranny makes different?
  9. It was just too long for me. I really can't play 60 hour games anymore unless they really, really, really hook me up, which poe simply did not.
  10. I'll wait with the DS3 dlcs until they all have been released. People saying the current one is rather short- and I don't feel like stopping already just when I got warm again.
  11. Did they add footsteps in snow or do I still have to install a mod for that?
  12. Wait did they port it to the fo4 engine? Thought it was just some shaders and crap.
  13. Hahahahahahaha. No. TES6(5? I have no idea) and Fo5 = insta buy for most of em folks.
  14. Well yeah. Captain Obvious told me that this way there is no time for negative reviews. Not that I would buy a Bethesda game on release or at full price anyway, though. Fo4, Fo3, Skyrim, Oblivion... that tells a story when it comes to their RPG games. Besides, the general information policy around Fo4 was already *really* bad (or hey, pretty good from a marketing point of view). Remember, they always only presented material that was showing the player either walking randomly through the game world or shooting up stuff. There was not a bit of dialogue seen... or quests. And what happened then? Game got released and people found out that at least dialogue- and quest-wise, it's nothing but a big turd. :D
  15. Needs to be a good one, though, depending on length. My old 10 meter cable wasn't working anymore after I bought a new (newer + bigger) tv last year. Bought a little bit shorter one that was much thicker (better isolated), but cost about 150€. It was worth it, though, not just for gaming.
  16. Our FOnline 2238 gave you the same experience.
  17. I played Evolve for a few hours, but people were really hostile and obviously it was my lack of skill that lost the match, not the lack of teamplay. I quit and now regret the 60€ I've spend on it. Back in the days, the idea of multiplayer was so awesome. Nowadays, the only time I play multiplayer is when I can do coop with friends. Everything else annoys the hell out of me or just bores me to death.
  18. Damn. Was looking forward to it. There are only so few WW1 themed games, now there is one who had the potential to be good and then ofc it is crap.
  19. That's the whole point of the game. They are trying to make enough money to get over the years that are required for the colony ship RPG. The development time spend on Dungeon Rats is less than a year, exactly because they are reusing most of the assets from the main game and because it is very combat focused.
  20. That trailer actually looks more like a teaser. I'd start a replay of Red Dead Redemption right away, but the old potato ps3 console is unable to render it in higher resolution and I feel no motivation to give me that blurry and pixelated stuff anymore. Seriously, even back in the days I had to sit like right in front of the tv in order to recognize anything. For me the game never looked like on all the screenshots you can find online. It can't be just me... About Desperados.. never finished it. At some point the game becomes really hard and you have to start cheesing around a lot. Never really played the sequels either, because they somehow ruined the game with the 3d graphics and horrible controls.
  21. Not an RPG, true, but have you tried Gunslinger? It's significantly different from the other Call of Juarez games (I'd say better in just about every respect, but that might be just me), and it has this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BZYk6Mz0GQ Yes, I've already mentioned gunslinger. :> It was a fun game and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Maybe I should replay it again some day. Form what I remember, New Vegas is actually the closest we ever got to a modern wild west-like RPG. :> (Fallout 1 has quite a few wild West elements too. The raiders, junktown, etc)
  22. There are the 3 Call of Juarez games, then there is GUN which is pretty awesome and there was also Prey 2(sort of) but beths had to go ahead and kill that one. Played Gun ages ago on PS2. Was ok. Tried the Call of Juarez games, but hardly could get into it. In any case, none of them are roleplaying, but shooter games. Just like I said.
  23. Well... there's Outlaws. From 1997. Yeah, but it's a shooter- and it's old. There had been a few good wild west shooter games back in the days (I've played Half-Life Wanted a lot, too), but I don't remember a single roleplaying game.
  24. I can't believe nobody made a real (good) wild west rpg game, by the way. Did the genre died down so much that nobody cares? The last wild west game in years that I'd call good was Hard West, and that's basically it.
  25. Ive tried The Redemption multiplayer again yesterday too and apparently there are extreme problems with it since years. Some hacks basically ruined it, producing extreme loading times and other bugs. It's really annoying. Then again I usually never play such multiplayer games anyway and I know nobody who would want to co-op it.
