So, Eve is a sort of MMORPG/RTS/Corporate take-over simulator? Personally, I found the article to be...awe-inspiring. And not in a good way. Who the hell has the time, and actually believes in something like that enough to actually go theough with it? More importantly, what kind of person befriends another outside of a game, only for the purpose of betraying them within it? Perhaps this moral high horse is a bit too high.

If you want to make it as simple as possible... Role....Playing....Game A game, in which you play a role. Problem solved... All games, to some degree, could be called an RPG. All other arguments are moot, and every other point could be argued as being nothing but opinion. It comes down to your particular definition, and nobody elses.

Bump. I just downloaded the demo, and played... Surprisingly enough, I actually liked what I'd seen. Scary games don't really appeal to me, but F.E.A.R seems to do it, I don't know...right. It's a much more visceral feeling compared to a game like Doom 3. I honestly felt like I was being followed all thoughout the demo, I kept having to turn around and check every now and then, just to prove to myself that I was alone in those dark corridors. Admittedly, I was a bit jumpy, ever since the sewers at the very beginning. (I opened up with my SMG the second I saw that damn little girl...I'm sure I'd of killed her, were she not an incorporeal nightmare :'( .) All in all, a great game, though I did notice striking similarities between its engine and Doom's. Even though its a bit frightening, it was somehow a good feeling this time...I haven't felt that alive in years

Anyway, I'm going to have to agree with GoA and Alan...what constitutes a CRPG is entirely subjective. Well, maybe not entirely, considering that there are, indeed, base requirements.

The more I read about this man, and the more I hear, the more I find myself laughing, or grinning like a kid who just found some long lost toy. People like him have a habit of ignoring reason, and plowing ahead even if they're wrong. Bull-headed, I think, is the proper term...though his form of it seems to be augmented by a less than healthy level of idiocy.

I'm going to have to re-install Arcanum now. This topic reminded me i even had the thing. I couldn't really get into it though, but I liked the setting, and story.

I'm starting to realize just how little I know of different mediums. I've no idea what a tablet is , or how one would go about using it, and Adobe Photoshop seems immensely complicated (Not to mention expensive). Can't deny that the results are often astonishing though... Perhaps, eventually, I should branch off, away from just pencils and their colored brethren. But first, anatomy. Anybody know of a good site for anatomy research, that can actually help me, with tips and the like, rather than just offering pictures? Hands and feet, it's always the damn hands and feet.

The game keeps crashing on me after a good few minutes of looking through the histories. Is it just me, or is anybody else having this problem?
