  1. Labadal, or anyone else have you played Dark Rose Valkyrie? I completely missed the release of the game in the summer. One shop nearby still has one copy. Any recommendations?
  2. Quite so, quite so. I find romance works better when things happen in your head or in the background. For example: Two attractive individuals travel together, so you would assume that they bond and develop affection for each other. It mostly unfolds in your head, perhaps supported by a few good moments onscreen. But when you try to force that whole relationship / process onscreen into a text-tree conversation? Cringe ensures. And that's why think JRPGs are much better at presenting relationships/romances. Every player finds it's own way how to interpret the dialogues between protagonists. Look at Tales of Zestiria as a later example. Lot of people seen there gay relationship between two of the protagonists and lot people have seen the same two guys having romantic relationships with other two females in the party.
  3. Romance is ok, if it is incorporated properly into the gameplay and the relationship is well written and complements the story. The bang simulator for furries, what Bioware calls romance. You can see better written plot in some Brazzers flicks...
  4. Hmm an isometric RPG in a world like Wolfenstein? I would love that. Will never happen though ( Speaking of which, some months ago, Square Enix was "giving away" some older IPs for reimagining. I wish someone (Obsidian) would pick up the Anachronox and make a proper RPG sequel.
  5. Cuphead preorder on GOG. I do not think, it's game genre for me, but I really love the art style ) https://www.gog.com/news/preorder_cuphead
  6. If that DLC becomes popular I fear publishers might start killing employees just to sell DLC. Don't give them any ideas. As long as it's only devs and not fans it can't be as damaging. Still more damaging than some suit from upper management :-P
  7. I'm surprised this hasn't happened yet. As others said before: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wheel_of_Time_(video_game) The consensus on it is, that it was always very underrated game.
  8. It was sarcasm, I really don't want to be on the same level lol Well, you probably haven't had an encounter with Volo (happy you :D), else you would know that, this was sarcasm as well
  9. Lol. The more DRM, the more reason to say "Shove it in your singularity" to the publisher...
  10. "I'm so cool now. Yay. " No.
  11. Yakuza Kiwami Launch Trailer
  12. Oh noes! Where did the CAPS form the topic title go? :'(
  13. Unfortunatelly I am not very found of Fist of the North Star series. So I do not know what to expect from this game.
  14. First Yakuza Kiwami 2 Trailer released today. https://youtu.be/QpXgE8Iqgho
  15. Yup, blaming others for peoples own faults is in our DNA. I would be surprised, if someone in EA would ever acknowledged their fault.
  16. I think there is enough material on his books to make a Verneverse. Just out of curiosity, is his work now completely in public domain?
  17. Caved in and bought Mortal Kombat XL. Finished the story mode already and having little bit of fun playing it around.
  18. Yakuza Kiwami 2 leak hit the internet *drools* Made with Yakuza 6 engine. *jumps around happy* http://www.siliconera.com/2017/08/24/yakuza-kiwami-2-ps4-leaked-will-made-using-yakuza-6-engine/
  19. Hmm, I would love to see Clive Barker's Imajica. But I am not really sure, which genre would be best for it. But I do not think, I would want to see it as something Telltale's like.
  20. Well I do not have an AC at home. For two months in a year, it is kind of not needed. Temperature is here from -25°C in Winter to 40°C in Summer, and this year only three weeks of July and one week of August was crazy hot. But when I turn on my PC and PS4, it raises the temperature in my "gaming" room by 2-4 degrees. Soo I rather do something else than gaming :-P
  21. Currently having big break from gaming. Watching with my gf Star Trek Enterprise every day for more than a month. Last three episoded to go. And I am trying to play Atelier Rorona in between, but going very slowly. The crazy hot weather might be gone now, so I'll probably end up playing more games again.
  22. With all respect, that's crazy man... almost 100 games per year? You can't remember anything from that big pile of stuff thrown at your brain fro more than few minutes... Quality over Quantity here all year long, Playing 1 game per month or two makes me remember everything that happened in my games for dozens of years...
  23. Maybe they have a life and only want to play 1 game per year. I have a life and 3 out of 8 games which I have finished This year took me 100+ Hours to see the end credits... Gran Turismo 5 could be counted as 4th, because I spent 600-700 hours playing it over the course of 6 years. It's nothing wrong to play 1 game for 100 hours and enjoying it. And I rather play 1 good and long game than 5 ME:Andromeda-like abominations and be gone with them in 10 hours...
  24. Not sure if Larian will actually take the results too seriously. I was watching a news report by The Know which talked about the results and they said something like:"The results were interesting. Most people who filled out the survey prefer isometric over third person shoulder camera angles... but then again, look at the audience filling out the survey. That is something to consider." In other words, there's a certain niche audience flocking to the survey which isn't a very good thing. For example, I love playing rpg's but I prefer the over the shoulder camera angle but I don't care about filling out the survey. Should that be taken into consideration or should the opinion of my type of audience be shunned/discarded because we simply didn't fill out the service but continue to buy the games? Those are always important things lol Which is why internet surveys are hard to take seriously nowdays. If you care about your oppinion being heard, you should have filled the survey. Tens of thousands people filling out the survey is not niche audience by any means. It's same as voting. If you stayed at home and did not vote, your lost vote is completely irrelevant to the politicians, they care only to people who show them their support or voice their oppinions against them...
  25. With my luck, I would have bought 90 pinatas, to get anything that I would like. To get tyranny, I probably would need to open all other games first...
