Sexy Bioware people are sexy while rambling about Dragon Age. I've only skimmed this, but it seems that we'll be forced into being a Spectre Grey Warden in DA:O and I must admit that I'm getting a wee bit annoyed about Bioware abusing this story-telling technique as I personally find it to be horrendous. Am I the only one who sees this forcing the player into an organization as an extreme faux pas?

@CG Age of Conan had over 700,000 accounts at this point, I don't know about now. It is also getting a Xbox 360 release at some point, so if it can muster the stamina it might be the second great MMO.

Norway... Funcom? Before I give my opinion on the subject I should tell you that I have no actual experience with stuff like this and it is just my opinion and nothing else. I would say that considering that it is you that is about to get a job that you should be happy with and which can be very demanding I would say that ensuring that you get the best job possible is the top priority ethically. If A doesn't like it then that says more about them than you i.e. that they're afraid that their offer isn't good enough. Also your choice afterwards should be based on where you will be happy and do well and not any secondary concerns about what the other company might think. Good luck with your interviews etc.

Well said. I remember pulling the hat off a pakistani friend of mine and totally realising that pulling the hat off his head would result in the hat leaving his head. It wasn't till he pointed it out that I realised that it was a major annoyance as well. I was just being playfull. Granted I was also a bit younger than 15 (13 perhaps) but I still think that 15 falls below whatever arbitrary line determines adulthood. I can. But do you honestly believe Guantanmo can? As Hell Kitty mention they don't even know if he threw the grenade. Anyone know what is the most likely judgement to fall on this kid if they believe they can "prove" that he did indeed throw the grenade and what will most likely happen to him?

As with all Relic games it totally ruins the balance but is also a heap of fun. Play it with someone who isn't an idiot and you will have a lot of fun.

Company of Heroes is the best RTS out there right now and as such should be gotten by anyone who wants to be cool. The only acceptable reason for not getting Company of Heroes is if you don't like fun.

Tell me something people, if 15 year old children are fully aware of actions such as these, then why don't we allow them to vote? If this guy could fully comprehend his actions and if those actions wasn't caused or kindled by outside influences on a young mind then why aren't 15 year olds allowed to vote, drink or drive?

You should try it out if you like stealth action and can find it cheap. Edit: The MGS 1 story is actually quite good considering most stories in PC games and is as such a plus.

Sure. It will still have to be taken into account and you're undervaluing how irresponsible children are. Haven't you ever had that feeling of walking amongts 7th-graders and telling yourself "I was never that immature"? That's because we tend to see our own past through rose coloure glasses. All of this is moot though, since things such as this should be up to a psychologist or someone else with actual knowledge on the subject to decide whether his age is relevant or not.

Huh? 2008 has had many good games and will still have many good games: GTA4 STALKER: Clear Sky Red Alert 3 Spore Left4dead And many others that I can't remember now. 2008 has mostly been a late-in-the-year year for me so I guess I kinda understand where you're coming from. I'm mostly following E3 through RPS and Kotaku.

No seriously, I would recomend anyone to register at Bioware and click on the dev-post markers as they allow you to read the dev-posts and ignore the noise of the Bio-masses. Not gonna happen.

I know, the problem is that some NMAers doesn't seem to realise why it seems fresh. I swear, some of those people would try to walk on the ceiling if someone didn't tell them which way was up. That article does point out what could be a huge flaw, namely the slow-mo VATS thingy. It seems to me that Bethesda should have integrated it with the pip-boy and allow people to watch their five most recent VATS in slow-mo if they wanted to. This way they could even have done some net 2.0 share cool VATS with people easily on youtube a la Spore. Currently it could just ruin the game as the article points out that it could possibly be needed and as such grating on the nerves.

Exactly. I'm surprised that you felt too hemmed in as the MGS series has always, in my opinion, been one of the best at giving the illusion of non-linearity when solving problems without actually having non-linear problems.

That plot sounds really atrocious. I mean, pathetic? PATRIOTS? Do remember that some of it comes from his writing style, but yes Kojima does fall through from time to time and anyone who isn't a huge fan (Xard et al.) will sometimes find that they play despite the flaws. Then again I'm judging from the first game which is all I've played as of yet, and the fourth game could be truly horrendous from all I know. Edit: Have you played MGS1?

I find it kind of sad that the journalist mentions at the end that the reason why he pans the game is mostly that he can't get over the fact that black isle is dead and gone. But then again, they are french. [\Euroweenie 'everyone hates the french' type joke] It is also somewhat sad that I had to read until the 7th post to find someone pointing out that lack of negativity!=dishonesty.

I guess part of the reason why I didn't jump at that one was because the whole gonads=balls thing kinda flew over my head for a few seconds. Also, I laughed at his way of putting the MGS4 plot at his blog (look for the big background-coloured spoiler).
