So, is anyone going to get C&C3
I'm going to get C&C3. I played the demo, short, but I enjoyed it. In preperation for this release, I purchased Command & Conquer: The First Decade and have been watching the movies because the first games bore me too quick and Tiberian Sun crashes on me. -.-

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
Which is interesting because it won't be stickied because it's bumped. It truly is a vicious cycle.

Yes, the background is completely pre-determined.

Movies You Have Seen Lately
I did. I know what you mean. The show definitely had the potential to be a new X-Files. Margaret Cho lost some weight!

How was your day?
Mine was 3/17 and was celebrated in my favorite fashion: not answering my calls.

As a matter of fact, none do that I saw on Stalker difficulty. Most "respawns" people I've seen encounter were patrols, with a real respawn (of some kind) coming a day or more later. What difficulty are you playing? Are you sure they are respawns or maybe just guys that circled around behind you?

There will be a SciFi direct to DVD movie this fall. The Pegasus story. It's going to be on TV first, then to DVD.

Feargus Fun at RPG Codex
Are you willing to share your reasons for dislike? I am interested. Main reason? The most FUBAR dynamic difficulty system any game has ever attempted, sans SIN: Emergence pre-patch. Only game I know of where levelling can make the game drastically harder to the point that it ultimately forces you into a specific playstyle to even be able to play the game. Mostly generic appearing dungeons, including the Oblivion gates (though I concede that the layouts often were different and some were quite nice). These two elements conspire into removing any incentive to explore in the game. Ultimately, the way to get the best equipment in the game isn't via exploration and dungeon crawling, it is by finding a place were humanoids respawn after your character gains the appropriate level. Functionally, this is the complaint. As my character levels, being a stealth based character, I end up having more and more difficulty killing anything. Just until I get to the sweet spot where I can hit an enemy 15 times to kill them without them acknowledging my character is there. And there feels something incredibly nonsensical about hitting a guy 15 times in the back without the guy even turning around. But, luckily, if he did, my character would usually die instantly. If the enemy was a Clanroth, he would die anyway. As an explorer, I like to see what is to be found and what there is to see and discover. Sadly, the only thing there is to see in any of the dungeons are the same looking walls as the rest of the dungeons and the only thing to discover are rusty iron hammers. I know another said it was better than Morrowind, but from my perspective, Morrowind was tons better.

He likes Oblivion? The group of people who, like me, dislike that game seems to be a shorter and shorter list than I expect it to be every time the topic comes up.

The Battlestar Galactica Thread
I think it means that the final 5 Cylons had all been to Earth.

TMNT
I saw it earlier today and I really liked it.

What are you playing now?
Not if you play alone a lot and aren't a mage. When you're high level, it gets better, but running the roads is real pain in the arse. Roads? Use the griffin/bat/whatever. No real need to run roads unless you're going for scenery or on the quests themselves. I was trying to play Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun. However, the game crashed on me twice. BAH, humbug!

Relatively random.

What are you playing now?
ever tried City of Heroes? you can get from one end of town to the other in under 30 minutes if you have the right powers. With a Mage you can travel to any friendly city in existence, then a 5 minute ride to whatever outpost you want. With a Warlock and two buddies, you can go from wherever you are to your buddies, wherever that is, in 30 seconds. Or you can just bug Warlocks in random locations for it. Sometimes they'll help you, I usually wouldn't.

What are you playing now?
World of Warcraft has the fastest travel of any MMO I have ever played. Not just by a llittle, but there's a significant margin of difference there.

- How was your day?
I watched Robotech: Shadow Chronicles earlier today. Dissapointing in that the movie was basically a setup for a new Robotech chapter that will probably not see the light of day, even though it is planned.- S.t.a.l.k.e.r.: Shadow of Chernobyl (impressions video inside)
RE: Chernobyl early So, you can get to it early!- Are you disappointed with Obsidian?
I'm sorry, while there was things to like about it, K2 was FAR from solid. And K1 wouldn't run without crashing before a patch.- S.t.a.l.k.e.r.: Shadow of Chernobyl (impressions video inside)
Only in Russia.- TMNT
I've heard little good about this movie. Which is bad because of how desperately I've been considering seeing it. Most reviews seem to feel it took itself too seriously. - How was your day?
