  1. I also didn't like the soul whip VFX in POE either, Also didn't like most lash VFX either.
  2. I personly don't feel strongly about any ME game one way or the other(including ME:A). Don't hate any them, but none of them left an impression on me.
  3. I am but because of my bad internet I'll likely finish downloading the game by the 9th. And yes won't be touching these forums for a week after the release at least. Doubt anything major is gonna be spoiled pre release and browsing these forums keeps the hype in check.
  4. well I can see and respect your point, I 100% agree that the system isn't interesting now and honestly, I'd prefer a better one or no resting at all. Am just not sure I agree with your vision for fixing it but hey to each his own.
  5. yeah but if those ferquent injurys carry any sort of debuff like the current ones they'll just push people to rest after every fight because hardtack is everywhere so that isn't ideal either. If like health they are just a measure of how close you are to dying without any debuffs then maybe it could work sicne fighting with them won't be a huge disadvantage.
  6. Yes but acquiring injuries randomly in battle like tyranny doesn't feel good at all because the players doesn't have much control on minimising them through good tactics.
  7. Well most injurys are still worse than the +2 might or similar buffs the average food seems to give (the rare food is obviously gonna be left for bosses) so I see no reason to not remove them with one of the hundreds hardtacks you find around. Although you make fair point about the case when asingle character in the party is injured, I dunno though I guess we'll see on the 8th.
  8. whichever has better self buffs between the transmuter and the enchanter.
  9. I like the components of the system overall(using food at rest, empower as a concept etc...) but I think they're put together in a way that kinda the entire thing pointless, my main grip is generally the abundance of food to which point Injurys don't meaning anything, I know they want us to value food buffs enough not to rest spam but from the beta and the streams I saw that doesn't seem to be the case, I just don't see myself ever going into a fight with an injury now which again makes them pointless and not to beat a dead horse but that migth've not been the case with the health/endurance system. But I think injurys could work too with a better ressource balance. My personal fix during my playthrough on the 8th would be to ignore hardtack as a resting ressource as a personal challenge in order to add more of a ressource mangement aspect to the system. So what's everybody else opinion about this?
  10. they fixed her jaw apparently. Still think the poe1 portrait has more "personality" though.
  11. In theory if you're playign a wizard that all he does is nuke stuff, wouldn't the evoker be slightly appealing at least? Can't think of a reason to pick any of the other 4 though, if summoned weapons got a bonus damaged based on power level then maybe conjurer is decent but from what I know only their duration increases with power leel which is pretty meh.
  12. probablly 2 pure casters at least, for no other reason that I find them much more fun than martial classes.
  13. Well early review copies and that kind of tweet are both good signs.
  14. And yet it is constantly compared. The last 10 articles I read on gaming sites about Pillars 2, had Divinity mentioned in it. Which is also the only reason why I brought it up. I'm not here often enough/read enough to know what people usually do here. Real reviewers? Reviewers shape opinions whether you consider them real or not. Trust me on this. Not to mention this https://twitter.com/jesawyer/status/911663832732278784 DOS2 is currently the best selling modern CRPG. To say that DOS2 didn't have any influence at all for the full voice acting decision is a bit asinine. Everyday we stray further from the light of Eothas The price of crossing a god....
  15. Nope those are only for me, my pets and "escorts".
  16. True I first Played POE for the story but I have 5-6 playthroughs because of the combat, I much much prefer it to DOS1 or 2 combat.
  17. Might may not be perfectly implemented now but the current system is still much better than the RES/STR version which IMO was the worst version of POE stats.
  18. Gear looks awesome, my favorite items in POE were ones that gave you abilities.
  19. The only case where the cut-content accusation is plausible is with day 1 DLCs that aren't cosmetic or just pay-to-win stuff but actual content, obviously this isn't the case here.
  20. my only problem with this DLC announcement is that it means we likely won't get another massive overhauling expasion like WM, but if these 3 DLCs are anything like the NV ones then am cool with it (even though I would still prefer a large expansion).
  21. I allways assumed C stood for ccomputer or(much less likely) classic.
  22. Might in POE1 was not a god stat really, not through the entire game at least. Multiplicative might on the other hand in POE2 am not sure about, That said it's still better than the strength who was opposed to the entire design philosophy of the game.
