  1. Look what I found at the bottom of the first page, incredible! Need geography lessons Bass-Gamemaster? You're quite late to the party as the war is, I believe, officially over and Russia will pull out once they've killed an exorbitant enough amount of civilians to feed Putin the vampire or something.
  2. I believe Pidesco is correct. That doesn't mean that we don't have huge problems in regards to education, it just means that we will solve those problems to better the future.
  3. Would this kind of invisibility shimmer when moving or is it actual total invisibility that can't be seen with the naked eye?
  4. What I meant is that they're much more willing to drive it further because of those reasons, not that they attacked first or anything. All sources seem to say that Georgia moved first (though no one knows why they would do something like that ), no doubt. They might be willing to say that.
  5. Shouldn't they also be worried about gunfire? I wonder if this is gonna affect America's plans for a missile defence system, since part of this seems to be, according to most western news bureaus, in part pent up rage from that and Kosovo.
  6. I haven't read this CNN analysis in its entirety but it seems pretty good. I've also heard news that Russia has invaded Georgia proper. This seems to confirm it. I do wonder now how this is gonna end.
  7. I have no idea about neat designs but you will have to post pictures of it when it is finished. I think it could potentially look quite cool.
  8. There is that old joke about a russian being captured by cannibals and using his last wish asking to be hit by one of them, only then would he pull forth a kalashnikov because "russians aren't aggressors". The BBC is being awesome.
  9. This is an alright article for anyone who doesn't know much of what happended before this. Georgia: Russia targets key oil pipeline with over 50 missiles I've always believed that energy independence from Russia can't come fast enough and this just cements my opinion.
  10. We should still be buying new games since these games that we will list are listed for a reason i.e. they are less than stellar products. Tiberian sun NWN2 Command and Conquer 3 Unreal Tournament 3 (Haven't pulled my stuff together and missing the last mission in the campaing) Gothic 2 Gothic 3 Those are the ones that I want to finish but haven't yet for various reasons.
  11. This is a bit old but the swedes have found the worst case of GTA vandalism yet.
  12. Don't worry people just get easily distracted by bright lights and lots of well-choreographed bull****. Spoken like someone who has never choreographed **** in their life. Getting that many people on the same page was one of the most tremendous achievements I've ever seen, and that was just the first drum number. They went on and on with it. I did say that it was well-choreographed didn't I? My beef with their show was that while it probably took a lot of work and they can be proud that they did all that work, it essentially ammounts to nothing of worth. For me at least.

  14. How is the combat? And by that I mean whether it feels fun and good or whtether it is boring and bad.
  15. I remember Battlefield 2 being a huge disapointment after having played both 1942 and Battleifeld Vietnam. I can't remember why though.
  16. Fancy stuff. I like it.
  17. Is that an actual escalation? Haven't shells been traded back and forth for some days now? Anyway I doubt something will happen before one side will listen and that probably won't be before Russia has control of the entirety of S. Ossetia (which I don't think they have).
  18. The first thing I thought about were the Fallout energy weapons. @Xard Yep, I think it is only a few days that Russian planes violated Danish airspace.
  19. I think he is talking about subtle threats involving gazprom and europe.
  20. It's just that we can't say yet who started this thing and who should be sent home with a note to their parents. It was mostly your comment about Russia rattling sabers and then leading to this that I tried to adress, as I'm not sure we can say anything much about this except that both countries will be weaker diplomatically.
  21. The situation seems to be somewhat more comples than that Xard, unless I misunderstood your post. The only thing I feel that I can say with some certainty is that this will be resolved diplomatically unless Russia invades Georgia proper i.e Georgia minus the breakaway republics.
  22. About time. So has anyone decided who they're gonna root for? More seriously I'm somewhat annoyed at the lack of reliable info.
  23. I personally wasn't too impressed but that probably has more to do with my lack of interest in the olympics and grand shows in general. The Caucasus kinda kept my interest this noon.
  24. @Wrath of Dagon Cops coming after you is clearly a penalty since you loose the mission that you're on and will have to start over. Also you're clearly either extremely ignorant or a troll so I'm not gonna take part in this discussion anymore.
  25. @Wrath of Dagon Try playing GTA before you go pretending to know anything, GTA is about solving missions in a freeform sandbox world. Killing civilians is rewarded through very small sums of money and penalized by the police coming after you. Try not being ignorant.
