The Official Akari Thank You Thread
Dark Wanderer replied to jaguars4ever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thanks, Akari! Haven't asked you many questions myself, but nonetheless I've seen you answer many good questions from other people here in a manner that made me (and hopefully others) really look forward to this game! . -
I don't know if Sion is better storywise or not, but I think one has to give Sion credit for his unusal looks, if nothing else

Hehe, we might be doing that indeed . But it has still created an interesting discussion, hasn't it? :D. -
Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
She did that, yes. But a strong Dark Jedi could probably do the same without a powerful relic such as the Scepter of Ragnos. But the question is: Will we be able to do soemthing simialr or not? I shouldn't think so, but why else the "dark side"-appearence of the party members on the homepage? ... Of course, it could all be just symbiolic... -

Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
May I assume that you mean "waste" there? Anyway, I kinda think so too. I mean, it kinda makes it all seem too... simple if you can just make Dark jedi out of people like that in a few minutes or so <_<. But then, again, I, at least, don't know what possible consequences there could be by doing that. Perhaps, among Dark Jedi this method isn't preferable expect for in emergencis for several reasons; perhaps the subjects become instabile or risk death because of the sudden and complete corruption or perhaps they will not be as strong in the Force as someone with proper training would have been... Or soemthing else. -
Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmm, I just throught of something that COULD solve the debate of "Non-force-users not being able to be affected by the dark side so much that it changes their physical appearence" thing... In the "Dark Empire II" comic, Palpatine used the Force to make some of his followers into dark jedi. It could be speculated whenever they were Force sensentive to begin with or not, but what matters is that he apparently used the Force to make some people who had apparently never used the Force before, as far as I know, at least, and their physical appearence changed after this. So, it seems possible for the Force to corrupt someone who is not a Jedi if it is done so by a dark jedi or dark force user... -
What extra feature should the PC version have?

I'd like a new area/location with one or two side-quests... -
Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Nothing to be worried about . I think pretty much all of us here knows more of Star Wars than the average person does Hmm, that doesn't fit with the image of at least a few of the dark jedi we've encountered. But I suppose that we should assume that at least some of them knows that they're evil **** (pardon my Klatchian) . Well, if his way of thinking wasn't it... Unless, of course, his insanity had something to do with it. But what about his deeds, then? He did quite a few evil things, but we also saw that he saved the lives of a few people and to me it seemed like C'Baoth disliked to have to kill some one unless it was the very last choice there was... -
Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The evil C'Baoth was a clone. So maybe the cloning part of it has something to do with that. The real C'Baoth was a Jedi Master. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Perhaps so. Or perhaps it all has to do with C'Baoth's way of thinking. HE did not think himself evil, or his actions went in and out of the dark/light side so often that he never really sank as deep in the Dark Side as some of the worst dark jedi we've come to know in the Star Wars universite did. -
Something I don't understand...
Dark Wanderer replied to Oerwinde's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hmm, funny thing is also that the physical appearence of some dark force users haven't been that effected... but perhaps, they weren't that deep in the dark side... (Thinking of C'Baoth...) -
Feedback on Official KotOR2 site
Dark Wanderer replied to SmkJaguar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
To me (and perhaps others), it's a surpise that the situation isn't the reverse.. Yes, you can't really judge people by their looks, but Sion doesn't look like an assassin and "Nihilus" (better calling him that rather than "the mask guy", even if the name isn't confirmed) doesn't look like a marauder <_<. Then, again, we have NO idea of how strong "Nihilus" is, nor what kind of personailty he has... -
What do you wish were added to the new site?

A few thoughts on new info...
Dark Wanderer replied to Darth_Gandalf's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Like...? No game I'm waiting for will be released within the next two months, so imagine how starved I am now.. . -
looking forward to it much enough to visit the forum almost daily, but I'm keeping things cool; I have other games to play and other stuff to do besides worrying for KOTOR 2, so I ain't going to go crazy until the game is out :D.

What of the Ancient Sith lords
Dark Wanderer replied to Darth Reven's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Indeed, it's not entirely impossible that someone'll make a comic about Tulak Hord and Ajunta Pall. It would be cool if that happened, anyway :D. -
Yup . VEry good plot idea, even if I imagine that it isn't what they've used . I dunno if they'd make a cutscene like that, through. It has been confirmed that we'll see events of the "now" happening elsewhere through cutscenes, but seeing the past would in a way be like a flashback and the devs have said AFAIK that there will be no "flashbacks" in the game... That Revan and Malak might have known or even meet Bastila before the war is also interesting speculation, but I dunno if it's really possible.. Hmm...

Another Storyline Theory
Dark Wanderer replied to Sabahattin Dere's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yep . Since having contact with other Sith Lords are mentioned (as a speculation, I mean), it'd be cool if we could do like this: first we take an apparentice of our own. Then we accept Darth Sion's invitation as an apparentice to him. After that, we send our apparentice to another Sith Lord whereas he/she offers to become his/her apparentice. Then through false reports and the like, we manipulate the two Sith Lords into confronting each others before they're ready, then we sit back and watch as the two fractions slaughter each others and afterwards we and our apparentice take care of any survivors of the battle, thus we now have only one Sith Lord left (and the Republic, eventually) :D. -
Another Storyline Theory
Dark Wanderer replied to Sabahattin Dere's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Main Character: "Queen, this is my apparentice, Darth Mira. She'll take care of the problems you're facing on Onderon until I have time to come myself" .
