  1. Project: Snowblind was a Deus Ex multiplayer only sequel that dropped the Deus Ex connections after fan protest. hah
  2. Whatever happened to action-RPG FPS games, anyway? The popularity of System Shock and Deus Ex should have yielded a slew of imitators that last to today. But the last one (and only that I know of, not counting its predescessor) we got was Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. The Deus Ex sequel dropped the RPG elements, and I'd bet Bioshock has too.
  3. There's a massive community waiting in the wings for a good sci-fi MMO. What are you talking about? All the old SWG players, Planetside players, EVE players who want something with an actual character.
  4. MMORPG market isn't particularly flooded. Unless you're including the Korean ones.
  5. The discussion on the other sites (one I linked, anotehr I found through that link) seem to have a consensus that it's commercial ammo.
  6. http://confederateyankee.mu.nu/archives/237174.php Interesting. Not the first time he's done this kind of thing, apparently.
  7. Graybar Hotel is apparently a slang way of saying "prison." It's a place you stay that has gray bars.
  8. She didn't say they were shot, just that they hit. Someone threw the bullets, duh. Jesus, people!
  9. How does one end up with 3 friends on this forum before their 2nd post? Nothing's right about this, this doesn't make any sense at all!

  14. I'm pretty sure this topic started with Sweden. Why don't we get back to insulting them in regards to immigration?
  15. Not all Texans have an accent. Sure, everyone I know does, but I don't!
  16. Why can't you be a 20something beautiful woman living in Texas?

  18. Here's a statement I'd really like to take on. How do you know "the game they want to make" is not a Starcraft sequal that appeals heavily to the long term and hardcore fans? The phrase "game they want to make" is a very personal term. Just because they put some ideas out there they think sound neat doesn't mean they're essential elements to it being what they want to make. I think making changes based on community feedback is a greater indicator of what they want to make than simply what they have already made. They want to make a game for the community members they are listening to. Issues of vocal minority included because that's a well known factor all over the internet. Maybe the problem is that they're not quite making a game you want them to make. Perhaps you're wanting a Starcraft sequel that is artistically driven in its design.
  19. Is there a place with a list of these changes?
  20. Jesus Christopher Walken Christ! If you guys are going to flirt with Omelette, remember that this is the internet, not elementary school. You're supposed to be funny and awkward, not annoying.

This is NOT what I brought my popcorn for!

  22. Yeah, well fission is a source of power too, but you don't see me waltzing around in a reactor for enjoyment.
  23. Maybe we should start to follow some Socialist and Communist ways. People need to think about the great whole and not themselves. Because when people, en masse, act for themselves within reasonable limits, through competing interests they establish niches and operate for a greater group than simply themselves. When a government tries to define the greater interest, it usually only defines the greater interest for the people in government, confines its people to those ends, and results in them acting out in exclusively individual interest. The larger the government is, the more detached from its people it becomes, and the more this problem appears.
  24. I'm switching between Deus Ex, Painkiller, and reading a book. I should probably throw Final Fantasy IV Advance somewhere in there.
