  1. That isn't some statement that was made a year ago or so and given time for them to change their minds. Criterion has said that this month. Don't try to overanalyze the list and what's included and what's not. Simply some things are included that are being worked on, some things are included that aren't being worked on. And some things are not included that fit into both those categories as well. What is and was not included is probably not of importance or the result of long thoughtful analysis and consideration.
  2. Yes, because those things need to touch on it directly. Why, I recall all the Revan references in Episode III clearly.
  3. Not really: Bioware's entries don't include stuff like Jade Empire - only things they are working on plus KOTOR, which they also may be working on. Criterion's includes Black. A game from 2006 that Criterion has said they're not making another of. Bioware's entries don't include stuff like Sonic RPG. A game they are most definitely working on. It's a non-comprehensive list of properties that the studios have been involved with or are working on. Though some of the games on there are definitely unreleased games and I'm not saying it's not possible.
  4. I thought it was a credible rumor until I saw Pop's image. This is just a list of title's that the studios have worked on, not what they're going to release or are currently working on.
  5. I wasn't disagreeing. I was mocking for such a shallow and useless answer. Though I think it was bad form to canonize either playthrough instead of simply establishing all playthroughs as valid.
  6. It's a pleasure to meet you, LucasArts.
  7. They learned from Halo 2 and Shadowrun flopping on the PC. And then the only excuse was Windows Live, which has since transitioned to XP. DX 10 is no excuse since 360 doesn't use it.
  8. And from what i've heard, it was about Bioware compromising between no load times (=texture pop-ups) and load times (= no texture pop-ups). This is due to the lack of HDD on the Xbox360 that made them stream the textures from the disc. With a HDD, there shouldn't be any problems, fortunately From what I've seen Bioshock on the PC also has it and a little bit of it appears in Gears of War PC.
  9. Get over the fact that they don't brand like you think they should.
  10. Or maybe you can get over it. Even timed exclusives often have such.
  11. It's only pathetic if you think it is. I'm not much different, but I hate being around people. I don't "chicken out" about going out, I just recall getting annoyed every single time I did. I just can't be buggered. Annoying, loud, smelly bar? Or... VIDYA GAMES!
  12. Oftentimes when people speak of "exclusive" they mean console exclusive.
  13. How is light Revan canon?
  14. I can run Gears of War and Bioshock just fine. So I have little fear here.
  15. *pets the kitty*

  16. TV, movies, and news are all political fronts, why should video games be exempt? At least they're being open about it.
  17. You're talking to a guy who firmly believes that nearly any argument about "immersion" is, on its face, reaching. I understand the concept and the goal, but as it is commonly presented (as distinct from simply engrossing), it is nonsense. And I really shouldn't go into that schpiel.
  18. Fudge yes, the only game I gave a crap about on the 360 is coming to PC with enhancements.
  19. I'd prefer something closer to Grim Fandango than a new Bloodlines. You did mention Dead Like Me and it seems the closer of the two. It's a more interesting afterlife instead of just being Vampire fantasy. I like my dead people to have normal problems in addition to having to hide the fact that they're dead. But I also prefer comedy.
  20. Tried to get in some Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. I remember why I had such a hard time with the game at first. I should probably use that radar more. I can't wait for the Essentials collection. I need the new Subsistance camera angles, as well.
  21. I'm only in this thread because I saw the words immersion and MGS3. Y MGS3 3 anyone who talks about immersion
  22. Gundam 00 - episode 18 It seems obvious what direction they're going with this. It seemed obvious since the new characters were introduced if you pay attention to the intro. However, the preview makes it look like episode 19 isn't going to be the balls to the wall moment I'm anticipating. It's a good series and it's moving forward quite quickly. I can't make up my mind as to if it's moving forward too quickly or if it likes to move forward a bit then quickly jump right back. When interesting things happen, you're not sure if it's development or delay. You just kind of hope they'll get back to that later.
  23. I bought Rogue Galaxy and Devil May Cry 3. Had a $10 gift card and my gamer's club 10% off, in total, I spent less than $30. Rogue Galaxy is promising. Devil May Cry 3 is not as fun as I'd hoped, but that might be because Nero spoiled me in 4.
  24. I've watched two episodes of the first volume of Devil May Cry that came with my DMC4 CE. It's good, but no serious hint of an arc. If that doesn't change, I will very likely not get volume 2.
