  1. You think that's bad? Just wait until you visit the same cave for the umpteenth time. Not an extremely similar cave from a cookie cutter mold (ala Oblivion), not even a mirrored version of the cave, the same exact cave. Trust me, you are going to be intimately familiar with said cave before the game is through. Hey, let's be fair, most caves have differences between each other. In one cave, the conspicuously placed rectangular doorway is free and clear In another, it's filled in with cement.
  2. If one of those games is Final Fantasy XIII, I think we're going to have to revoke your membership.
  3. Got my copy today. I can't play it yet, but I own a copy.
  4. I don't know the last time I saw an MMO that had a low limit on the number of abilities. They tend, at least currently, to give you a ton of bars and let you go to town. Sometimes I think people just like to throw random words at things to be an insult. I thought you were above that. For shame. For shame.
  5. I have a joke conspiracy where Fiona and Maric conspired to establish a Grey Warden nation and throw Orlais and the Chantry into chaos. Mage leader? Grey Warden. Mage that blew up the chantry? Grey Warden. Red lyrium? Found using maps supplied by Wardens on an expedition lead by a guy whose father was allied to Wardens. Alistair is just the symbol of the alliance. Some people will tell you they're "ex-Wardens" but Grey Warden is supposed to be for life. Don't even get me started on the Inquisition's connections to the Wardens.
  6. http://forum.bioware.com/topic/520802-denuvo-is-not-frying-your-hard-drive/ Or maybe not.
  7. Oww, oww, oww.
  8. I'll miss you, Inon Zur. :'(
  9. I have heard nothing about him and people have been asking.
  10. I made fettuccine alfredo last night. I decided to toss some ham into the alfredo, but it was too thinly sliced. Once on the plate, the ham started finding a way to settle to the bottom. It wasn't bad, it just kind of ruined what I was going for.
  11. Where outside of that one Wynne scene that's all about her spirit keeping her alive?
  12. Level 11 I hear. You can only get one specialization this time around though and they're taught by a quest.
  13. How the heck did Mt Dew get this popular? It's like the only thing holding up that soft drink division and I keep seeing fast food restraunts drop the entire coca-cola lineup just to get a better deal on Dew.
  14. Mind will be arriving sometime between the 20th and 25th. Which works for me because I'm not even getting a PS4 until Black Friday.
  15. Where'd the other $90 go?
  16. I'd say sure you can, but just don't pretend you actually know what the controls and gameplay are like. You don't have to own a game, sure, but that's a whole other matter. You should at least play a game before making a definitive assertion. Making a judgement call on if it's worth risking is what we all do before we buy a game, but it's silly to make recommendations to others with only such limited experience.
  17. Most magical healing was only ever a game mechanic, with the overwhelming majority of in-setting healing being done with poultices and herbs. You didn't see mages treating wounded soldiers or anything. Spirit Healers were real healers, though, but a very rare fluke that had no formal codification. Wynne didn't seem to have ever heard of it before.
  18. It's necessary for the virus collection missions and before you get super speed. You don't get that until a couple missions in.
  19. That's the first I've heard like that, but I actually really like the idea of standing judgement over a goat flinger.
  20. http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2014/11/17/wot-i-think-dragon-age-inquisition/ Rock, Paper, Shotgun seems to like it.
  21. Denuvo is it's name, funny thing is that the console versions of the game were out for download 2 days ago. Denuvo is not the DRM on the game, it's the anti-cheat. The DRM is Origin.
  22. Consensus is better than DA2, but you'll be forgiven for still being wary. There's not much known about the ending and I hear it's, at best, okay.
  23. All the problems come because the city rests on a virtual hellmouth. Bertrand isn't an immigrant. Merideth isn't an immigrant. Sister Petrice wasn't.
