Child abouse != assault of a child. I believe what Sand meant was that we have to try and figure out, if possible, whether the child is actually aware of what he did. It is commonly accepted in modern society that children aren't accepted as fully grown until a certain age, usually 18. I have no idea how anyone could figure out whether he knew what he was doing and was capable of comprehending it, but that should be the first thing that any authority should try to do. This is obviously slightly "pie in the sky" stuff, but shouldn't be dismissed out of hand either. I'm actually surprised at how much I agree with Sand here, children are different than adults and that should always be taken into account when handling them.

Thanks for mentioning this. I tried to rewind it and didn't see anything until I added a buch of minutes after reading your post. Greg looks pimp. Edit: DA ogre seems to be awesome in the way that the Diablo 3 picking-up-barb-and-eating-him monster was cool. It looked quite awesome when it picked up a guy and used him as a punching bag.

I've actually cut my teeth on the 360 controller recently and while it is quite horrible at first (read: i threw the controller on the ground several times in disgust) it is definately usable if these other features are as great a boon as people lead me to believe. Also I truly suck at quick-keying voice commands. So what is this guesting phenomenom that you people keep praising like it is the second coming of chocolate?

I'm pretty sure that they haven't announced any specific number of races and they would be pretty stupid (or is that too harsh?) to put themselves up for balancing more than four races in one game. I can't predict which races are in the game, but I can say that I sincerely hope that the Guard is in the first expansion pack at the very latest. The Eldar and Tyranids are awesome but they can only tide me over for so long.

So has any of you 360 co-op creatures decided yourself on PC vs. 360 in regards to Left 4 Dead? It seems to me that the apparent decision to use the 360 headset instead of the PC's voice commands could mean that the failbox could be the superiour platform for this game. I'm assuming that none of you are freaky enough to wait for the PS3 version.

If we ignore the really boring looking slowmotion then, yes, it does indeed look quite good. I'm hoping that if nothing else, I'll be able to walk around a wasteland shooting things. We simply don't have enough of those games.

I believe the idea behind using few very well defined colours in very well defined ways (rectangles etc.) is to mirror the politics of the city. This is one of the few games where I like bright colours as it fits the theme of the game.

You expected people to be mean bastards or am I not getting something? I'm surprised that a large majority is true neutral considering that the site has a majority of good characters.

How about containing re-specs to non-ladder characters? The ladder race would be ruined if it suddenly became one build for 1-24 then another one for nightmare and then another one for hell etc.

No, no. Those are natural scores, before level or race modifiers apply. It's intentional, given how stats are calculated. The test also seems to have a something of a bias towards certain classes. Lots of casters, but did anyone get monk or barbarian? Would you expect this forum to contain a lot of barbarians? I'm not saying that the test isn't flawed or anything just that I wouldn't judge it based upon this forum.

I imagine that it can work quite well but try it. I've started an Assassin myself and will see if I get bored with it. I also experienced some choppyness but resolved it by changing the options in the video test.
