Well most of the JRPG fans have no issues or even like that kind of mechanic. I have spent 750 hours on Star Ocean 4 alone for all the trophies. Even though the story sucked, the combat alone was good enough to keep my attention. And there was some kind of grind as well. But it is possible to beat the game without going for more than 20 Battles, if you pick up the proper chests for loot.

OK. I have played little bit with FoV settings, and car setups. In Assetto, the car setup is so crazy important, compared to anything I have played before... After I've changed the tire pressure to be higher, and changed camber angles in the front, I made 1 lap 2 seconds faster O.o, which meant easy win in two attempts... So after almost 2 hours of playing, I got 6 gold medals already. Probably 274 more to go Anyway, to make my Playseat and TV combination more realistic with Field of View setting, I have to move it probably 40 - 60 more centimeters to the front... that means removing few shelves from under the TV or buy completely new TV stand I'll try the shelve solution first...

And **** hit the fan in Belgium Overwatch, FIFA 18 and CS:GO have to remove lootboxes, because they are in violation of Belgium's gambling law, or face Fines or even Prison!!! *drops jaw* EDIT: Also someone in comments pointed out, that the official statement also calls FIFA (the organization not the game) to take a responsibility and force license holders to not include lootboxes in their games.

Ok, as a Platinum Owner of Gran Turismo 5, I can officialy confirm, that I suck at Assetto Corsa. I am to slow to beat even novice career races on Gold. I will need a lot of training. And I will probably end up with buying Karting Gloves to have a better grip on my G29... My purse is affraid and cries in a corner already...

So I today got 3 games in mail. Yakuza 6, Assetto Corsa Ultimate and Atelier Lydie and Suelle. My backlog just got bigger :'( Few days ago I started Torchligth, and I am having fun. So these three have to wait few more days before I finish Torchlight and Starcrawlers.

That is the reason, why I have recommended FFIX as a first jRPG to try. Even my girlfriend, which never played any other game than Mahjong, got pretty far in the game. Story is imo interesting, can hold your attention, and the graphics still looks good, despite being game from 2000.

Final Fantasy IX, Suikoden I, random Persona, Tales of Symphonia, Ni No Kuni, etc... In that particular order :-P

If I understood it correctly, the authority said also, that the 6 other publishers should reconsider selling any kind of lootboxes to underage kids/teens. The way how it works, does not break the law per se, but the "carrot and stick" in their game works very similar to slot machines or other gambling stuff, and they do not like it. What's your setup? The game's biggest problem is that some classes are simply leaps and bounds ahead of others. My main is Hacker, and I run around with Prototype, Smuggler and Engineer. To be honest, my biggest issues are still with gear drops. Mobs are sometimes ahead of my equipment, even if I backtrack some side missions. My Smuggler died in last two missions because of that. Prototype and Engineer are pretty bad. My advice would be to grab a Soldier to tank. Get him an 80% heavy shield, a legionnaire heavy armor and the accessory from early in the storyline (from the fight with the robot dogs) and go for Flare + Bouncing Betty early on, then Meat Shield. Bouncing Betty and your hacker viruses have great synergy. Just watch the world burn. Errr, eh, or rather the enemies. Interesting. From my point of view, engineer is pretty useful. I have all my ability points in Constructor Tree, and the small helpers can wreak pretty big havoc, if used correctly depending on enemies setup. With Prototype, well, I more or less agree, but I do not like to minmaxing best classes with best abilites, and he can sometimes do pretty good tanking.

Started my interupted run of Starcrawlers. Still continue to go the "ethical hacking" route It's fun game, but sometimes the fights can get pretty boring and long, if you do not upgrade your gear properly. I was lucky with weapon drops, but not so much luck with armour and shields :/ Hope the fun will last until the end :D

I think that might be 386DX-33 SX was clocked at 25MHz without turbo? Don't really remember that anymore. I think only DX had that button, just don't take that for granted. It's pretty long time ago :D

Wow, and the luxury of a DX as well. Not sure I could justify the cost premium for going DX over SX, personally. The extra raw power was worth it! It even runs The Elder Scrolls Arena without hiccups!

After a long while, I have finished another game. Blind walkthrough of Tales of the Abyss. To be honest, I was overwhelmed by the amount of the text, which was thrown at me, even for jRPG standards. In the end, I still have enjoyed the game, and spent almost 80 hours while playing it (3 months of real time due to crazy work schedule). Now I just need to think what to play next. I will probably continue with Hard West or Starcrawlers, which I had to put away for few months due to bug introduced by Unity engine to the newest build of the game. Or maybe, it might be a time, to finally finish Pillars of Eternity, now that all patches are out Edit: Well actually it was 2 and half month
