Untrue. Criminality is much higher in poor areas of society than in rich areas of society. This is the fact in every city, in every country all over the world. The more a person feels rejected by the society he/she lives in, the easier it is for said person to commit a crime against that society. Most people don't become criminals because they are too lazy to work (which is what you're insinuating), it's because they feel they are being treated unfairly by society and thus doesn't care for society. Rich people could add a few million to their bank accounts by robbing banks too, instead of having to work 12 hours every day. So why don't they? Crooked rich people just find safer ways to rob you.

If the zombies attack I'm going right to Obsidian to barricade the place and defend it while they continue their efforts completing an RPG that will cure the zombie pandemic. I might also do that if I only perceive a zombie pandemic, which has happened several times before, so heads up Obsidian.

I have a friend who was drinking a bottle of Nesquik milk in a plastic bottle and he drank about have of the thing only to find an enormous, bloated, rotting fly floating at the top of his milk. He figures he probably drank at least part of it.

I managed to get through a whole Olympics without watching any of it. Best Olympics ever.

Alan Moore, who did Watchmen, has done some other pretty amazing work. From Hell is a dark telling of the Jack the Ripper murders. V for Vendetta the comic is superior to the movie. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is far, far, far superior to the POS movie but I actually think it's the weaker of Moore's work. Transmetropolitan is a very fun comic. If you like Batman, which I don't really, look up The Long Halloween and The Dark Knight Returns. Hellboy and The Goon are both very fun--the latter is dark goofy funny in a sort of Sam and Max way, but even darker. Another worth mentioning is Maus, which is one of those things you never would have expected to be done in comic form. It's a biographical account of the author's father's experiences as a Holocaust/death camp survivor--it's really heavy stuff though you wouldn't expect it because everyone is drawn as a cartoon mouse.

I still haven't watched even a minute of the Olympics so far.

Yeah they have a "landmark" called the Devil's Hole. That just sounded wonderfully interesting so I hiked miles up a hill to see...this. Not my video, but you get the idea. Basically a cave. When I saw it they had a statue of Satan in there.

I would have shot the **** out of that guy. Getting back to the original topic, I was in Jersey a few years ago and I could just tell that something sinister was happening on that little island. The people all muttered strange things under their breath and they had fishy eyes and smelled of blood sacrifice. While hiking in the woods I even discovered a statue of Satan in a pond. Of course, it was in the travel brochure...
