Baaaaack on topic. I just picked it up yesterday...I'm still awake. Currently (for another week or so), I can't get at a decent broadband connection, so I'm stuck with the bots, but that gamespy mod allowing for 32 players really helps. And am I the only one struggling with the damn choppers and jets? Hell of a learning curve involved there... Then again, I don't spend too much time with them.......why get in it, if I'm going to slam into a mountain face ten seconds later? Medic and Spec Ops seem to be the best classes for me...I like helping people, and the C4 gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling each time one of those Abrams rolls on in. Since I'm curious...How's the online play? Idiots and mentally abused shut-ins aside.

No arguments here on any point, though that could just be because I've developed a slight affinity for T&A, and am biased beyond all comprehension on this topic... The real thing is oh so much more pleasing, but ::shrug:: fun to watch when you're bored.

Wow. That's one hell of a long read. You guys are really getting into this Abortion debate, and rightfully so, considering the issue's importance in today's society. (Or lack of importance, if one were to consider the grand scheme of things...the child will eventually perish just the same as an aborted "child", but with a good billion or so memories, sensations, experiences, etc. to take with them into the after-life [or non-existence].) Good points have been made and I understand, for the most part, the views behind what arguments have been presented (Eldar's in particular caught my attention as being a well thought out, strong, and thought-provoking post), and my opinion has been expressed here already by other posters to such an extent that I feel it isn't worth the time to get into. But what the hell, why not. Abortion To me, this is something so personal and dependant upon individual circumstances that a general law one way or the other just isn't acceptable. I don't think it's my right to tell people what they can and cannot do with their bodies. Faramir, I know that you consider human life to be apparent at a very early stage in a fetus' development (or I read something wrong somewhere, and am just assuming so, like a complete fool), but I have to disagree on the grounds that I believe, to be a true human being, there are certain requirements. Capacity for coherent, purposeful thought and awareness of one's surroundings constitute basic humanity to me... Just to get this out of the way, I whole-heartedly endorse sex for recreation. If you don't intend to have a child when you initiate the act, you shouldn't be punished if the condom breaks. Mistakes are made...to err is human and all that. All opinion anyway. Its not as though my, or anybody else's condoning or disapproving of abortion will dictate the actions of that 17-year-old panicking in her bathroom...well, actually, yes it will, if it's the right people, but if she's desperate enough, there's no way to stop her short of heavy chains and a good stone wall. I guess I'd be a liberal...though I have a few conservative views here and there (the execution of convicts, for instance............if you murder people...your not fit for society...ever). Just drifting along in the grey area between all major parties, I think.

Here's a question...what voice do you guy's attribute to a wolf avatar? Personally...the voice I hear depends on the post's content. Trolling=snide, jerk voice. Informative=the voice a small college professor might have, were he going over something he found to be terribly interesting. A good, valid point, or something that causes me to think=either a shakespearian actor, or a drunkard poet.

The bottom line is that, to a degree, both stories were predictable (Save for the whole 'hole in the force thing', which is just ****in weird), and all the rest comes down to opinion. By the way...that last paragraph is laughable. In K1, Revan's talked about....a lot....and the DS/LS options are nothing BUT "murder kittens" and "i'll shine your shoes" servatile.

Somebody's a liiiiiittle overzealous. The story of KOTOR 2 was better than its predecessor, if only in terms of originality...KOTOR 1 loses points because I distinctly said, upon starting the game and hearing of Revan for the first time..."What? So I'm gonna end up being Revan, right?" Predictable stories don't do much for me. On a side note....graphically speaking...the characters of K2 are equal to, if not more advanced than K1's.
