I stopped reading there.

Finally beat my first demon. Getting there was a pain in the ass, but the boss itself was cake-easy.

Dragon Age 1.02 patch has been released.

Isn't it kinda strange that the game is only 2 months away from shipping and there's not a single hands-on preview, gameplay trailer or even an official website ready? Are they hiding something, or is it just the genius that is the Sega marketing department?

I wasn't myself in London, but my father was a couple times there and always alluded that people were pretty friendly there.

For the next DA I wish that they make Denerim more crowded in the sense that there are more quests to do. It would also be nice to go a bit deeper into the lore of elves, and the struggle with their human enslavers. There's some serious drama that can be exploited.

I played Demon's Souls today a bit and I must say this is quite an interesting game. I made it to the bridge where the dragon attacks, wanted to speed run through it but was encircled by the stupid watches. Deado man. Again. I can't quite say how many times I already died and how much I sweared, but for some reason I always come back to it again. I would love to see an Obsidian RPG utilizing such a combat system. Something that is not based on pure number crucnhing, but also involves a different learing curve for each enemy.

While the new AvP looks very good, it may turn out to be just another Rogue Warrior or Shell Shock. It's from Rebellion, so I'm wary about the actual quality of the game.

Well it's a bit since I played it, but it was mostly an okay Hack & Slash. Character creation is straight forward, and you get into the action immediately. The world is also without sections or loading screens, the killing feels very good (though not as satisfying as Diablo), the interface is clean and easy to pick up.... Quests are, well, dull, but they handle their function. Well, I can't think of anything that was bad or bothered me about the game, just that it was one of the better Diablo clones. Though I never finished it, because it lacked the addicting nature and brilliance of a Diablo. Overall I can recommend it if you're into hack & slash games, just don't expect that you're actually gonna finish it. Edit: I see you can get the game for 10 pounds at Direct2Drive. Edit2: There's also a playable demo to try before buy.

I just found out that Stalker: Call of Pripyat is out here since a month or so. And reviews are very positive, stating that it's the best part in the Stalker series. Incline incline...

This could easily escalate into a huge healthcare problem.
