  1. Nier: Automata had already possibility to purchase achievements if I catched that correctly from some video reviews. Thankfully not with real money. Quote from playstationtrophies.org "Trophies can be bought from trophy shop (accessible after completing Route A, B and C)..."
  2. You nailed it. With such a good story and crazy **** happening, you can forgive lot of flaws. All the Yakuza games are excellent at story telling.
  3. In other news, another "evil" EA move *sighs* https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/10/ea-shuts-down-fan-run-servers-for-older-battlefield-games/
  4. Gorky 17 is very nice gem, which I have completely missed when it was released, but thankfully it was bundled few years later with one Game Review Magazine, and enjoyed hell out of it!
  5. @Katphood Well Yakuza is by no means flawless game. But compares to everything else, I've seen this year it's unique, fresh and original game.
  6. Well, on the other hand, I am so ****ing happy, that Yakuza 0 is not another Open World Checklist Exploration Simulator , like every other ****ing game in 2016/17...
  7. Haloween Sale started on GOG. Also new games available for GOG Connect.
  8. Started to play Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for the first time. After the 1st mission I have somewhat mixed feelings about the game. I somehow do not like the combat system. We'll see how it goes in next cahpters and missions.
  9. In today's age if internet? I pretty doubt it. Thanks to oppinion bubble created by search engine algorithms, only extremes are atrracting the audience :-/
  10. Finished FFXII-Zodiac Age today. I have decided to go for minimum sidequests and get to the final boss as soon as possible. Still had to backtrack little bit to get some more XP, but I have defeated the boss as level 42. Still took me about 65hours. In a year or two, I will go for more in-depth walkthrough to get the Platinum trophy. And almost finished MKXL. Missing only the last trophy, to get Platinum. Need to grind three more levels, which I am currently to lazy to do :-D
  11. Cheapest you can get it here is 49.99 EUR for PC and 59.99 Eur for consoles :-/ even GOG asks 49.99 :-/
  12. Funny thing is, that they rely on tax dollars, and still avoid paying taxes as if it was plague...
  13. Sigh, half of the article is defending microtransactions and shift to f2p model, because "developing costs gone high *cries a river*"...
  14. Well, maybe it will be a surprise for you, the situation as described in CD-Project Red, is no different in most of the different companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Lot of people here are still exploited as a cheap labour, even if their job has extremely high added value for employer. It get's slowly better, but lot of people here are still used to shut up and work, from our not so nice past... Some unions are still affraid to do a proper strike, like we can see in Western Europe. Even if Union declares proper strike, lot of people are more worried about losing their jobs, than their ****ty work conditions...
  15. TBH, Dialo II is the only game, which comes to my mind. To what? Generated levels were in first one as well Katphood asked about exceptional procedural genrating, and IMHO, Diablo I is little bit over average.
  16. TBH, Dialo II is the only game, which comes to my mind.
  17. Bioware is dead few years as well. There is almost no one from the original crew. Because of this ****, I do not buy EA games since 1997. Buying games from EA = mored good studios getting bought and shot...
  18. You are not the only one. At least reviewer in ars technica said something very similar.
  19. Jim Sterling talking about, how lieing has become standard in the video game industry
  20. Unfortunatelly, I lived to far away from Vienna, so at that time I had no means to travel there. If some friends travelled there, we managed some "business" :-P Hehe, I was never able to buy boxed Arcanum, for the same reason of unavailability in here at the time, so that would be nice haha. Currently I am moving, so my PC, PS2, PS1, Wii boxes and most of the books are still at my old appartment, moved only my PS3 and PS4 boxes )
  21. Well that sucks. I had same issues with credit cards about 12-14 years ago. No company was selling in Slovakia NWN1 expansions, and most of the credit cards issued at that time were not allowed for cross border payments. And I was one of these "fortunate" card holders. No prepaid cards at that time, so only possibility was to travel to Austria, and hope to find english version of the game, travel to UK or get it by "shadier" means. Thankfully nowadays, you have here tons of opportunities how to get what you want. But still sometimes hard to get some Japanese games.
  22. I know PS3 games are fine, but I just can't be arsed to waste time doing research for which PS4 games do need internet connection and which not. I rather wait for my disc in a post. I buy digital only content exclusively on GOG, there is a guarantee, that I do not need to deal with that kind of ****.
  23. That's why I never buy anything from PSN. PSN is nice frontend, but it is very bad service, when you purchase stuff on sale.
  24. Well, Shady has more of the stuff than Killing Floor, that I would be interested to play/try, but for me, Steam is too big price to pay even for free game *shrugs*
