Kreia seemed more of an dark neutral, what with being the final sith lord at the end of the game, causing Atris to turn, endangering Telos ect,ect
and Jolee seemed more of a light neutral, trying to help people, fighting aganist a DS Revan.
The last HK-47 dialogue told a lot about Revan's motives at the end of the Mandalorian war. He has two main points about malachor 5
That the soliders and jedi that did die i the battle were ones that did not like Revan, or agree with some of his ideas. HK refers to this as "Cleaning House"
That the jedi and soliders that did go with the war began to be converted to the dark side by the death and destruction they were forced to cause
You find out he was once a padawan at the academy at Dantooine but became tired of jedi arrogance after you were exiled. He then offers to let you train him as a jedi
Even though it was difficult to read your post, I will tell you how i did this.
You need to get a lot of influence with Bao-Dur to make him a Jedi. Make him the only one in your party and go around helpiong people and refusing rewards. For example, the weather insturments quest on Dantooine got two things of influence, and helping the sik man on Nar Shadaa got me another. So, i guess you could say it is "a lightside thing"

The plotline of KOTOR 1 was very compelling, and it's ending unsatisfing. We never find out what happened to all of our favorite party members. I am getting KOTOR 2 in order to find out. The gae is also supposed to have it's own plot as well.
It will also give me something to do over holiday break.
While it seems that everyone except the poster likes the darker theme, I will be sad if all the charecters from the first one get killed.
You can't say you like the darker theme without liking all of it
