  1. Except with 45 minute long cutscenes and someone interrupting you with a phone call every 5 minutes during gameplay. That's what good about them Jap games
  2. Just got Mortal Kombat X Platinum Trophy. Played it properly (no lazy ass grind strategies) so it took me 95 hours and 30 minus (+- some). Still missing one skin for Liu Kang. Need to do 213 special moves or 21 ranked wins to unlock him (I bet the special moves are much easier for me :D ), and then I can put the game to rest.
  3. This teaser is aimed only at the HC fans, who knows every detail of their previous games .
  4. You are right. They are nonsense :D
  5. We'll see how they will not interfere T3 with all kind of ****ty MTX :-P
  6. I do not know, if it is possible, the way you are describing it, but In new Firmware upgrade, they completely overhauled the family sharing features, so if hubby has own account, and you connect these two accounts, both should be able to use the same features of PSN and PS Plus. i have not tried it yet, so maybe someone might shed a little bit more light into this.
  7. Yup that was the article I was thinking about, thanks for correcting me. Is there any chance that the kotaku article I linked few posts earlier could be somehow forwarded to people responsible for gambling stuff in Belgium? It would be interesting to see official response on underage teenager spending 13000+ USD on MTX and lootboxes.
  8. Played 2 hour GT3 race of Project CARS in LeMans as a part of Multiclass World Endurance Championship. I have done few mistakes during the course, and because of that, I was more than half of the race in the last 3 positions of the GT3 grid. But due to my decision to go for pits only once and using full tank of gas (the pit stop took due to 130L tankage 1 minute and 45 seconds O.o), I have finished on first position with 16 second lead \o/ Also played little bit of Mortal Kombat XL. Still missing last trophy, but I have finished everything else the game has to offer, so not much motivation to go forward lately :/ I have played little bit of StarCrawlers again, but I encountered nasty crash in 1.0.3, where you are unable to finish one of the first Story Missions in the game, and you are not able to continue with the game. Thankfully the guys are already working on a patch, but it will take some time probably And I have also started a game of Eador: Genesis and slowly having fun with Tutorial mission For some reason, I am not very keen to finish it and I am just exploring all my territories and various towers. But it takes a lot of time :D Probably after I come back from my next business trip I just kill the last AI city, and continue with the story The last game, which I am currently playing is Final Fantasy Type-0. Still mixed bag of feelings with this game, but I love it more than hate. so far 6/10 from me on Mamoo's scale of awesomeness
  9. So far, it was unsucessful, because ESRB have released their statement, which says loot boxes are not gambling, and PEGI’s statement was little bit more neutral about it, so there is still hope. I would be happy to see AO rating on these games as well, but I somehow doubt, that it will happen without any kind of pressure from legislative bodies, especially when executive members of ESRB are also EA, Activision, I highly doubt, that they would willingly change only by themselves. Just look how these companies literally ****ed up with Chinese government, when they tried to enforce these companies by law, to make public the odds of winning for various prizes... You can read about it in this blog on Gamasutra: https://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RaminShokrizade/20171031/308600/How_the_ESRB_is_Promoting_Childrens_Gambling.php If it is to long to read, just search for a part starting with “Because you got a pretzel.”
  10. No they are not. Most F2P games with lootboxes have T ESRB or PEGI 12 rating. Some even lower. The belgian research was funded by universities, so it is not some bollocks research made by few guys like the one lawyer who wanted to ban GTA5. Also many european researches funded by government bodies have found no impact of violence in video games on population as general. Most of them have even found, that people playing violent games are less violent in real life, because these game allow them to let the "steam" off and be more relaxed in everyday life.
  11. The Belgian government published a study already, which has a lot of facts about how it is already legitimate health concern for minors.
  12. https://kotaku.com/meet-the-19-year-old-who-spent-over-10-000-on-microtra-1820854953 A confession of MTX addicted who started as a 13years old and spent 13000 USD on them.
  13. And this is how EA self-regulates the gambling mechanics in their games due to BF2 backlash. /sarcasm off https://www.astutegaming.com/single-post/EASPORTSUFC3BETA How could a single person still think, these greedy ****s can regulate themselves without government intervention, when they release just few days later a system, which is allegedly even worse than the BF2 p2w loot box ****... Not even 3 billion loss in shares did show them, this might not be the brightest idea to pull this **** again in such a short notice...
  14. Maybe your subconciousness is picturing you your secret wishes *wink wink*
  15. Well, in AAA world it is absolute non-sense, but when I was talking about it in other thread, I meant HBS, which are selfpublishing SR games, so they get all my money minus GOG cut from my purchase.
  16. My problem is I don't like Dark Souls or Doom like action. :/ And I love companion-based real-time rpg combat which is so rare now. Since I have no FF history, I'm just one of those who sees it as a stand-alone game. I've come to realize that my ability to like previous or future installments in a game series (after I've discovered/played whatever one, first) is very low so I just view all games like that now, part of a series or not. Borderlands 2 surprised me because I thought I'd find it really "meh" or "been there done that" like I usually do when I try a sequel or an older game in a series etc. but cases like that are really rare for me. The whole idea of putting out these kind of features in dribs and drabs and DLC's still annoys me however. But I guess I'm still glad it eventually gets put in. After Ignis DLC/this patch I'll probably put it down after Xmas, for another 4 months, and see what happens again. I think you might enjoy it even more after XMas, due to the free patch which will allow changing character mid-fight. For me well. I have not played it, and I have bought collector's edition. I am just so sad it went so far away from traditional FF, which I was expecting, that I have simple to no mood to play it at all
  17. EA lost $3.1billion in stock so far after Lootbox Gate hit the news. If this does not teach them to treat their customers respectfully, nothing will...
  18. I wish they would rather implement some sort of ATB. If I want some action, I play Dark Souls or Doom. I always bought FF games for the story and JRPG stuff. FFXV is now everything but JRPG Thankfully, theres is still Atelier, Tales of, Trails of and Neptunia, so I can still unleash some waifus to stomp enemies!
  19. Got all of them already. Thinking to buy the Deluxe Upgrade for HongKong, even though I do not need it, just to support the dev. I love the Shadowrun games.
  20. And that's what is killing indies on Steam. No ones bothered to go through all the garbage to search for amazing unknown games anymore. So the word of mouth does not have much chance to get generated...
  21. But Alien: Colonial Marines was Steam only release by Gearbox. How does it connects to GOG refund policy?
