  1. Well to be fair you do run him through later. Interesting twist there. As for your PC being a parent, eh, I can't see much use of that unless in the story your progeny or you becomes some sort of leader or key figure.
  2. Well took down Teramorphous a couple of times, loot was meh to be honest, but was a fun fight. Seems grenades make him submerge.
  3. Was wondering how many Internet Sardaukar would show up here. I'm not a big fan of spiders, do get a bit weirded out by them a fair bit. But hopefully people can mod them out if they like, or just not bother as, others have said, they're boring opposition. I'd like an RPG where I don't have to fight weird mutated versions of arachnids or insects from our current reality
  4. Well, at least doing that you won't let baseball put you to sleep Today has been a great day with clients apparently ignoring my efforts to help resolve their issues.
  5. Yep. Not even sure why people are expecting it to be different for characters that matter that much, but oh well the Great Crusade will never end and all that.

  7. Because this is a serious and pressing issue in this modern era of gaming, one must not marginalize a key demographic that has been criminally underserved in gaming over the years.
  8. Well, there's an overreaction. I can imagine Obsidian people reading this thread and either laughing or getting a headache.
  9. Well, there could be some race the Reapers made into soulless metal husks as part of some first experiment.
  10. I feel worse that that is pretty much my daily routine.
  11. Ah, so you're along the lines of 'relationships' Avellone was mentioning being interested in exploring, a lot more interesting than NPCs being a) your buddy b) love interest, heh. Seems bizarre how dogged the interest in this is, with this Steven Segal-esque topic in the forum. Maybe we should just make a thread saying "Interpersonal relationships" where we can all....essentially say "Obsidian shouldn't screw up!" together.
  12. Heh, pretty much. Although I suspect if there's much smug passive-aggressiveness as a result, more likely from Merin's lot than the other. I forget after all these threads, but what are the reasons people want NPCs to love them again ?
  13. Sounds like they might put a couple in, just for completeness sake but his real excitement is at exploring other types of relationships. Then I guess these people can get their emotional fulfillment from it (and be smug about it, I suppose). Sadly, it is not enough to put a bullet in this topic.
  14. Well, if you're not bland odds are these days you've offended someone or some group of people, it seems so anyway. Of course, whether or not the writer should really care all that much about that is a better quesiton.
  15. If they do put in romances, they need to make sure there's low Intelligence or low Charisma options, heh. Would at least make the silly thing funny.
  16. He doesn't have to like every aspect of the games, I suppose. Not that many with romance (well not many period, to be honest, heh) either, and it's not exactly some sort of pre-requisite to post on this sub-forum or the forums at all.
  17. Bit of a stretch to call it romance in AP, as well, especially Sie's, heh.
