Are there zombies in this game?
Intelligent zombies? I knew that would happen sometime by eating all those braiiiiiins!
-
Terrorists
Political leaders never follow the people's will, pal.
-
Mass Effect!
I've nothing against the general look of the Turians, but Garrus' face (the Volus too) had very low-res textures.

Terrorists
Except the majority of the Turks don't want EU membership. Surely we have to ask the people about such decisions, too, btw? Just sayin'.
-
Movies you have seen recently
Insomnia. The Norwegian version. Is it normal you Nordics start touching stranger woman as you wish?
-
Mass Effect!
Diablo is a whole genre on it's own, I'd call it Hack & Slash RPG (not Action RPG).

Epic releases UE3 as freeware
Cool stuff, downloaded it a few days ago already. Haven't installed it though. I think I'll spend my time more with the Dragon Age toolset.

Dragon Age story/plot discussion
Anyone want to share some pros/cons over the Human or Dwarf noble Origin respectively? I'm undecided which one I should play first.

Dragon Age DLC
Does the standard retail Edition actually come with some free DLC? Guess not. But that's no big deal. You pay for a lengthy and finished game, and pay more if you want some extra stuff. I don't think I need that DLC to complete the DA experience, so I just don't buy it.

European Union
Turkey has a long way to go before they're ripe to join the EU. Otherwise, typical British EU scepticism. Be glad you're in the EU, because you depend on it very.

Mass Effect!
No, Deus Ex was a lacklustre Shooter and no RPG at all. It was however the combination of several features that leveraged it into greatness.

Dragon Age story/plot discussion
so, what do people think of DA, compared with say ME or BG series? Is it one of the better Bio games, or rather disappointing?

Are 'violent' games really violent?
Yes, I understand that you're a wimp that faints when seeing some blood.
-
AP collector's or limited Edition (?)
That's up to Sega I suppose.

Are 'violent' games really violent?
I have played violent games since commadore 64 and saw my first horror slasher when I was 7 or so years old. When I was 23 I went to a CPR class and nearly fainted when they showed us pictures of real injuries and how to treat them. Fantasy and reality are two different things. And what has that to do with what I said?

Modern Warfare 2 PC will not have dedicated servers
PC gaming won't die as long as there's Blizzard or Valve around.
-
Mass Effect!
Bargain of the day: Mass Effect is available for EUR 7,49 on Steam.

What Are You Playing Now?
I learned that the German Version of DA had a production failure and is postponed now, so I had to order the UK version. Though I don't think I'll get it before Monday.
-
What Are You Playing Now?
Guess I'm the only one who doesn't play Dragon Age (yet).
-
So who's making the soundtrack?
Any chance we get to listen to the main theme as a free download? So that we just get an idea about the mood.
-
Are 'violent' games really violent?
Don't think gory and brutal video games make you violent, but if you play too much of that crap, it may desensitize you, amking you an emotional cripple. Can't say the same thing about listening music or reading books.

Demon's Souls anyone?
No chance. It's from the Japanese developer "From Software", and their target audience was Japan (hence PS3 only). Anyway, through some luck I learned that Amazon.de is selling the PS3 for 238,90 EUR. I got weak and ordered it, so I just might pick up Demon's Souls as well.

Dragon Age story/plot discussion
Nahh. Codex gives mostly head to Fallout and Torment.

Dragon Age story/plot discussion
Dragon Age should keep me busy for the whole November. Now I only need the actual game. And are people seriously reading these "professional" reviews? Eurogamer pissing and moaning around? Who gives a flying ****?

Mass Effect!
Have you played Uncharted 2? Oh god no! I'd rather have all combat played out by having kart races. No I haven't, but I once played Uncharted 1 and it's combat wasn't very memorable or special or anything.
