SHOULD OBSIDIAN LEAVE KOTOR II MODABLE?
Dark Wanderer replied to steelfiredragon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
IMHO, something like that might be nice for later, but I don't think it's a good excuse to delay the game futher, thus making us wait even more to get it  -
That'd be so bad? I can't really agree to that . Besides Kashyyk wasn't too bad . But Dagobah would have very few people living there with the exceptation of some Dark Jedi.. <_<
-
Oh, if the dressing system works like before, then you'd be able to change that ;p

Hmm, Coruscant would be cool, but I'd also like to visit Dagobah...

Old Trilogy vs. New Trilogy vs. KOTOR
Dark Wanderer replied to sandman1347's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Simple: So far it's nowhere as good as the original trilogy. Would perhaps have better if it had not been created at all :/. I'm not saying that they're bad aLL through, but IMHO, episode 1 was a disdaster. Episode 2 was clearly much better, but it wasn't all that mind-blowing :/. KOTOR's. Well, if it's REALLY good, then maybe; at least it'd restore some of Lucas honor, so to speak. But IMHO, it's almost impossibe to repair the damage that was done by the first episode; to repair it the movie would almost have to be done all over again... Perhaps, but I'd hope that old Lucas keeps his hands away and does what he should be doing: fisheating -
Yep, precisely. I hope that the Sith of KOTOR 2 is a little smarter. Just a little smarter! That's the least we could ask for, I think <_<.
-
Yes, indeed.. The loyality of the Sith in KOTOR 1 was grossly overdone, if I may say so :/. Bad guys aren't exactly known for their loyality. And that's especially true for the Sith, I think... Especially in a situation like this: Malak threw everything he had against Revan when he attacked the Star Forge, but those were to a large part only Sith Apparentices; shouldn't they have known that battling a former Dark Lord of the Sith with his full power still intact would be almost suicide? <_<. Doesn't exactly make sense to me that they'd throw themselves at him like that just because that Malak says so <_<. Sith have been known for being many things, but not outright suicidal. Yeah, indeed that's so :D. This time, through, if done the right way, perhaps your whole party can recognize your true power! That's cooler than simply one Jedi, two robots and a mercenary being the only ones to do so
-
Something like that, yes . But it simply doesn't make sense that in for example KOTOR 1 or JA, you have to kill everyone (or almost everyone... at least you can make it so that you don't need to fight/kill the Sith on Korriban). There should habe been at least a few situations where your enemies were convinced to join you. Take for example the Sith in the Rakatan Temple on the Unknown Planet. You can tell them to "bow to the True Dark Lord of the Sith", but they simply reply that they serve Malak :/. Which in a way doesn't make too much sense to me.. If Revan was able to survive and fight this far, then shouldn't people get that he was stronger than Malak? But as it went, Bastila is the only one that notices this.. :/. No, I defintively think there should be at least some of the sith who'd choose to follow you if it came to a showdown between you and one of the three Sith Lords (and you won, of course ^__^).

Female Sith Lord?
Dark Wanderer replied to Idunnowhattochoose's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But Alora was. We need more Twi'leks. A Yuthura Ban, but much more evil and no personal problems. Oh, yes! More twi'leks, please!! hear this, devs? :D -
Hmm, in Japanese, the name means "poison"...

Female Sith Lord?
Dark Wanderer replied to Idunnowhattochoose's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Dame! (=no way!) Well, Tavion from JA wasn't too pretty I think.. <_<. Still she wasn't fat ;p. But all or most sith lords seem pretty ascetic, perhaps because that they battle often or because of their use of the Dark side, so to make her fat would seem kinda unrealistic (at least as far as the SW universite go) :/. Ugly, now, that's another matter. -
Female Sith Lord?
Dark Wanderer replied to Idunnowhattochoose's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Hehe, it wouldn't be too bad. We've seen far too few Dark Ladies :D -
True, but that doesn't mean that it'll be bad as an RPG, althrough that remains to see. But after seeing the half-an-hour Yahoo movie demo of it, I defintively think the game will be good . I'm just worried by the lack of subtitles so far...
-
If that's the case, one would wish that they changed the picture that shows her over at Lucasarts <_<
-
Could be interesting, yes, if the option was there to ally yourself with them and only fight/kill some of them, like for example the Sith Lord whose place you wish to take. After all, if you kill ALL of them, what is there left to rule over?

"Official Relase Date"??????
Dark Wanderer replied to aggiekevin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
And Myrddraals serving the Dark Lords.. -
I don't doubt that, but I think that at the same time, each Dark Lord of the Sith have had his/her uniquite and awsome abilites/powers. I don't know how strong Ragnos was in terms of power, but his ability as a leader seems to have been truly frightening since he was able to rule the Sith Empire very effectively for as long as he lived. Naga Sadow and Palaptine as well as others have had their abilites too; Sadows has already been mentioned and Palaptine had his ability to manipulate, his Force Storms and his ability to live on through his clones...

For KOTOR 2 news, I usually go here or to GameBanshee.

I don't think so. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines has it, I think and it's an RPG...

Questions the the Devs - Take 2
Dark Wanderer replied to EnderAndrew's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Who does not? . My computer isn't the worst one there is, but there's certainly room for improvement <_<. Oh, well, my computer was able to handle KOTOR 1 and Morrowind just fine, so I suppose that I should not be too worried . -

Dark Wanderer replied to aggiekevin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Aww, what a pity. Then meaning that if you're wrong, you'll instead make some extra KOTOR 2 stuff for all of us for free? ;p. At least, that wouldn't cost you anything expect a few hours of work -
