  1. I don't have the beta but when the 15th hits I'll be on....oh yes!
  2. As far as mods are concerned I recommend the rod of party buffing which instantly buffs your party with whatever spells you choose without going through the painful process of doing it manually every encounter.
  3. Some blurb. Unlike 2K Marin's previously announced XCOM shooter, which sparked tempers among longtime fans for turning its back on the series' cerebral roots, this title is a full-on strategy game that puts players in command of a global anti-alien defense force. XCOM's leader needs a worldwide perspective where threats are identified, populations reassured, and national leaders mollified
  4. Fireaxis are remaking XCom in the traditional style! Woo! http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-01-...known-announced
  5. That's a pretty good list imo...I own all of those except FONV and agree with a lot of your choices.
  6. The original Stronghold games are great fun...and cheap!
  7. I heard about this movie years ago in high school...not sure if I would want to watch it.
  8. Serpent Isle was my first ever RPG...it took me around 5 years to actually pass the knight's test in that game (bloody secret doors!). I used to just wander around aimlessly, cheatmapping my way around the island looking at all the weird and wonderful sights. Then I found out how to pass the test and the whole plot opened up...great game!
  9. And if you put a basket on the head of a shopkeeper you can steal stuff with impunity apparently!
  10. Did you play through by yourself? I put a few hours into Borderlands but I always felt like I wasn't really playing the game properly since I wasn't playing it co-op.
  11. Harrison Ford playing Uncharted 3. *spoilers*
  12. Currently playing Homm 6 and Natural Selection 2...have not formed a solid opinion on either as of yet.
  13. Zimmer also did the music for Crysis 2.
  14. The Obsidian devs promised they would patch keybinding in.
  15. Not even a little? Bashing multiple enemies with your sword and using special moves feels like a beat-em-up to me. I would imagine this feel is lost on a mouse and keyboard somewhat but I don't care cos I have an Xbox controller. This is at early levels, mind, but I hope the feel is the same further down the road.
  16. Is anyone else getting a 'Double Dragon' or 'Final Fight' kind of vibe from DS3? I'm playing as Lucas and it has that kind of feel that I really like...like an old skool beat-em-up.
  17. Who cares about the crates?! What we really need to know is can you bake bread?
  18. DS3 is out on Steam in the UK...it's decrypting the files right now!
  19. Can someone clarify...is it possible to play this game on PC with an Xbox controller?
  20. No reviews for DNF and it goes public in 4 hours...my sucky sense is tingling.
  21. Is it a bad idea to start W2 before finishing W1?
  22. I can confirm that the selection process was completely fair and unbiased in every way. I think getting Amnesia is more like losing anyway Enjoy the nightmares! Yeah, yeah, can't be any worse than what Thief did to me. Stupid Hammer Haunts. If you thought the Hammerites were scary try the Shalebridge Cradle from Thief 3. Scarier than Amnesia?
  23. Are you going to use a real tombola to decide the winners? Because that would be awesome.
