  1. Don't blame me, I was asking about AP DRM removal patch and got offered some subpar rental online service Of course I got into berserk mode Back to topic, I just got Platinum Trophy for Final Fantasy XIII, with about 150 hours played, now playing White Knight Chronicles International and soon I'll start playing Hyperdimension Neptunia and Atelier Rorona... Hopefully I get soon my Alpha Protocol by mail, but I am affraid my PC is to ****ty for this game... and cba to upgrade to new PC, when I am actually purchasing like 1-2 PC games per year... down from 15-20 due to crappy business model and customer treatment in the PC games industry...
  2. If your son wants to play AP he has to buy a seperate copy one way or the other. No he has not... I just give him my copy and he can play it while I am playing another game, without anyone else than me, having the final say... That's called in civllized world Fair Use! But that's not what the publishers want you to do. That's why we got DRM in the first place. Thankfully not all publishers what that, therefore we have such free market example here, where I can say big **** YOU, to the publishers who put anticonsumer stuff onto their products, and choose publishers who do not treat their fans and customers like thieves and scummbags... these publishers earned lot of money from me last few years, while Steam did not earn a single penny from me... Isn't it beautiful to have a choice when you want to enjoy some non-essential stuff and entertainment?

  4. You can not give your game to your son from your account to his account without them allowing you to do it... That is Digital Right Management...
  5. Your "requirements" are playing the game. What makes it different from playing a Steam version vs. retail version? Same product. Only that the former is a lot cheaper. Hence, the customer pays for the cheaper offering. That's how a market really works. But of course some people are stubborn... My requirements are no DRM... If a company does not offer this, I will not play their games, that's simple, there is enough competition on the market, which still offers this option... Games are not essential to my life. If I will not play for example New Vegas, because of it's Steamworks DRM, I do not die, I do not end up ill or whatever else, I just play another game, which will bring to me same enjoyment... My money might be infinite for this kind of pleasure, but my time is not... If something offers me more convenience for the same price, why should I bother to invest in less convenience?
  6. Me as a customer has a requirements. If a company does not fullfill my requirements, it has lost me as a customer, and does not deserve my money... That's how free market works, you know...
  7. America is named after Amerigo Vespucci, so it might be more of an Italian thing. wasn't Amerigo Vespucci actually a portuguese?
  8. I don't buy second hand
  9. Yes, there is a patch that removes DRM. Just be careful do download the right one (US vs. EU). YAY... Omw to my closest shop Thanks for the info! You can get it for 13? currently on Steam. No thank you, I rather pay 25EUR for the boxed version, which now does not depend on some third party service to be playable...

  11. About Alpha Protocol. Did Sega patched the online activation out already or not? They promised, that they will do it at one time in the future, and I am still waiting for this to finally purchase the game.
  12. If you grind them up into a paste with some basil and olive oil they make a surprisingly tasty pesto. You can give out contraceptive pesto on a party and be safe the next day :mindblown: Sounds like a solid plan, and blessed by a lawyer. Nothing can go wrong now, let's party.
