  1. Actually, that's not how it works. For one, multiple sources are quite often one source redirected through multiple others. For another, this is precisely what rumors and urban legends do. They show that the spread of information through many is nowhere near as good as just having one good source. Since you're relying on having many sources, it's quite apparent that you lack even one good one.
  2. Every time one of these rumors starts, it's always someone claiming that they have a reliable source. I hope you'll excuse me if I think it's fair to continue being skeptical.
  3. See the edit. I know he has worked with Lucasarts. But that does not mean the art was necessarily done for Lucasarts. Even artists with fulltime employment make art outside their employ. Though he could have made it for a scrapped KOTOR 3. Your second statement is blatant assumption. Whether or not it's scrapped. Whether or not it was made for an actual project. If it had been scrapped, it's up to whoever the art belongs to for whether or not they'll be linked or even uploaded to his website at all. I don't oppose the idea of KOTOR 3. I oppose blatant rumormongering and the constant neverending flood of reading way too much into every magazine article, press release, company dealing, merger, or piece of concept art that leads a drove of idiots to come out and start proclaiming that THIS! THIS! Finally THIS IS THE TRUE AND REAL CONFIRMATION OF KOTOR 3 BEING IN DEVELOPMENT! Unlike the last 50 billion things that caused them all to jump on board and make wild assumptions based on little evidence. This is confirmation of nothing. If you want confirmation of KOTOR 3, wait for the press release. Stop jumping or creating rumors and trying to pass them off as fact. Pass them off as "it'd be cool" or "what do you think," anything but "CONFIRMED OMG KOTOR 3 IN PROGRESS FOR 2009-2010 RELEASE!" If these were even 2007, you might have something to get excited about. 2004 is just reaching. Concept art that old would be scrapped anyway, even if it were in production.
  4. 1. So what? 2. OH NOES! Just because he made art for KOTOR 3 does not mean he was hired to, that the game was WIP, nor does it mean that the game is still WIP. You're just rumor mongering by reading too much into something and then trying to pass it off as fact. The art is from 2004, for crying out loud. This is no different than the people who take every little release by Lucasarts and Bioware as CONFIRMATION THAT KOTOR III MMO IS IN PRODUCTION FOR 2009 RELEASE. I'm not being "negative." I'm being realistic. This is proof of nothing. Except that a guy, who occasionally has worked with Lucasarts, made some Star Wars art back in 2004. And maybe he made it for KOTOR 3. Back in 2004.
  5. 1) You're assuming these were created for a game that was WIP.2) You're assuming these belong to Lucas. Just because he has worked for Lucasarts does not mean all his art belongs to Lucasarts. That you found these means only that this individual made them. There is no importance here. Not showing does not mean "in use."
  6. This is no way equal to confirmation. Existence of concept art does not always translate into WIP. The fact that the art is from 2004 pretty much assures this is one of the cases were it does not.
  7. Suikoden V reminded me a lot of II for some reason. I really liked it, but didn't finish. I missed ONE GUY (Killey) and got nearly to the end. I have to replay it soon.
  8. I played a little more Silent Hill and decided to just watch a walkthrough over Youtube instead of playing. And I think I'm going to do the same for 2, 3, and The Room. But since Origins is pretty recent, I'll probably actually play that one!
  9. I'm supposed to be playing Apollo Justice right now. It left Dallas yesterday. Dallas is an hour away. But it didn't arrive today. God, I hate the USPS sometimes.
  10. I found out yesterday that even though I originally took too many exceptions on my taxes, I'll still be getting money back. More money back than I actually paid. yippee
  11. The destructible cover in Uncharted was pretty neat. Gears of War could definitely do with having some. Though I've always kind of been worried about destructible walls and players making shortcuts. Thinking about it, it might not be so hard to deal with as I used to think.

    LOST

It really depends on what you're looking for. I think it's as good as ever. However, it has also changed alot.
  13. Then it wouldn't really be Knights of the Old Republic, would it?
  14. I'm saying that if you're going to generalize something, try and generalize it right. Resistance is not the greatest fount of originality, but it's not burdened by the overuse of large, angry enemies with big guns. The descriptors don't match up. Unless you're looking for a game where the enemies are midgets in swimwear.
  15. w-hat? Next you'll be saying you saw big black men. "I've just got to find some way to shoehorn fighting aliens in the 1950s into a generic macho shooter."
  16. Wait, this game has coop, don't you hate it? I think you misunderstood one of my previous posts.
  17. Circuit City or Amazon.com. When I purchased my Nintendo DS at Circuit City, they gave me a Gamer's Club 10% off card. So I try to use them as much as possible when purchasing. Amazon is who I use if I decide to pre-order anything.
  18. I refuse to believe several of those shots. There's another one, very much like that, except it features two of those walkers, and planes flying in the background. You will not convince me that those planes are not painted on there. Which causes me to be highly suspect of the rest of the image.
  19. Your only an Arch-Mage now. Ooh, the writers for Gearbox's game were writers for DS9 and BSG. Ooh, one of them did the Kobol's Last Gleaming episodes.
  20. It is kind of sucky, to be honest. But not enough to ruin the game for me. I can live with the backtracking if it involves fun combat along the way. What about the platforming? Does it even dwell within the realm of frustration? Some of NG's platforming was just horrid, especially given the 3D camera. The platforming borders on nonexistant.
  21. You can't be a real poster. Whose alt are you?
  22. You don't have to own an IP to work on it. Unless they parted on not good terms, it could very well happen.
  23. Indeed, it looks very exciting. I just hope they balance out the encounters some more. The original seemed cheap sometimes. However much I love it, it was frustrating to feel that the only way to win a level was by luck or trial and error.
  24. The sequel was developed by Black Isle. O_o
  25. Whichever of you recommended Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (wooh, typed it right my first try), I'm going to hold you responsible if I spit out my tea all over my monitor and keyboards. Tears. Tears of laughter.
