DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan, a highly pretentious alternate history RPG, now on Kickstarter
Thanks, to be honest, even if everyone put me on the ignore list I would still be here commenting daily for non-members or newbies that come here and browse to read the comments. That to me is more important anyway hehe

RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
When you find somebody's posts to be consistently unpleasant to the point where you always want to skip them, then Ignore makes forums easier to scan through for enjoyable posts. Whether the blocked individual learns from the experience is beside the point. They no longer exist. You still see when the person posts though lol It just hides their comments, if the person is very active you will still see their name alot. They never fully dissapear.

- What are you playing right now?
YES! I agree but I think it's only because people who follow/don't follow the genre don't realize that most Hero fps games get overlooked right away as they get labeled "Overwatch clones" so right away, they basically have virtually no chance of succeeding. Most release or hit early access and are never even acknowledged or found, Overwatch is just that strong atm. The biggest problem is, I think, that everyone forgets that it started off as a Team Fortress knock-off. Therfore comparing every hero fps to Overwatch right away. Most of them are free-to-play and just as good but people have to look to find out and nobody likes doing their own research these days it seems. I told myself I would never buy a hero fps til I saw Lawbreakers, then on further inspection I found that it is a hero fps that is the totally opposite of Overwatch. I ended up getting it because I trust Cliffy B more than Blizzard and judging by the beta it's already a better product with more support and love than Overwatch. But... for the people who are actually involved in that mp competitive space, I can see how it's so addicting. Playing tournaments, traveling and playing against real people, always having different match-ups (granted the game's playerbase is big enough), provides a totally unique experience every time. Similar to fighting games which I love... Damn that explains why people have 2,000+ hours in these games lol- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
It's like GTA built for Badurs Gate/NWN fans lol Pretty neat! http://www.pcgamer.com/citadel-forged-with-fire-is-a-wizarding-sandbox-rpg-from-the-makers-of-slender/?utm_content=buffer1ae14&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=buffer_pcgamerfb- DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan, a highly pretentious alternate history RPG, now on Kickstarter
I love it actually. Makes me feel important, seems they respected me enough to go that extra mile. I won't be sad or complain about it- DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan, a highly pretentious alternate history RPG, now on Kickstarter
And when a game doesn't get a Steam release, developer receives loads of e-mails saying "Steam or no-buy". And when a game receives special treatment outside of Steam, like on consoles, Steam users get upset and angry. That's not specific to GOG users, that's just how idiots behave. Similar to idiots who bring up GOG vs Steam rivalry (albeit indirectly) in every other thread in existence and then claim they're not Steam fanboys. Admittedly, similar to idiots who keep taking their troll bait, so... I think I'll quote Bart on this, but you will have to use -some- imagination to make it apply for my accountWow... really didn't mean for my comment to strike a nerve with you but I'm going to ask you to refrain from the brash assumptions. I'm not even a Steam lotyalist or anything and nor did I bring up a rivalry. I made a comment that was meant more as a joke for anything but I will say that Steam's community is not as nearly as vocal as Origin's or GOG. And I think it's because Steam has alot more options than both Origin or GOG. It's just somethimg I noticed is all. Are there really many Steam users that go to GOG threads demanding that devs bring a game to Steam? Hmmm...- DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan, a highly pretentious alternate history RPG, now on Kickstarter
You can actually release DRM-free games without GOG. Or Steam. Or any other distribution service for that matter - and many Kickstarter games did do just that, incidentally. So thus far the only person who seems to be acting like an arse would be you :-PThis wasn't directed towards anyone here (even though some people here hate Steam so they may take slight offense) but at the Steam forums you can see how many GOG loyalists are there to complain every time a game gets ported/released on Steam or special treatment on Steam whereares GOG does not. As soon as the Steam hub goes up, they will be there on the forums asking as always so the devs may as well do everything they can to avoid the headache.- DEMIURGOS: Path of the Leviathan, a highly pretentious alternate history RPG, now on Kickstarter
The last thing you want is the GOG cult hounding you down to your front door step. They're worse than the anti-prepurchase campaigners who are comparable to the man with a sign at the end of the street yelling "The end is nigh!!!!"- All the Literature and Reading Stuff...

Yeah, I didn't really consider Planescape as sci-fi either... more like psychadelic fantasy.- What are you playing right now?
Mad Max is probably the most underrated open world game ever made. Yes, it is amazing. I don't think I ever felt like it was repetitive but then again, if you're someone who gets sick of seeing the desert then you'll probably consider it as so. I know what you mean. It's hard sometimes, especially if you get new games every so often. The backlog begins to build. I've only played one game this year that has interested me enough to complete it 100% and then some. That was Hollow Knight, everyone who plays it says that it's just as good if not better than Super Metroid and Castlevania SOTN. So I beat Hollow Knight 2 times and even though I've seen everything that needs to be seen, I feel like the game is brand new everytime I play it.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS

- What's on the idiot box?
Good question. I'm not really sure, but it's worth noting that Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer of this show so it should remain pretty well done (I hope).- Build Thread 2.0
My secondary pc is an Alienware Alpha with supposedly an 860m gtx 2gb that is non-upgradable as it was said to be soldered unto the motherboard. However, someone made a video of upgrading it with a 1080? Weird.- After PoE and Tyranny, you want to see what kind of fantasy settings that Obsidian create?
You mean something like... Alpha Protocol Plus? Edit: Sniped to the point... Alpha Protocol: Cyberpunk 2199!!!- YouTube & Video Games

Idk, I don't think blocking anyone is going to change anything tbh, nor do I think it's going to imprint some thought process or make someone learn a lesson if that was the point? After all, you still see when they comment technically and you still see their picture whenever they made the last post on the topic page so I think it's pointless. I thought about blocking people too at one point but for those facts, I figured... what's the point? The people you block never get completely filtered but I hope you gave all of them the same royal treatment of a video that you gave me. Or maybe I'm just special. Thank you again for that, it made my day :D Other than that, I find it strange how people on this forum encourage others to "argue" or "defend/take a stance" but then when they do, someone gets offended. That's kinda weird but it's a forum. I guess that's just how things work here.- What's so funny right now?

LOL! I made a post in the Way-Off section and someone called me by that name I was like "Who is that?" And they had to explain it to me. It was pretty funny.- RANDOM VIDEO GAME NEWS
Maybe the Way Off-topic section which is where most of the same peeps from this section go to discuss politics among other things. We get some from other corners of the forum every now and then but they don't last very long. The peeps from here basically own the Way Off-Topic territory as well tbh lol- Random Sales
