Movies you have seen recently
Harry Potter and Twilight: Relevant literature, eh? I rather wanna see kids reading real books than this rubbish.

Movies you have seen recently
People here like a story about magic and wizardry? Shocking! Must be some American thing then to dig teens as wizards.

British Politics
Don't worry, everything will be fine and Britain will regain her full power again! This gentleman will make it sure!

Heavy Rain Tech Demo
This. I mean isn't it refreshing to play a ****ed up individual instead of some wannabe-hero like the collar-grabbing Sheppard or the smartassed Nathan Drake?

Games you are looking forward to
It's a friggin' Cowboy-game, how lame is that? Makes me even less interested than Sports games.

What Are You Playing Now?
I'm playing Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and I'm actually liking it much, as opposed to Double Agent, which made me despise Splinter Cell.

this just in: EA wants to ruin Dead Space
Yup, dudes slowly approaching you while you have the choice to either move back or stand still and shoot. It's so old school yet we still see that **** in modern games. But hey, I give DS2 the benefit of doubt. Perhaps they don't screw up the PC controls this time?

Obsidian, switch engines!
PC sale number don't even get tracked in the US anymore. Then some idiot like Pachter comes in and says PC gaming is dead, and the stupid publishers believe it (because the "experts" get paid for their professional assertions, so they're obviously right).

I would like to see a Steampunk RPG
Steampunk, in most cases, sucks. Just like Arcanum sucked big time. Why even bother?

Assasin's Creed 2
AC3 in pre-WW1 setting would make perfect sense. Though they would have to get rid of the stupid on-the-roof-jumping.

Heavy Rain Tech Demo
It's time for a little necro... New Hand-on previews at Kotaku and Eurogamer. "At the moment, it's fascinating and compelling, despite the heavy, sometimes-cloying atmosphere and sense of sadness, despair and alienation. Heavy Rain is racing through virgin territory before you have even finished learning how to steer it, and whether or not it proves to be a great success, it already stands apart." Also don't miss some new screenshots. B00bs! Some more b00bs? David Duchovny?

What Are You Playing Now?
Although I own myself a PS3 and think it's a terrific concole, I only consider MGS4 to be a must-have in that list. Uncharted, while entertaining, is not the kind of game I'd get a PS3 for. What I'm really looking forward however are HEAVY RAIN and AGENT. That's where the PS3 will shine.

Obsidian, switch engines!
It astounds me that back in the ol' days NWN sould like 2 million units. Today, a typical PC game sells like 200k units.

Hey, it's a new AP blog!
She also had a voice like a man. Pidesco finds ladies with low voices cute I wonder?

Dragon Age: Tactics
TW was far from being crap. It sure as hell was better than Gothic 3 or Oblivion!

Hey, it's a new AP blog!
Were those people in the video supposed to be funny or what?

What Are You Playing Now?
I played the Dante's Inferno demo today. Boy it's just such a contrast to Demon's Souls with all it's dumbed down combat and button mashing.

this just in: EA wants to ruin Dead Space
Dead Space lacked creativity, and it was too predictable. So I doubt my interest can be reinvigorated with the sequel.

A question on digital distribution.
Yup, in the case of Dragon Age, retail is the best version to go. It costs just as much as the DD version, but comes with extra codes, plus installation from the disk is still faster than downloading all those 15 Gbytes! As for my personal experience, I use a lot Steam and I love it. Haven't tried any other DD outlets yet.

Oh Look There
Yeah, weren't they saying something akin about Colinial marines? Something along the lines "If AvP sells, we will release CM afterwards as well".
-
Oh Look There
Wouldn't it be awesome if Sega gets a new key executive who decides Obsidian can resume working on Aliens? Ahh....wishful thinking.

Demon's Souls anyone?
I bought it from an online auction, it was the Chinese version.

A question about future hardware needs for New Vegas...
Dude, you worry too much about details. I'm sure New Vegas will run great even on a 8800GT.

Dragon age discussion
Dragon Age had way too much grinding though. I wonder what Bioware meant when they said "A game without combat at all would be interesting". Are they trying to pull a Heavy Rain? Could you imagine a Bioware game that isn't an RPG?
