  1. Mortal Kombat XI will be my most probable bet.
  2. @marelooke I stopped playing MMORPG's, when the first M has completely lost it's meaning. I loved vanilla WoW because it was Massive in every aspect after the release. From low level zones to 40-man raids. After it got slowly nerfed to mostly solo-play game in WotLK, I lost all interest and cancelled subscription, even though I had purchased Cataclysm, but never installed it. I really do not see a reason to play solo grindy RPGs and pay monthly subscription. 80% of the content in WoW, when I've played it was "produced" by our guild and our arch-enemies. I've played on Kungen's server and raided with him few times. He might not be the nicest person, but he was hell of a raid leader. I have never heard him say a word, everything in raid was coordinated with his chat macros.
  3. Final Fantasy IX Demon's Souls Baldur's Gate 2 Probably And in no particular order.
  4. Same here :-D Alhough the Sunless Sea really makes me itching to spend 4 EUR
  5. Why? Because my opinion differs from your opinion? I can give you a list of reasons why Return To Castle Wolfenstein doesn't hold a candle stick to the newer ones but you wouldn't lend an ear like an adult to consider those reasons anyway. So I'll spare myself the energy. Unless you're talking about the multiplayer, Return To Castle Wolfenstein is pretty horrible. I mean, it was okay back then... It's aged horribly if we're being honest. The newest Doom certainly isn't retro or retro like, unless you consider being "retro" as keeping the main character and enemies but changing/updating everything else to fit today's standards and players concept of mechanics. Or maybe you're saying it's retro because it's fast paced room to room gameplay which is the opposite if slow moving Doom III. Who knows at this point. But sure, as always, I have no idea what I'm talking about Doom 4 is retro, because it is nothing like Doom 3
  6. Well, with my growing backlog, I have to make sometimes tough decisions on what to buy
  7. Finaly caved-in and bought Nier:Automata for my neverending backlog :D
  8. Don’t be silly. Everybody knows it’s the work of Nazis from Dark Side of the Moon, who are brainwashing the masses through the delicate net of agents in the game development!!!
  9. Haha, the game which finally allows us to let free our evil twin out of the deepest regions of our soul https://www.gog.com/news/release_cultist_simulator Behold!!! Cultist Simulator has been released today
  10. @hurlshot I see. Well, I have two friends, who play it a lot. But I am not very aware of current MMO market, so I thought it's much younger game. They both started playing it only this winter.
  11. ESO looks to me pretty successful, even though the craze is long over.
  12. Actually, the biggest adcantage of most jRPGs, is their graphics, including Tales of, Persona, Dragon Quest, Battlechasers, etc... Not every game has to look hyperrealistic. If studio spends all their resources on ultra fidelity, there are no resources left for other elements of the game, and we are left with a trainwreck of a game, like Final Fantasy 15, which happened to be everything, but jRPG...Dragon Quest XI and Ni No Kuni 2 have already proven that Jrpg's can have rich graphics while also having amazing gameplay, these ones have put the rest to shame in both catagories in terms of Jrpg's in recent years. I would never want the genre to be boxed to one certain art style but rather evolve on the one they already use. Cel-Shading, for example, is my favotite art style, I much prefer that over photorealism or hyper-realism. Edit for bad English, English is not my strong suit. Unfortunatelly Ni No Kuni 2 is bad example. I loved 1st game, bit the second one is so easy, and with conjuction with open world design, it makes me fall asleep :'(

  14. For some reason, Pokèmon and controllable by touch in one sentence makes me feel very uncomfortable. *shivers*
  15. Honestly, the game looks nice and all, but I can't play an RPG that doesn't give you the ability to make decisions that alter the story. Unfortunatelly, games which do that for real an not just "cosmetically" are very few. :/
  16. Hmm that might be it. Most of the time, I have available only office or spaceship missions for the factions, which I am upgrading. But I am still sure, that even at level 29, which I am now, I have not discovered single scroll so far
  17. An Ars Technica article, debunking some of the ESRB bull****, that lootboxes aren't gambling. https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2018/05/op-ed-game-companies-need-to-cut-the-crap-loot-boxes-are-obviously-gambling/
  18. It's called RAGE 2
  19. Or maybe it's a case of bad game design
  20. There are only two things which could make me hyped. Yakuza 3,4,5 Remasters announced for the West, and new Tales of... game. I kind of feel numb lately to every single trailer, I've seen this year... Well with a small exception of Rage 2. But still not on the hype train with this one.
  21. Single player part of Star citizen. Man can say, it is spiritual successor to Wing Commander.
  22. I am either blind, or have not had single one of them yet :-/
  23. With the Engineer you may also get lucky and get some loot codes in random missions. Write them down and trade them at the black market. How do these looks like? The only thing which looked so far as a code was a letter with “OUROBOROS” written on it, and the guy at black market only said something and nothing happened.
  24. To bad. We'll see if I can get some loot in some safer sidemissions or get lucky with armor at the black market.
