Was able to watch the video today, I only peek in on the information every once in a while. I LOVE the player/npc picture frames and the "paperdoll" is GORGEOUS. Somewhere in my post history is probably a post about me hating on the player models in PoE, guess I get to shut the f* up this time xD As others stated the overworld probably needs something? (unsure what, not a game dev ). Looking forward to it even more now

Slightly saddened with the lack of payment options as well. I totally expected them to come through with that. This means I will miss the beta as well as the physical box and other goodies. On the upside though: I will keep my money, so there is that I will try and check after Wednesday (and before the 3 days are up), not that great of odds when you're busy. We will all play PoE2 regardless in the end though -

Whatever they pick, the engine should suit the gameplay. Graphics should NOT dictate the engine. Obsidian has some Unity experience now so I'm sure Unity5 is an option, maybe Onyx? First person and/or Third person would be the preferred option I think. Just make sure blood boil gets in there! Also , make sure you start the game with the first 3 seconds of: -
LOL "Professional like iNxile", that made me laugh a bit. The last actual game before Wasteland 2 from inxile was Bard's tale in 2004. The rest was nothing I'd play or even heard of. So they basically only recently produced Wasteland 2 and if I had to pick 1 out of this list NOT to play: Pillars of Eternity Fallout: New Vegas Alpha Protocol Wasteland 2 Yeah, sorry Wasteland 2 but you gotta go. Oh also, those other 3 had Josh in the credits. Yeah I'm a fan as he's actually produced great games. And actually just created a memorable RPG from SCRATCH. You also talk about "money grabbing", the only money grabbing I'm seeing is from inxile honestly. Torment kickstarter so soon after Wasteland? Yeah.. xD However. I'm sure even you will agree that the fact that we now have Pillars NEXT to getting Torment soon is just better for us all And we'll simply have to agree to disagree on inxile being "more professional"

Sweet lord, news about the World of Darkness IP being freed from CCP is SO FREAGIN SWEET. I'm not sure who asked who when it comes to Paradox + Obsidian making a WoD game but..... SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!!! To think this might actually happen... I can't think of anything better than Obsidian working on a World of Darkness game. NO game couild get me more hyped. -

Can confirm, PotD playthrough as well. Galvino's workshop seems to be bugged somehow. I think it's either leaving and returning or some save/load kind of thing. Here's my pic: What I did was load a savegame before I entered the house. Then I simply NEVER save/loaded the entire time I was in there. All mobs were normal (aka killeable). The mobs were NOT "initially" hurt in my playthrough. But perhaps I wasn't "bugged enough" -

While it's probably not a fix. Whenever I had an issue with Pillars, all I had to do was go to my temp folder ( %TEMP% ). Then locate the Obsidian folder and delete it. If you're scared, simply doing a windows "clean-up" will probably clear the temp folder for you. This fixed every issue for me when playing the game (though I only came across 2 or 3). I still cringe when realizing we almost had an Alien RPG. Hopefully the sales are good and we won't need to hear about those things any longer Though I'd love to see another Kickstarter to be sure anyway. -

Blunt initial impression (simply starting the game and creating a character): Love the music, disliked that music suddenly "stops" when you press "New Game" (which is usually the first step next to options). This removed some of the initial "wow", for me personally Was probably done as a go between for actually starting a game (different music?). Not sure if you've already decided on a specific intro song, but if I can make a suggestion: Make it brazen! (no, not the skunk anansie song ). Concerning options: I noticed the ingame menu has a more detailed resolution menu (adjust refresh rate etc), please include that in the menu outside the game. Small feature request: please include a "borderless windowed" mode if not too much trouble (you will be thanked). Character creation: OPTIONS, ALL THOSE OPTIONS, THANK YOU!!! Felt right at home moving through all the different choices. Unfortunately it also contains the thing I disliked most in the game so far: The character model heads (bodies are fine, so is the hair). As a rank (good to not so good): Godlike, Dwarf, Orlan, Human, Elves, Aumaua. Aumaua look weird (male) and the female elf looks so sad it made me cry a lil. It's mostly the eyes I think? Unsure. Currently I like the male death godlike model the most not due to the "darkness effects" but because the "worst" parts of the face (eyes) have been covered completely. This causes me to believe that there's an actual person underneath the "mask". Dwarf (male/head1) is also pretty good, believable for sure. I've tried making a screenshot and noticed that zooming in, some other heads look pretty ok. So perhaps you need to zoom out a little to get a better idea? Minor thing: I'm also currently missing a way to get back to the main screen back from the character creation screen. When I actually came into the game: AWESOME, tears of nostalgia for sure! Feels a bit like some Arcanum mixed with Baldur's Gate so far. Arcanum for the slightly melancholic music with the chirpy birds from Baldur's Gate The 2D visuals are out of this world, in a class of its own surpassing both by a large margin. Looking forward to what else I'll see. After clicking I noticed that the team formation was a bit wide (looking at player 1 vs player 2). You can see the correct formation when clicking on stairs or a door. After noticing you can create custom formations (cool!!!) placing people closer together does not help. In fact selecting a straight line (formation 3 and 4 I believe) shows people still seperated (not a straight line). I'm sure it's fixable but wanted to make a note of it The only actual bug I've seen so far is inside the inventory screen ("i") where weapons a shields are not correctly placed on the model. All in all, looking forward to seeing future changes. Keep up the great work, no regrets backing this project! -
This is the perfect opportunity for Obsidian to knock on CCP/Whitewolf's door and ask if it's a good time to parley about another Vampire/Werewolf game. Obsidian's World of Darkness, yes that'd be something I'd like to see

I hope they will consider moving the K badge next to the backer badge instead of below it. I don't like vertically stacked badges... Or even let us turn them on/off as we wish. Definitely agree we should be able to toggle them. To the suggestion pile with this thread! No rush though, more important things await outside the forums!

Woohoo!!! Already was slightly spoilered during one of the previous updates haha. But the trailer is what made everything worth it!! As others have also started to notice, this game together with star citizen is what I have the highest hopes for- 488 replies
