Yeah, I hated the damage system when it came to tanks. If you were good enough to nail the chopper in the first place with that slow arching round then you deserve a one hit kill. The only reason my deaths are so high is because I have a tendency to get...well...screwed. Repeatedly. Artillery at the spawns, tanks at the spawns, APCs camping spawns, idiot pilots, attack choppers constantly hanging around that one main building on that one map with 3 MEC uncapturable spawns...etc. etc. ad nauseum.

Technically we are a "democratic republic". The people don't decide on everything, but we do have some say in the government aside from who's elected and who's not. And last time I checked, speaking out against the government does not get one shot, nor do protests get dispersed by tanks, as in Tiananmen Square. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Chinese aren't really a Republic. There's damn near zero "choice" there. When given two candidates who are the same, and are all about the exact same things...it's only the illusion of choice, nothing more. If you're trapped inside your car after slamming into a tree or something and are critically wounded...that cell phone in your pocket you save for emergencies doesn't come in handy?

On what basis? Revan may have been powerful in his time, but he still didn't see Malak's betrayal, wasn't able to resist the masters reprogramming his mind, couldn't resist the dark side, etc... People really need to consider the New Jedi Order novels or at least read up on Luke's later life before they pass judgment on his abilities - he became far stronger than Anakin/Vader or Revan ever did. And before people say they hate the EU and don't accept it, bear in mind that KotOR is EU also. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Luke didn't see that whole Rancor thing coming either and every Jedi in the Republic didn't see the betrayl of their own soldiers in RotS.
