That describes pretty much every single WRPG I played after KOTOR II.... with the exception of the grind... which makes you to throw away the game even sooner...

While Dark Souls was made in Japan so I guess by definition it is a jRPG, I've never thought of it as such. It feels so much more like a western RPG. heh, last time I played a WRPG which resembled Dark Souls, was Wizardry 8... after that everything made was piss easy excuse of a game... game as this would never been make in the west in the first place...

Mugen Souls was released on PS3. How is gungnir? I can't seem to find the FFIII on the PSP...that's an absolute buy if I could find it. Didn't even know they put it on the PSP. As far as I know FFIII was released on PSP only in Japan, but I heard it is with english and japanese voiceover. I do not know if it is true though :/ EDIT: AAAnd you have to tell me more about Mugen Souls!!! I liked few other Compile Heart games, so I am thinking about getting this one, but still would like more info... THX

Fox News says... It must be true!

Heh, looks like there are still people believing game reviews

Yeah but according to Core Rules, when doing point buy character generation (which is required for PFS which I played), minimum ability score you can pick is 7. So it would be little bit hard for me to see roleplaying a character with INT score of 3. And underperforming high school student is very relative term as well, because what is considered for underperforming in one culture might be very stupid person in another culture and pretty smart in another culture...

Yeah, bless the OE and Chris Robert and other people going for Kickstarter to make something we would remember more than 2 minutes after rolling the credits...

This isn't a bug, this is how the game is. It annoyed me how we had cool weapons and on cut scenes we had mother****ing Avengers and the crappy pistol. This happened in Mass Effect 2 only like three times, all other cut scenes had the weapons we had equipped. Are you serious? What a bunch of clownshoes to allow something like this into the final release and not patch it yet :D

Thank you for recommendations. The problem now we have is that the guys are to much smash happy, today they got facerolled by Mimic encounter in the Beginner Box Bash Tomes encounter, because they did forgot to speak to the woman after they have healed from unconsciousness and wanted to kill the cat That's why I am little bit afraid to introduce them to Master of the Fallen Fortress because of the Bat Swarm and one or two other encounters which could be to much deadly to them Same with the Hollow's Last Hope module, very interesting module, which I have almost whole converted from OGL to PFRPG, but there are few encounters, that could go very wrong with them Meanwhile I played First Steps 1 and 3 so I think they are pretty good mix of everything like you said, but I bet, the biggest problem will be the Encounter in the Cheliax Lady bedroom FS3 looked little bit easier to me, but maybe it was more powerful party Thanks again

I'd let Bioware do the technical things - world building, textures, sound design, etc., while Obsidian handles the story and characters with collaboration on gameplay. I would let current EAWare to stay away from this project as far as possible, that would bring us the best final outcome

What is the weather down there in november? I have to spent two weeks of vacation before the end of the year, and I rather spent it somewhere warm -
eew, just the thinking about PE being available on Origin exclusively published by EA made me to throw up... And Day 1 DLC... It is no content, its a customer ripoff... I rather wait 6 months for a proper content with which you spent 40+hours for double price of the DLC... If EA would be behind this kickstarter I doubt the game would raise more than 100k... I know I would rather quit gaming than to pay EA single dollar again... Glad you are not being serious... but still I am feeling so much dirty, just thinking about that...

The only reason to make games like CoD is that rehashing same **** for the 7th time is cheap as **** and stupid sheep are willing to buy even big steaming pile of turd if it is marketed properly RPGs sell like hotcakes when marketed properly as well... Look at FFXIII and DA2 as an example... both not topnotch quality games, but with awesome marketing and they sold a lot of copies... Market wants these games, but they are little bit more difficult to make, so they prefer to make BF25 instead of KoToR3

Because it is a limited audience. Seriously, we have 2 billion FPS games a year because that is what the market dictates. Its not what market dictates, its what EA and Activision dictates tens of millions of pledges on various kickstarters this year shows pretty much what market really wants...

it is the same, why not to experiment with exploring new possibilities and stuck to the old "safe" routine...

You know that EULAs are in some countries not legally enforceable?

You know, that kind of thinking is the reason we have 2 billion FPSs each year and almost no Space Sim in 10 years produced...
