I think at this point we are only waiting for the official turn-based mode, and the final God's challange, which everyone thinks will be the Ultimate Challenge - which involves activating all the God Challenges, Solo, PoTD, etc. Content-wise the game is complete otherwise Edit: Maybe another megaboss?

I would play a historical RPG - sounds fun tell me more ... actually I would play any RPG from Obsidian not really into first person games so will skip TOW. Why not a D&D 5e game, I mean purely speculating but Microsoft could definitely afford the license rights ... One has to be coming down the pipeline sooner or later, am curious if Larian is working on it though??

In terms of bugs, it has to be the complicated coding that adds the most, I use Video editing software daily and the most popular platform, which also is the most complex, always has a variety of different bugs - you literally can't get rid of them all, no matter which version of the editing software you are using. So it also isn't just regulated to video games - I think any complex program runs into issues - especially when it is a technology race to deliver new features every new version, or every game. Also, there is a rule of thumb I have in regards to video editing systems, you can expect your system to crash at least once a day ... that is okay by my standards - if it crashing 2 to 3 times a day, then you need to figure out what's going wrong. It is funny because editors if they find a stable version that works well on their system, they refuse to upgrade. I literally know people using systems that were designed 10 years ago since they have found a happy medium for their style of pushing buttons and mouse clicks. It doesn't matter that they can get way more out of their system and the program with all the new features that have been added. For a software company to stay competitive though the company needs to keep innovating and pushing the envelope. I personally enjoy the new features and like to track the upgrades and progress. I am also a sucker for computers with a lot of capability. But the real kicker, its not like different versions are better than others or more stable, they all are pretty stable in the larger sense - some are worse than others but they get patched constantly, but depending on how you use the interface and features, some people experience different issues.

Oh, I might be confused when you said cast, my character still has the same Grave Calling stuck for awhile now - never seen it before with item cast abilities, but I could be getting confused when you say cast. If you have a save you should provide it too!! I should check if I am actually getting the bonus when I attack, or if it is just a cosmetic bug. It is similar to having multiple pet effects even though you just have one pet slot (not counting Eder's, didn't do that Berath Blessing).

For fun I was thinking Aldori Defender 8 / Duelist 7 / Sword Saint 5 ... that way you get a huge bonus for fighting defensively I think it is +7 AC (+3 dodge w/3 mobility ranks normally + 2 steel net from Aldori Defender + 2 elaborate defense from Duelist) with only a -2 penalty to attack from the Steel Net bonus. I don't know, I went more ranks into alchemist which was fun too!! But in general if you go Sword Saint and Duelist you get a huge AC bonus because each uses Canny Defense and the dodge bonus stacks. -
I think Eothas stepped on one of my prisoners, that poor baron ... I always meant to release him but I only got one chance to sell him back to his relatives. After that all options were done I think, or maybe I just refused to release him hoping for some extra cash. I never had anyone escape!! I didn't even know that was a thing.

Strange, I thought -
In all fairness, I respect your opinion, but am sad you won't call it booty ... but honest a lot of people see POE2 and critique compared to D&D. I also respect Boeroer's opinion and a lot of others' opinions, and knowledge of the game a lot. I think way back when playing POE, I stole a build for a Rogue off the forums that they kept discussing - before I even started posting on the forum. It changed everything and opened my eyes a lot - I mean I already liked POE but it really blew my mind what everyone was doing with weapons and builds and such, never saw anything like it and to say the least it was humbling. It took a lot of reading the game descriptions and weapons descriptions, ability descriptions and etc but I finally in POE2 started to get a better understanding ... I mostly refuse to read build strategies, walkthroughs and such, because I like to figure them out for myself. You seem the same with some of your earlier comments when it comes to exploring the game - plus the fact you like RPGs says a lot. HAHA pretty good discussion, but I think POE2 is pretty unique in its approach and of course they can improve and will, but lets make the right improvements. Sure make it so there is 3-4 unique's for everyone weapon fine I don't think it needs it but many people do. Sure let's make a dagger a little more general in its usage, but not to the point where it is totally overpowered and everyone uses that same weapon for every build. Heck maybe even lets bring crafting back from POE (never gonna happen But let's not take away what truly makes the game standout from other RPGs, that would just be criminal, let's make it so the loot keeps its unique coolness. That's my presidential political speech ... Edit: I think the trick is to stack the 20 percent crit if you can so it becomes like 45 percent, now we are talking (I am not sure that is possible might be talking too soon again)

I would point out that loot in 90s RPGs was pretty atrocious compared to POE1 or POE2. Even looking back to FF1 the loot was even more specialized for characters. Maybe it was FF3 that really started to open up loot, but I remember JRPGs always put more emphasis on it than even the D&D games. So its funny to me that you mention loot messing up the genre, not sure that is ultimately a correct look back at RPGs. Could also be one of the reasons I hate a superfluous of magic nick-knacks, too and why I think POE2 is pretty innovative and forward thinking when it comes to loot. They did a great job making magic weapons fun, but not the point of the game. I would also mention it is pretty easy to figure out the magic arms in POE2 ... I mean come on it isn't that esoteric. I mean a superb weapons that gives you an added bonus ... that speaks pretty plain to me.
