A Plea to Lucasarts/Obsidian
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Barachiel's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I don't think it is so much the ending that people, like me, are complaining about, it's more like the whole last level. No spoilers: But on the last level you have characters doing things that makes no sense and the dying and bringing back to life of something you thought was dead. I actually have come to terms with the ending but it's the whole last level that confuses me. -
Where are these, they are in this game? The best one i found in the game were the Osus(sp?) keeper ropes. The upgrade i liked best was the one with the 3or4 vp regeneration. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I found those to be the best as well. Other than that I had Dark Jedi Master Robes and those were cool. I'm still hoping to get the Jedi Master Robe and the Olive Green ones seen in screenshots.

PC gamers... I will never understand them. Sure they might get better resolution and framerate but what it boils down to is story. The PC gamers will get the same exact story that we Xboxers got and they will discover the enormous plot holes and annoying cliff hanger ending. Sure the framerate is bad among other things but it's all about the story. But I loved the game as a whole... simply amazing :D

Can the wookiee be a jedi
Jedi Master D Murda replied to angel10's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
From playing I know that -
Froze for me twice altogether through 3 playthroughs and the framerate is horrible but the story and characters and robes is what drives me and makes me forget about petty things like that.
-
Agreed. I really do want to go back and play K1 one again to absorb the story but there is still a lot for me to do with K2 first.

Filling in the plot holes at the end...
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Boiler98's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I also thought he was talking about Revan but he was not. Don't know who he was talking about. But you will find out what happens to Revan when you end the game, it's kinda bittersweet but not an outrage. -
Influence: a success or failure?
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Lacan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I really loved the influence system. I haven't played DS yet so if the complaints are correct I might not like it. But the influence system was great. I usually just carry Kreia and Bao Dur around but now I change up my party so that I can gain influence on them. So far I am trying to do that with Atton and Handmaiden. -
I'm sure everyone's had this problem. So far I am playing for my 3rd time. 1st LS Male then LS Femal and now LS Male with Revan evil. On my first time through she started to give me the cold shoulder till the end of the game and I think it might be permanent. Right now I am so close to training her as a Jedi, what I did was never talk to Visas after I spared her and I think everything will be cool with Handmaiden. Plus Visas doesn't talk about anything of big interest. Hopefully I can get Handmaiden to become a Jedi then carry on with Visas.

So true. For the past couple of months there have been a million "Who do you find interesting from K2" polls and I always chose Kreia because she always seemed so mysterious to me, especially if she doesn't care if you go Light or Dark. But after the end I hated her as well... for multiple reasons.

Anyone else seen this?
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Jesra Winsu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I haven't gotten that far with T3 yet, but I will try on one of my playthroughs. -
Will there be a KOTOR3?
Jedi Master D Murda replied to GSpotFrenzy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'm pretty sure there will be a sequel. Because: Let's just say there are things that still need to be done after K2. -
Disciple/Hanmaiden
Jedi Master D Murda replied to The Swedish Dark Lord III's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You get right after you leave Telos because she sneaks on your ship. It's hard to gain influence over her. But I'm still trying. -
Filling in the plot holes at the end...
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Boiler98's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Agreed From what someone else says the bond was to ensure the Exile's loyalty to Kreia. Sion never killed Kreia because even if he did the Exile would not die. That's why when you tell everyone about your bond they are not familiar with it. Kreia just used it as an excuse to keep you under her thumb. -
HK Droid Factory Discussion
Jedi Master D Murda replied to blackriderx's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
How could Revan have made the first HK,when HK-47 had previous owners?Or was it explained that Revan made him and then HK-47 got tossed around the universe? I know it was explained that HK-47 was with Revan during the Mandalorian Wars and Revan ordered him to assassinate Mandalore, but I'm not sure if it said that Revan actually built him. I'm gonna have to play KOTOR again or see if there's a FAQ somewhere that has the conversation about his past. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Revan did create HK-47. After you discover you are Revan and you end up on the Ebon Hawk after the confrontation with Malak ask HK if he is with you and he will say he is experiencing something strange and he will say he has returned to you. After that whole seen talk to HK again and say "So you belonged to Revan?" He will tell you yes and say that Revan created him shortly after he and apprentice started their conquest to rule the galaxy. -
That's some good specuation however I believe that Revan corrupted so many so that he could use them to fight the real threat. I think that he would tell them that his empire is being threatened by the real threat and that they would be coming so they needed to prepare and that's what he was trying to do during his reign as Dark Lord. But since that plan didn't go how he wanted and there was no time to rebuild he had to go face the threat head on... what a brave man, I salute you Revan. True but it's fun to speculate.

There is a Level Cap
Jedi Master D Murda replied to TheRebel's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In a game like this Level doesn't really say how powerful your character is. Sure the Exile was powerful, one of mine's was at level 27, but that doesn't mean he is more powerful than Revan. Revan is the GOD during these times. -
Filling in the plot holes at the end...

The ESB did leave some unanswered questions, the biggest being: "Why didn't you tell me?" So you should have watched EP VI to know why Obi Wan didn't tell Luke the truth, from a certain point of view . Plus who was the other Yoda spoke about, I personally would have not known Leia was the other and Luke's sister without EP VI, considering the smootch they had in ESB K2 is open ended but taken too far to understand. -
I truly have to congradulate you nightcleaver on an amzing topic but:
-
When I first ended the game I found the ending unsatisfying and still do, but I have learn to accept it as maybe an ending similar to that of ESB. The endings of K1 were so much more satisfying, especially the LS ending.

Revan or The Exile
Jedi Master D Murda replied to kopolee13's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I favor Revan over the Exile. The Exile was... too confused of what was going on around him which made me more confused. Plus while playing through the Sith Lords I too began to like Revan even more and more and when I learned of his fate... let's just say I miss him. But nevertheless the exile was cool. -
Finished Peragus, Telios and Korriban
Jedi Master D Murda replied to Tasthius's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes tell us of these tombs. Hey luke switch to the xbox side! JK! :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The other tombs are similar to the "test" Luke took when he went into the cave on Dagobah.
