  1. It’s primary attack, so only mainhand. Dang. Somewhat annoying but at least it gives a reason for a 2h character. I do not see much of a point right now.
  2. Good idea. Anyways, still fairly stoked for ships. I think it's a great idea and the execution seems pretty solid so far.
  3. Anyone else hate that slots for cypher abilities appear even if you haven't selected a single ability for that level? It just clogs up the UI. Waving over it, having nothing there, and faded text on the side not in the box, it looks almost like a bug its so ugly.
  4. Does soul annihilation proc on both weapons if you dual the way fod does or just one?

  6. I did some recoloring but I agree that it would look better as pale elf, the original is too gray. Proper elf ears are required though. Looks freaking awesome! Thanks.
  7. I recall the same problem when creating an assassin - no mention of exact numbers nor for the bonus nor for the penalty. You can only see those numbers when you've already made a character and found those passives in your character sheet. Other classes have the same problem. I also don't like that if I'm already at the end of character creation in customization and then want to change something in the beginning, like sex or race, I have to backtrack through all the screens in the middle along with the warning message about multiclassing to get to the beginning. Why aren't these clickable? Oh yeah that is a good point. I found that annoying as well.
  8. I dunno, these look too sharp and...on the side? Would you mind just doing a water color of the original? I think it looks pretty cool even without elf ears.
  9. My biggest issue, and it's a systemic issue in the game it feels like sometimes, is the lack of information. Helwalker gives me increased damage in exchange for taking more damage? Sounds fun! How much? Oh it doesn't say. Oh I've created my character. Oh it's 5X the amount? Jesus Christ. Now I have to roll an entirely new character. I just don't understand why they cannot take the time to explain the mechanics at work. It's very frustrating.
  10. Probably just me being wrong I take Fast Runner on Unbroken Fighters, but otherwise yes, it's pretty terrible. PL2 for Fighters is awful. Compare that to Paladin that has 2 very nice passive at PL2.
  11. Sneak applies to wizard spells right? Also Bleaker walker/devoted dual wield is a hell of a lot of fun. Soloed the entire starting island. I had planned to do a devoted/soul blade but I hate having a dump stat and I think the cypher UI is super ugly if you don’t take any spells.
  12. Hey thanks man! I can't wait till I get all my quick cast self buffs down correctly. Gonna be a lot more fun now worrying about them and just focusing on casting the big stuff.
  13. I still think the lack of early game passives for some classes is very annoying. Especially fighter. Fanatic (bleak walker/beserker) build is loads of fun though. Experimented with that today. No dumps either.
  14. Nice lol. Though it begs the question why having more early PL passives is bad but stuff like this is so easy to do it's not even funny.
  15. What were the portraits that you used for their bodies? I think this will look better if I cut and paste the official watercolored heads and just work with the bodies. Ocean folk here's from PoE directory folder, two others are Jason Seow's work First one is great. Second two are kind of ugly but I like the art style. Very detailed.

  17. This is the number one thing, and frankly the only meaningful thing, that has detracted from my leveling experience in the beta so far. I LOVE having to choose between multiple powerful abilities at the higher PL. I HATE choosing between two less bad passive/abilities early in the game. For some of my builds this is not the case but as I've been trying out combination of different characters I consistently find myself with at least one dump ability/passive per a build. I find this almost always occurs within the 2 and 3 PL's. Is moving tough to PL 3 instead of PL 5 going to break the balance? Of course not. But it would at least feel like a more meaningful than taking stride on a Fighter or Rogue who have tons of options to close the distance between themselves and others. I really think the passives or abilities should be moved around to make for fewer dumps on different builds. I'm curious if anyone else has had the same feeling?
  18. For me it is a must have in terms of self-buffing. Going through .5 second casts every skirmish is a massive headache and turns me off of those builds. I want to cast leaps, fireballs, and crippling debuffs. I do think some more conditionals need to be added to keep some abilities from spamming out unnecessarily.
  19. Wish we could control eye color. That part is a drag.
