I don't think they quite nailed the PC controls for Bastion. WASD operates as you'd expect, W is up, D is right. The problem is that the maps are angled and not quite 45 degrees. So you can't follow a path without juggling W and D. Maybe it's the best they could do, but I had to switch to a gamepad. Otherwise it's fun.

Wait, there are people born after 1990? No bueno. Anyway, my car has been in the shop for what seems like a month now. The problem? A frickin' taillight won't shut off. It kills my battery. A TAIL LIGHT has put my car out of commission for this long.

The corruption of the government inevitably leans towards the corporate corruption. The government favors the corporate. But at least, in the meantime, the government will do things like creating roads. Cut out the government and directly bow to the corporate, and the only thing you've done is lost roads.

So it's Warhammer again. Apparently everyone thinks I ask rhetorical questions. I was wondering if it was an original IP. Or, alternatively, what IP the new MMO was going to be. Didn't think they'd do a second Warhammer so soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if the UK lock is to protect the UK collector's edition exclusivity. Blasted brits and their cool toys.

There are three regions. UK, Russia, and rest of the world. If you buy UK or Russia, you must be in those regions to activate. I saw a post that the lock is limited to activation, as well, so you can move out of those countries after the activation and still have access.

I'll pay special attention to the crates.

I'd love to see the rest of those slides. Unless maybe it was entirely a speech with just the one slide. In which case, I wonder if there's a video or audio floating out there.

I might check it out tonight. Today is Bastion's PC release, don't know if I'll drag myself away from it. Is it in a similar vein to Painkiller and Serious Sam? Trying to say it's not like COD is meaningless to me, because I haven't played COD since 2.

Give the demo a shot. I genuinely wanna know what people think, as for over hyped, I mean WTF? Really? Is the demo out now? I'd like to give it a look, at least, but so few people are talking about it (pretty much just you) on the internet that I figured it was a long ways away.

And the sale of Cryptic to Perfect World is causing Neverwinter to delay. Saw that coming. Though apparently not for the right reason. Seems Perfect World is involved in the development, but are wanting to do more with it. I had assumed that it would just go into limbo.

Only fiasco for Kane and Lynch I recall were allegations of paid reviews due to the firing of one reviewer who reviewed it poorly while Gamespot had the ad plastered as a site theme. Not any significant marketing effort.

With him following it by reducing his price and the price of future titles. The pricing was always my problem with Spiderweb. I may buy my first game from them now.

I have 52.1 hrs clocked and I enjoy it. If you're the type that enjoys just building stuff, I can easily recommend it. Not sure I can recommend it on the value of the dungeon delving.

I should find a new server, really. I've been regularing a 24/7 2Fort instant respawn forever. But I: 1) hate instant respawn 2) hate 24/7 servers 3) hate instant respawn The sad part is that before I regulared this one, I regulared a 24/7 2Fort no crit server. Where I hate no crit more than instant respawn. But every time I find a server with default settings and a good rotation, it ends up being dead during off hours. This server is active all of the time.

Penny Arcade has a new layout. I'm scared. I don't know how to handle change.

Hope you like hats It's been quite an experience to see TF2 go from vanilla to what it is now. Do you play? Whats the crowd like? I play. The server I regular has a good crowd, can't speak to pub hopping. It is pretty laid back and casual. Somewhat well admined.
