  1. Not like it matters all that much. It is just the Codex, heh. Ah well Zora beat me to it.
  2. Seems a lot of butthurt about people being butthurt over Bioware, as usual. Corporate loyalty is something, I suppose. Is the Codex saying DA:I sucks objectively or that it sucks in their opinion. Weird to say it is invalid if the latter, and you seem to take it as the former.
  3. Riding transit it is funny how people disrespect their ears. Can clearly hear Leper Messiah through one's earbuds, heh.
  4. Well, I enjoyed Shadowrun Returns, might as well kick in.
  5. Wonder if they did ID them via some other means but the publicly given reason is just a thin cover. Seems simple enough. Maybe his head din't blow up due to the ammunition ? My understanding was that grievous wounds on unarmoured people result from hollow points, fully jacketed rounds just punch through (proves a minor problem, thank you Black Hawk Down). Does strike the concrete.
  6. Forgot I have Blackguards.

  8. Implying defamation of a group ? Broken Sword taught me that was used to condemn the Templars.
  9. I know it's not literally what he said but my interpretation (and since he's a postmodernist douche, my experience is all that matters) of his tweets is a very clear "I am not Charlie because they had it coming." Hm ok, I was just willing to give him (and most people) benefit of the doubt before marking them as being backhanded terrorist fans I have no doubt he may think that though, it is a line one has to walk when trying to disagree with the JeSuisCharlie stuff (f**king hashtags...)
  10. Don't think McIntosh is supporting the killers, the whitelivesmatter thing doesn't even work though - standing up for Hebdo means you...what, don't care about Boko Haram's rampage shortly afterward? What's funny is, I doubt his activism leaves a touchscreen.
  11. http://www.gog.com/game/grim_fandango_remastered?pp=cb4e5208b4cd87268b208e49452ed6e89a68e0b8 GF remake up for pre-order. Double Fine finished a project!
  12. So we will get propaganda and misinformation from the Blue Team now ?
  13. Not quite sure the examples are comparable, Somalia in 92, perhaps - though that country was shattered thoroughly at the point. Oddly, the Marines present calmed the city (and the US may or may not have inflamed things via TOW missile, anyway). But wasn't implying they'd get the roses and hugs, necessarily, but that there wouldn't be a simmering insurgency they need to combat. I would hope BH is not popular with Nigerians, but I suppose if they were that changes things. As for tackling them outside, a military approach could work. Just have to hope you kill a lot before they are driven underground. But at that point they won't be getting audacious as they are and starting to threaten neighbouring countries. That and seeing one of these kill crazy African militias run up against a proper military is something I've always wanted to see.
  14. Not sure they would need to secure that many people. The resident populace may not be very hostile to a foreign force that has come to kill Boko Haram. Long term that is the solution needed and has to be done by Nigerian forces, but that should be a bit easier if Boko Haram can be battered enough. Will be a hard campaign though, have to make sure they can't flee to other countries. But theory at this point.
  15. Thanks for pointing that out, I would have never guessed..... I should use more smiley's. And I know people who turned 30, years ago, I have not noticed any fundamental changes neither mentally nor physically. Guess age is just a number after all. Well if you got that, your riposte doesn't really work all that well. Listening to experiences can't hurt, at the very least it gives you an impetus to learn about the material in depth enough to disprove it. *nod*
  16. Yeah but everything changes PERMANENTLY. So ceasing to be 30 is no help
  17. Glad I have none of you as Steam friends, malware vectors all of you!
  18. And what is wrong with voodoo priestesses ? Lady Shambala is worth every penny.
  19. Or just do it half and half with water (or even more towards the water side). I do that with pretty much all juice. Drinking water straight all the time gets rather boring, after all.
  20. Rather amazing this has been going on this long, isn't it.
  21. Not sure Boko Haram is so much 'terrorism' as insurgency at this point. They're about 10,000 strong or so and launch major ground attacks, in addition to bombings. A military approach can help cull them down to, unfortunately, terrorist attacks alone. But unlikely to kill as many at that point.
  22. Good that you got better. Meningitis is no joke.
  23. They are planning a sequel, I think. I never did get a good ending in that game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/idgi/consortium-0/posts/954416
