When I play deadfire I am going to try as hard as I can to not revert to this forum or the internet for spoilers, hints and tips. Even small hints and tips from the net greatly reduces the fun factor in the game. Trust me, figure stuff out yourself. You will get so much more out of the game.

Couldn't agree more with the OP Chanters where the worst class for enjoyment by far I forgave obs because they more then made up for it with the cipher

Pillars 2 will be big. I'm hoping wizards of the coast wake up and give the forgotten realms franchise back to obsidian after it. One can only pray:)

You will completely ruin your playing experience if you try and work out exactly how the AI works. Just ignore it and enjoy the game

Depends on how much experience you have. If your a veteran anything will work. If you are trying out POTD for the fist time I would recommend 2 tanks ( fighter and paladin) a secondary damage dealer (rogue, barb or a ranger) and three ranged casters ( wiazard, priest and cipher/ Druid) Easy

There going to have expansions not a sequel expansion. This is there business model that worked well the first time. But yeah I agree with you

Definitely won't be rolling with pallegina. Goody goody female (non feminine) godlike paladin that can't where helmets. Nothing against female companions but I just don't think a girl fits that role. Would love to role a slender female wood elf rogue with super fast blades

Being the CEO he would very well be obliged to say that his project would be on course to finish on the specified date. If it takes longer to make then he would lose money paying wages and other costs. He is obvisouly not going to say anything to encourage his development team to finish late.

Sawyer has already acknowledged that the white March was a better quality game then the original content. He has also said that he will be bringing over a lot of the things they learnt from this onto DF.

@op You should switch to amua and max might and leave con at 10 especially if solo. The priest really starts to shine once you get avatar. Until then your going to be doing it tough but once you do get it and the hammer and the maegfolc skull you will absolutely wreck the game sideways.
