  1. As I study some linear algebra, I say thanks for this! Hehe. Finally someone gets the lovely joke. EDIT: "grab a large iron skillet" I'm not sure if he's being racist or gluttonous. I got the joke. It was the first thing I saw when I read the thread title. But thought it too obvious. burn
  2. I had a very hard time playing with the Dark Eldar. Their anti-armor seems terrible. But this could be due to not having played much with them. Learning curve, as it where. They're terrificly fast, though, with a transport they can attack from.
  3. Yeah, but you like men, so you don't count.
  4. How can anyone say the 360 is superior to the likes of PS1 and PS2? She-nan-igans
  5. "Offenders will be severely punished."
  6. Laughing out loud at work.
  7. I remember World War II. That was a real war. Not like this here Iraq war or this "war on terror." Why, when me and the boys stormed the beaches on D-Day, we knew real TERROR. We didn't declare war on it, we were too busy fighting real enemies, the Germans!

  9. I prefer Garfield with Garfield, but without Garfield talking. It's so much more funny when you realize John is talking to a cat who's just a frickin cat.
  10. Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney case 4 is so far the 2nd best case in the series. And by "2nd best," I actually mean "1st best, but I'm witholding final judgement."
  11. I'm not sure how I feel yet. The campaign itself doesn't feel significantly different from Dark Crusade. I've only played one battle with the Sisters of Battle, so I won't say anything there. It was the tutorial. The changes to the Necrons seem minor. One bit I do like is that the power generators have little lights on them indicating how close they are to being used up. The new "unit" for Necron is something I'm undecided on. When you research the Nightbringer, you also get acess to a Deceiver option for your Necron Lord. The Deceiver has a very weak ranged attack, can turn an enemy to your side for a period of time, and an illusionary Monolith. It's nice, but to use it, you have to forgo the Nightbringer, so it feels more like a new ability than a new unit. I played one battle with the Dark Eldar and they were hard to get used to. They are very different from any current race. They have a set and forget build system, which you may have seen in other games. Once a worker starts a building he can be reassigned, which also means you can't speed it up. Though it seems worker downtime can be used for the harvesting of souls or whatever the new Dark Eldar resource is called.
  12. Best episodes are anything with Jessie, amirite?
  13. I wonder what's up with royalties for Soulstorm now. *gulp* ... What about PATCHES?!
  14. And guess what I'm playing... Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney I applaud you, excellent choice.
  15. Only things I can comment on so far: The title movie was nowhere near as good as Dark Crusade's, but not nearly as bad as the original Dawn of War's. The background movie when starting the campaign was just silly. Of course, there was really no way around it, they had to explain what 9 races were doing on four planets. Well, these guys were here, these were here, these were here, and then came, and then and then and then.... Oh and also, Gorgutz has to be the official hero of the series.
  16. When I play with friends I try to keep it as comp stomp games. Although back in The Frozen Throne beta I'd play in max number player games split into two teams. And still would get taken out first.
  17. Inversely. Lower wavelengths are more dangerous. Even for other living things than eyes. Which is why you hear more about needing protection from UV than IR. Lower wavelengths are more energetic.
  18. I never bother with multiplayer in strategy games. Which is why I pretty much demand an interesting campaign.
  19. Yes, Blu-Ray players are 405nm. But that's a measurement of their wavelength, not power. I can find nothing about specifics in power. It probably varies from device to device. I imagine it shouldn't need as much to do its job as a DVD-R. But I also imagine that any Blu-Ray burner would also get up there.
  20. I got it, too. Installing.
  21. extended version? so another 2 hours of walking then? don't get me wrong, i liked the movies (the first time i watched them) trying to sit through them again was a bit of a yawn-fest though last movie i watched was Bubba Ho Tep (on the advice of my brother) Bruce Campbell as Elvis... How can someone not like The Lord of the Rings trilogy? I'm dying for the hi-def extended edition releases.
  22. It has got to be more damaging. It's running at a far shorter wavelength than DVD and CD. I've never heard anything about them being in yet a lower power class than DVD. But I've not looked into that at all. Maybe I will! Edit: I can only find very little information on it. Someone once said they saw a Blu-Ray player with a class 2 label. And wikipedia refers to DVD burners (note: burners, though) as III and IV! So yeah. It shouldn't be as damaging. Until you pump more energy into it.
  23. Guess what today is.
  24. Fair enough, Archie. I am unforgettable to women.
