I liked Neeshka and Qara. Neeshka only because she was a Tiefling and Qara because crazy and stuck up is hot.

I just bought Condemned and Ico. So.... should I finish Suikoden V first or jump into Ico or Dark Corners? I feel the need to play Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners of the Earth before Condemned, even if they are different franchises and developers.

You should see someone about that, could be a tumor.

1) It's being released simultaneously for the PC and PS2. Simultaneous releases aren't ports. 2) She looked better in Legend... on the PC.
-
She looks like utter crap in that start screen.

Children of Men was about formulaic dystopia. Society/humanity is falling apart because of its own actions, there is a slight glimmer of hope for a better future from a place that society/humanity seems unwilling to accept. Only through sacrifice does this hope eventually get a chance against near impossible odds. Once the first two characters died, I knew the rest were going to die too, just in time to save the girl. From the moment I heard the girl was special, I knew she was pregnant. Clive Owens's death and the nurse's death were completely pointless just to make the movie seem dark and desperate.

No, his story line is not finished.

I ended up buying Viewtiful Joe, Zone of the Enders 2, and Shadow of the Colossus. I think I'll start with Shadow of the Colossus and save ZoE2 until after a replay of the first.

What in the name of Zombie Jesus? Next thing you know, Infinity Ward will be making something that's not a World War II shooter! You mean like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? Stil a shooter, sure, but at least they've ditched the WWII part. It was meant as a joke. It's odd that both of these companies are moving from a specific genre they've been milking for 5 years straight. Practically to the tune of 1 a year. But, I guess it's about time they both moved on, or rather well past. btw COD3 wasn't made by infinity ward, blame treyarch for the horrible idea. Yeah, I know, but they did make Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (not as Infinity Ward), Call of Duty, and Call of Duty 2. So, 3 World War 2 shooters in 3 years.

Charlie was committed to dying. Because he came to believe if he didn't, they wouldn't get rescued.

It's possible his father never died. The coffin was empty when found on the island. Heck, Desmond has been travelling through time, so literally anything is possible.

I read someone put forth the theory that Ben is Jeremy Bentham. It makes a bit of sense. In the, nothing ever makes sense way.

I heard it was better than the original and I liked the original!

I burned out on coding back in High School. There were a total of 7 people in the third year class. 4 in one class, 3 in mine. We were given an assignment, one kid transferred from my class to the other, the other guy did his Physics homework instead of our project. I ended up doing a 3 man project solo. Burnout! I still dream in code at night. But, it's a funky code (it's a hybrid Turbo Pascal and Borland C++) that won't compile which caused me so many problems. I was once told the only cure for := was shock therapy. Sometimes I wish I'd gone back and given it another chance. But after 6 years of psych it might be a little late.

All that graphical power and what does he use it for? *Sigh* ALL THE COSMIC POWER IN THE WORLD!!!! itty bitty living space. PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER! itty bitty living space When Gamestop opens, I'm going to go buy P.N. 03 per a friend's recommendation and seeing it in action at a friend's house. Mostly poor reviews, but I'll get it used for 5 bucks, so I don't care. Viewtiful Joe. Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. I'm tempted to get Front Mission 4, but I don't think it'll be anywhere as good as 3 and I should probably avoid it.

That's because you're ascribing government rights to civilians. Civilians don't have the right to restrain anyone, for any reason, barring prevention of a crime. However, we do have a legal right to take life if necessary to protect life or even property. Which puts civilian rights as equal towards prevention of crime using either the deprivation of freedom (restraint) or life.

Just as LadyCrimson loses her interest, mine actually surfaces. Please... tell me more.

Perhaps you should say the same thing about all killers. Like the guys who condemn other people to death, for example. Indeed. It`s not about your subjective feelins. It`s about a systemic solution that indorces the taking of a life, wich is supposed to be the fundamental value of our modern society. We`re better than that so to speak lol... So, the US considers freedom to be a fundamental value of its society. Does that mean we shouldn't take freedom away from offenders? The US actually considers freedom more important that death. There is a universal "ladder" of values and "legal goods", you know. And life is above personal freedom on that ladder, no question about it. If it werent you`d execute on sight with no incarseration, detention etc. whatsoever. US may be special but you`re not that special lol. It`s now just a question weahter or not that final step of the ladder is off limits not only for an induvidual citizen but for the whole state aparatus aswell. I say it should be. There is no universal "ladder." Just because we value freedom over life doesn't mean we're going to go around killing everyone who commits an offense over incarceration. But, it does mean that if we find it reasonable to remove freedom, it is reasonable to remove life. Two of the major concepts behind our revolutionary war were liberty and representation which lead to them as founding principles of the country. Two specific things we take away from felons.

The goal of prison is detterence and reform. The death penalty is meant as deterrence. I'm making no comment on its effectiveness. I'll have to disagree there. The death penalty exists in the US because it's popular with a large part of the electorate. And it's popular with those people because they want revenge. By this logic, then all prison sentences are because of revenge.

Not that I'm pimping the 360, but those games arn't PS3 exclusives anymore Assassin's Creed hasn't been a PS3 exclusive for so long it might as well never have been. I'm officially in the Assassin's Creed anticipation group since the new trailer inspired me to look for confirmation of a PC version. I thought it was console exclusive before and didn't care.
