Says the guy who never 'bothered' with Starcraft. Of course i played Dawn of War. When people refer to it as the 'true heir' of Starcraft (except for the single player, which was **** and one of the reason i rank it lower then the older game), i think it's implied there's some similarity between the two games, at least in spirit. Not to say it isn't a fine RTS (one of the very best actually), but i'm having an hard time understanding how you can like one without liking the other when they are so similar in nature... Says the guy who couldn't "get into" Starcraft. I did bother with it. Vast difference. They are very different. Big Bottom pretty much lists the main points of why. Plus the squads+reinforcement system.

Now installing Tomb Raider Legend. It was only $20. Also purchased the Christopher Eccleston season of Doctor Who, but that's not really what this thread is interested in, is it? Two weeks until the next episode. grrrrrrrrr

I hear what you're saying, but I was really BORED by some parts of the film. That, or wincing. Noticeably when Toby Maguire was trying to emote. You're probably more sensitive to bad acting than I am. Only time I've ever really been able to tell "bad acting" was the kid who played Anakin in The Phantom Menace. All the other bad acting I know of is assumption when I can't put my finger on why I didn't like a character.

In RPG terms, that's like saying you could never get into Fallout. And, how could anybody possibly dislike Starcraft and love Dawn of War, considering the latter is practically a remake of the first with a different skin? Only way I can imagine anyone making a claim like that is if they've never actually played Dawn of War.

Starcraft is still the better game. The Blizzard hate band wagon seems a bit unwarranted if you ask me. Have their developing practices really changed that much during the years? I never could get into Starcraft. But Command & Conquer and Dawn of War?

I should be sad that the only game coming out I'm looking forward to in the next couple of months is episode 6 of Sam & Max. The 10th of this month.

Sure he is and a GREAT character as well with a fantastic tradition. But as you said and what hollywood thinks. They will always **** up these movies eventually. Batman, Superman, Xmen, Spider-Man........ He's the frickin' Ash Williams (with less violence) of Marvel. Any hero that throws around jokes while he fights is not meant to be taken seriously.

I enjoyed Spider-Man 3. It was cheesy, too cheesy, at times. But, it's not a movie I go to expecting to take seriously. Spider-Man is a character not meant to be taken seriously. I think Sandman was a poorly developed villain in the movie, his psychology was all wrong. Venom was ROBBED. I enjoyed Eddie Brock, but the symbiote was robbed. Screeching, when it should have been more of an open mouth back of the throat growl. And he there was no slobbering. But overall, it was simply fun, which is what I look for from Spider-Man.
