It's a bit out of context, but would you believe it is George Lucas making those statements in 1988? http://www.toplessrobot.com/2011/09/1988_g..._george_luc.php

Basic question on triggering ability
Tale replied to Sylss's question in Dungeon Siege III: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hold block to access defensive. -
10-16 year olds wouldn't even know Final Fantasy VII. And were only just born-9 when X came out. I don't see how that claim is supported. People who like a game most are generally going to have been the target audience when it was released.

Finished Chaos Rising. Moved to Retribution. I'm losing steam to keep playing. Chaos Rising seems to have been the best campaign so far. It was shorter, but the plot was more interesting and the characters had lots more to say. Also tried out Wing Commander III from GOG. It seems to be flaky with a 360 pad for joystick, sometimes completely ignoring directions for unknown reasons. Switched to mouse and it's much smoother. But the gameplay isn't very exciting.

But it is the whiniest.

I hope they got "I don't want to set the world on fire." That would be satisfactory.

Is this the character from those live action shorts with Felicia Day?

One guy did a 92 pound slab of stone. Yeah. (warning, lots of men without their shirts) http://www.odditycentral.com/pics/human-ma...in-vietnam.html Which demonstrates two things. One, it can get very sticky. Two, it isn't magnetism.

Chris Farley was pretty funny for his day, but I hardly see what it has to do with spoofs.

Old trick/con. It's called not bathing. Seriously. Previous people who claimed it were debunked by Randi. Put some talcum powder on them and it ceases to work.

The Wayans were only involved with the first two Scary Movie spoofs. The rest were done Friedberg and Seltzer, who co-wrote the first Scary Movie. They even advertised one of the movies back in the day as being by "a couple of guys who helped write Scary Movie." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Friedbe...d_Aaron_Seltzer It's slightly worth noting that Friedberg and Seltzer had no involvement in Superhero Movie. As a result, it's almost watchable.

Religion causes Chic-Fil-A to be closed on Sundays. Point against religion. Because Sunday is the day I want it most.

Not even the source material, since they don't even watch their source material. And often are producing it at the same time as the source, so they couldn't if they wanted.

How should I be playing Anjali?
Tale replied to SilentBob420BMFJ's topic in Dungeon Siege III: General Discussion
I mainly only used block to get stance abilities. I think I only specifically used it for damage reduction in the mines, when people shoot at you as you are on the floating platforms. You can expend power spheres when using defense stance abilties. That may be what you're referring to. -
There should be an EDIT button right next to + QUOTE and "REPLY." I do not recall if we have a time limit on editing or not, that may be preventing you from doing it to your earlier posts.

I've actually started to really enjoy Dawn of War 2. I stopped using cover and I only attack move. Helps that my guys are all level 17 or so now. My Force Commander can take on the enemy armies by himself. My ranged guys will automatically move forward if they lose range.

Let us get back on track. Before this gets permanently sidetracked into discussion of who may or may not be alts. What's the latest update on Libya?

It's a legal requirement. At least for the US. I don't understand why Steam, which has my age in my profile, still makes me verify it all the time. It's something about the law. Someone asked the question pretty much like you commented. And a Valve employee responded on their forums with "It's a legal requirement." So, maybe they're not allowed to use that stored data. Or they have to check every time.

Trying to play Dawn of War 2, since I own it and both expansions, but have never even gotten through even the first campaign halfway. It's a struggle. I can't say I enjoy this campaign even a little. I wish they had cheat codes so I could plow through it like I do when other RTS games get too tedious. Usually that's only later maps and defense maps. It's kind of every map for this game. I'm sick of using the same four units... every...single...map. And having to set up their flaky cover points every five feet. Only for the ranged guys to automatically lose range 5 seconds into every fight. But I want to see what happens.

Only if they hate the franchise. They seem best with IPs they don't like.

So, does humanity in the end triumph over da bed alienz?

Only time I really care for it is when it gives you access to customized equipment. Like NWN2, it's how you could get Adamantine Daggers. Just as an alternative to loot. Though the ideal for me is shops that have good variety, or even smiths that do custom orders so I don't have to haul around crafting supplies the entire game just in case it needs all 12 emeralds that exist or whatnot. I guess that's my complaint against crafting systems. I can't trust them. If you find an ingredient for crafting, save it until the very end, because there's no telling if the infinity +1 sword requires all of any particular component. It provides a fair mastery system on subsequent runs, but I don't think it outweighs the distraction.

Finished Resistance 3. Didn't particularly like it. The very last area was pretty good. But most of the game was about popping out for a second to take potshots at long range. Doesn't really excite me in a game.

I rented Resistance 3. After hating Resistance 2, I decided I wouldn't buy 3, but still would like to know how this ends. Also, I fear my computer graphics card may be dying. Today and yesterday I got an issue while playing Space Marine where my character model would get frozen in a position (a bit more complicated than that, but that's it generally). And my menus turned all black. Hoping that's just a software bug, not hardware errors. The fact that it doesn't continue after exiting the current match leaves me some hope. Dusted the inside of the machine just to be sure.
