What are you playing right now?
Just killed Demon Firesage in Dark Souls. He kicked my ass, because I was stubborn and wanted to dodge all the time. After I've started to use shield, he died in less than a minute O.o

Steam or gog
I believe GOG sooner or later brings more Bethesda games to their "shop".

More Dark Souls again. I was able to defeat Sif and Seath today. The fight with Sif is pretty sad encounter And Seath, I think it is very easy fight, if you have a lot of patience, which I sometimes lack. And my impatience killed me 5 times. Moving forward to some new area. Either Painted World or Demon Ruins... Which I thinks are boring, so I am not very eager to go there...

Steam or gog
I do that, but I must have slipped up a few times. Several times I have seen the installer download and update GoG Galaxy. I've started to wonder if any free title from them comes with a mandatory Galaxy installer. Nope all games are possible to get without Galaxy Installer. The GOG Downloader still works, and they are still offering links for it. If you use this app, it will always download you the non-galaxy installer. link: https://www.gog.com/downloader In your library, each game has under More shown also GOG Downloader links.

Gog Galaxy does the same kind of auto-updating —AFAIK. (I don't use it myself, and keep finding the thing installed by default more, and more often these days). It's the first thing I uninstall after installing a GoG title. But it is for providing some of the the social and auto-update features that Steam provides; from what I've read. in your GOG library, you can change to "Non-Galaxy Installers" for each game (if it has Galaxy bundled with it by default). I always download offline non-galaxy installers for my backups, and install my games from them, even though I use Galaxy a lot. and @ sonic: The only one who is complaining about GOG catalogue on this forums is you GOG curates it's games, and you can almost never buy a game, which does not run on your Windows/Mac/Linux PC. If you find non-working game, their programmers fix it in few days or weeks. And it has no Direct/Greenlight garbage, which is win for GOG by default, no question asked

Infinite corridor, and he shoots two kind of soul spells and a bow. Harder to get to him, than the fight tbh. I would not know, where he is hidden, if I did not see accidentally spoiler video. I am trying to do mostly blind playthrough, but sometimes, I just have to peek inside guides for some hints.

LR needs a little bit more of time as well. There is some grinding if you want to do all sidequests. Anyway. Being today sick, I spent more time on Dark Souls. I was lucky, and found a guy who is helping with Smough and Ornstein fight, so I summoned him. This made the fight piss easy to single player attempt O.o But I was to greedy with the Ornstein having like 200 HP left so I run for him and he jumped and made his jumping super move and hit me with all the electricity released. He killed me, but I was lucky again, that the guy who was helping me had landed the killing blow, before he was unsummoned, and it counted as a kill for me as well. I have looted Smough’s Soul and med three levels after the fight. I have returned to Firelink Shrine and revived Keeper of the Bonfire with his soul, which I got two days ago when invading Lautrac’s domain. Later I went for The Catacombs, because I was lucky with Silver Knight Spear drop, and killed Pinwheel on first try.

It’s all about hands. For me the most comfortable and precise control is complete opposite of yours. I just do not like the design of xbox, where you have one cross and one analog stick on the same distance from palm. Two analogue sticks at same distance means for me much better precision and handling. So, Melusina, the conclusion by me is: If you have friends with xbox and PS consoles or controlers, visit them, play for few hours some game with heavy input action needed. I would probably recommend some Soul game or fighting game, even if you never play them , and you’ll see which one feels more comfortable in your hands. Bad controller can cause even injuries after long hours of playing.

@Labadal regarding Cosmic Star Heroine. I was thinking about that game in winter sale, but did not purchased it in the end. Can you give some spoilerfree review or impressions, after you finish the game? Edit: *sighs* whenever I decide to not use quote function, my question almost always ends up as a first on next page. Confusion takes over...

I liked FFXIII, and loathed FFXIII:LR. XIII-2 was the best of trilogy.

Looks like I am the only one who prefers PS contrlers over anything else. I’ve purchased two PS3 controllers in 2010 and they work until this day. And both had very heavy use during all these years. And still use them.

Thoughts on Hyperdimension Neptunia
It’s pretty funny game, if you do not mind anime. I have all 4 games for Playstation platforms, I have enjoyed it so much, that I have platinued two first games. But never played on PC, so I do not know how it plays on k+m combo.

I tried to learn parry and riposte on the Silver Knights at Anor Londo, but it show me even more how I am bad with the reflexes in this game. :D Made 3 levels in an hour or so, and took a break going down under the Blighttown to try out kill Ceaseless Discharge. It was pretty easy fight, just needed to have some patientce to kill it. Then I made two levels trying to get all the items in his area, but at the end I made a mistake, and got killed before the last chest. Because I went almost out of arrows, I decided to try and run for the chest. I have used the sound dampening ring, and somehow, I was successful Anyway, there is big orange portal, which does not want to open for me yet. Run back to Queelag’s sister and called it a day. I am going out of ideas, and I am somehow affraid to go for Smough and Ornstein. Almost no one plays on PS3 anymore, so hard to find summon.

From Wikipedia "Number 88 symbolizes fortune and good luck in Chinese culture, since the word 8 sounds similar to the word fā (发, which implies 发财, or wealth, in Mandarin or Cantonese). The number 8 is considered to be the luckiest number in Chinese culture, and prices in Chinese supermarkets often contain many 8s." Thank you, did not have idea about that

IMO, even if you look up for today situation, the more ****ed up government or the more corrupt government, the easier it is to rise for ultra-right-wing nuts. And you have that kind of people, who admire Hitler (or very similar people), for what he has done, in non-white population as well.

Took a break from Dark Souls for a while, and looked back at StarCrawlers. Developer was so kind to fix the bug, which I have encountered and reported to the dev, in the final bossfight, so was finally able to finish it. Very enjoyable game for me, despite few small bugs. Developer also provided new free update for the game, which added hacking to it, so there is big motivation for me to play the New Game + again in a near future I just wish, there would be more developer, who are willing to fix some bugs even years after the released, but lot of games just end up even with gamebreaking bugs. The next game Juggernaut Games release, will be auto-buy for me. He deserves all the support!

What are you playing right now?
Yeah I know, it's easier with magic, I am soon 40 years old, and my reflexes and eyes are getting slowly watered down Despite of that I enjoy Soulborne games a lot, but sometimes, melee is just to hard for me, and I have to overlevel some encounters to be able to proceed further. Some of them are easy as pie, on 1 or two tries, some of them are hell to kill for me I have killed them with poison at the end, but somehow missed the Bonfire right behind them, so I almost get heart attack, after one of the Silver Knights left me with 10 HP and I was out of Estus. I had to use one Humanity to be able to go further and open the Big Doors to the main Bonfire.
