  1. Oki doki! Well my questions aren't many. I've just got four I can remember that I have for the tiem being: About Diablere: First, would anyone know if you'd diablered another vampire? I mean, from what Jack and LaCroix says, it seems like it's illegal as hell, but would it be that hard for anyone to do it secretly, or would others notice soemthing new about you? Of course, I assume that thye might notice that the character in question has new powers, but I assume that they'd out of courtesty/politeness assume that those powers were learnt from another vampire, not through diablere... Secondly..If a vampire of a younger generation is diablerized, what happens then? Jack only mentions the effect of sucking out an older vampire... About gouls: first, I wonder: from what I've heard a ghoul is so dependent on the blood of his/her master that without a regualr supply of it, then he/she will die. Is that true? If so, doesn't refusing Heather into your service mean that you still sentence her to death? Secondly does a ghoul gain some features or the like of his/her master? Like, do ghouls of nosferatu gain soem changes in their appearence (thinking of Knox's yellow eyes here) or behaviour (thinking of the ghouls at Grout's mansion, assuming that they were ghouls and not just escaped madmens or were mad before they got Grout's blood)? That's it!
  2. Basically, but the meta got so much for me I just lost all of the plots eventually for Werewolf and Mage. I followed Vampire relatively closely however, so I never quite got entirely out of the loop for it. I do admit I have the Hunter, Mummy and Wraith books too, but I never did anything more than just read them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I see. well, would you mind if I asked a few WoD related questions then? Since they're about vampires, it shouldn't be too difficult if you're most familiar with them...
  3. You mean this?: http://www.patman.org/wod/resources/gehenna.asp
  4. Never quite happened to me, the game got a little slowed at times, but it usually did not last for very long. At least, I never remember being killed because of this. Yeah, sometimes those things have happened to me too. sometimes the dialouge gets slowed and the sound suddenly doesn't match the mounths, just as you say. and of course, the load-times are long enoug for me to often keep a book nearby to read while the game loads...
  5. I see.. So your knowledge of the WoD is pretty thin? ^^;;. I see. So your WoD is pretty broad?
  6. :D. ad the games gotten out at the same time, I'd not have minded it . But was your problems with Bloodlines major or minor ones? I admit that my Bloodlines isn't flawless; there's the SOL bug and the Beckett-bug as the major ones and a small amount of minor ones; Sealth kill not working when using Obsfucate, along with some other ones...
  7. A member of the Third Generation of vampires. Among the most strongest vampires there is. They killed the Second Generation and were supposedly punished by Caine for this. At the time of Bloodliens, most of them are throught to be in torpor, some have been killed or diablered... Here's a list of them: http://www.patman.org/wod/genealogy/Antediluvians.asp
  8. I think I see what you mean. Well, as I don't really beleive in a product being perfect on a first try (at least not a game) I usually don't mind the few bugs it might have at first, but I'll of course state a complainment about it through I won't be TOO harsh about it, unless they fail to fix it. And at least with Bloodlines, I was able to actually play the game, which is more than can be said for some games, like KOTOR.. *flashback to me buying KOTOR, it not working and me having to wait 2 months for the patch before I was able to play it)*
  9. Now, now, fanfics aren't an ALL bad thing. True, while 90 percent of fanfics I've read (of whatever) could be rated as junk, the reamining 10% can be pretty good BTW, you've been or are a VtM PnP player?
  10. Then so am I, as I enjoyed the game despite it's faults, thorugh it doesn't mean that I don't complain a little about it Or Andrei. Ore be Blood-hunting guys. Or the Sheriff. Or the annoying LaCroix-clones... Althrough the Flamethrower doesn't work too well on Xiao-chan. The flame-thrower can lower her health to about half, but that's it. Makes it easier, but the remaining half is still a pain back there to get over with...
  11. Hmm. I can't entirely agree about your first statement, partly because that I haven't got all endings yet (through I've been "spoiled" much enough to have an idea about what they are by now), but I can say that I was at least satisfied with the ending I got on my first palythrough, with the excpetation of that we did not get to know what was inside the Sarcophagus in that ending. Through as old Maxie said, it was perhaps for the bes tthat we didn't get to know .
  12. Well, this is more about personal taste, I think. I myself was pretty satisfied with my first ending, the Camarilla-ending, even through I was a little bothered of the fact that that ending did not reveal a few details... Well, the Gehenna stuff IS apparently a part of the Modern Nights, so not much that can be done there. But I'd like to see some different settings of the WoD than the Final Nights.. Of course, in a sense the Modern/Final Nights are a more obivious choice as these are filled with more chaos than ever before, but still, I'd like a to see a WoD PC-game which occurs int he medieval nights or even earlier than that. The Final/Modern nights may be the greatest time of chaos, but it is certainly not the only time of chaos and struggle as far as my meager knowledge of the WoD recalls...
  13. XD. suspected so.. but then, again, I also assumed that your computer might be much better than mine ;p.
  14. Oh, yeah, there's that :D. The long loading-times give quite some time for me to go and make a Skagen-sandwitch, get some water, take out the thrash, etc...
  15. Great personal cost? . I see your point, through . Depends on your point of view, I suppose. If you aren't bothered by the long loading-times or the bugs that is there (and 99% of those I encountered were no hinderance in playing the game) and try to focus on the story and other good stuff that there is, then nothing changes. I, at least, haven't lost my opinion of Bloodlines as a great game, but perhaps lost some faith in Troika's ability to fix the problems that may appear later.
  16. I heard that. But perhaps not everyone who have brought Bloodlines knows this?
  17. Meaning that when the fourth patch is out, you'll buy bloodlines? :D "
  18. Four? Dunno if I can say that it is entirely worthless through, as it fix the Society of Leopold bug (most annyoing bug in the game, but you can still use the console to escape it) plus the Isaac bug...
  19. Well, patch or not, it still doesn't fix the currently most annoying bug for me, so I won't bother to download the patch for now.
  20. Well, when the PC version of KOTOR 2 is released, I'll return to KOTOR once again then after that playthrough, I'll go and buy KOTOR 2, get home and install it and then play it like crazy, following the path I played in KOTOR 2 (meaning that my answers in the beginning will be related to what I did as Revan in the first game).
  21. I think I'll fall to the dark side on my first playthrough. On my second, I'll climb up to the light side :D
  22. Ahh... now, this is defintivelt interesting! I just wtched the re-made trailer and it looks quite good so far . As for changes.. Well the NCP had been changed to some newer faces, we see some cutscenes of the Ebon Hawk and some battles and instead of Sion at the end, it's the Mask-guy instead.. Interesting.. .
  23. Well, I doubt that the old Sith Lords have any stronger connection to the events in this game (if any at all), but I personally think it'd be cool to see statues of them in the game . Cooler than just see a tomb... <_<.
